I was RIPPED OFF BY PICKERING HONDA TODAY! upset at my stupidity to bring my car there (I have three Honda's). My wifes honda fit ex-l had a check engine light on. I am a VERY handy person and being so I have an ODB2 reader so I read the code and it indicated a #4 cylinder misfire. I then suspected coil pack easy fix. I switched the coil packs around tried the code and same code! So could only be fuel injector. I call Honda Canada to verify I am still until warranty they tell me yup power train warranty till October 2021 but check with dealer. I take it to PICKERING HONDA I tell them what I did, checked code.. switched coil pack and suspect injector (which I could fix myself but under warranty hey why not go to dealer) so I asked point blank if under warranty he says I dont know will have to check under the hood?. still I think power train warranty means anything in engine right? An hour later he calls me tells me its the fuel injector (like I told him at the counter) NOT UNDER WARRANTY????He wants $950 for one injector and 3 hours labour so about $1700. I go back and pickup my car and he tells me that'll be $160 for telling me what i told him was wrong with the car when i dropped it off!. SO he purposely did not advise me at the time of me dropping off the car that coil packs or injectors were not under warranty knowing they would get $160 from me for a few minutes of testing to tell me what I already knew. I'm an average guy but boy when I feel scammed that really boils my bubble and scammed I was!! F Pickering Honda! Dead to me! Never never trust the stealerships again!

And that manager in his 30 ish is not only hurting interest of sales people by not completing deal but also damages the interest of the dealership.

We recently bought our first vehicle in Canada which was a pre-owned 2016 CR V EX. Maria Williams was our product specialist and she put us at ease from the moment we stepped in and patiently shared with us all of the inventory within our parameters. Overall though we exceed our budget, we were delighted to because we were assured we bought an excellent vehicle which was serviced and maintained at this location. Last Saturday I was out looking for a new vehicle and went to several dealerships looking for just the right vehicle. One dealership I attended didn't even acknowledge me when I entered the showroom! So I just left there and attended Pickering Honda instead and am I glad I did! I went into Pickering Honda and immediately I was greeted by Maria WILLIAMS and made to feel welcome. She listened to what I was looking for and showed me some viable options. On the following Monday I returned with my wife to look again and test drove many vehicles as our minds started to shift to another style of vehicle. They really took care of my needs, and if you are in the market and looking for a new or used vehicle please hit them up, Their inventory was pretty decent I had found 5 cars I liked and saw all of them, they were very patient and down to earth, it didn't feel like a "intelligent run around" compared to other dealerships. I was approached as soon as I walked into the building, I almost felt like royalty. As one should feel when making such a purchase.

I purchased my first car here which is perfect for my family, all thanks to Maria Williams and Pickering Honda!

My only issue was the extended warranty program was offered but man it's pricey, It's like buying insurance twice! You may want to consider revisiting the pricing and such.

went in for an oil change and the assistant manager told me it would be about an hour wait. the dealership was a bit busy so i knew it would be a bit more than that. after 3 hours of waiting, i decided to check up on my vehicle, only to find out that it was completed but no one had come to tell me. they had filed my information away and would not have come to get me if i didn’t ask. on top of that, they did not have my car key with the paper work and had to find it. communication on their end was very poor. most likely will not return to this dealership.

I own Honda Pilot 2015, Odyssey 2005 and Odyssey 2019. For all sorts of maintenance minders I take my cars to Pickering Honda. They are the best in business. The Service Department is excellent. Most of the time, I get the appointment for service from Pamela Graham (Service Consultant). I have yet to see any other Service Advisor as competent and efficient as her. Just let her know about every problem your car is going through and she can take care of it. Well done Pickering Honda !!

Well I have never wrote a Google review before. My review is about Pickering Honda. I own a 2017 Honda Civic Si which is still under warranty. This summer my AC stopped working, naturally I went to Pickering Honda where I purchased the vehicle. Much to my surprise I was quoted $399 for an AC diagnostic test which by the way is equal to 3 hours labour. I was shocked needless to say the least and pretty much walked away. I called Honda Canada who advised me that the dealers are the one's who make the prices. I spoke to a friend who referred me to Markham Honda. I called and spoke to the service manager and explained to him how I was going to be charged $399 for an AC diagnostic and he was shocked advising that it's only 1 hour labour and the cost is $129. Needless to say I went to Markham Honda and they completed the diagnostic test and they replaced the condenser. Because it was still covered under warranty I paid zero, did not even pay for the diagnostic. Point of the story is Pickering Honda tried to rip me off and charge me more that double for same work. Say no to Pickering Honda.

There was an issue of me trading in my first car for the second one, someone forgot to tell Honda I had paid off the first car since it was a trade in so I was being charged for two cars. I feel the exact same way as a bunch of other people about this dealership.

Everyone was so nice when it came to purchasing a car, but after you buy that car, they are rude and unprofessional.
I was initially lied to about my car. I was told it came fully equipped with navigation, that was my main want in a car, but then after signing all the papers and picking up my car. It turned out the model I had didn't have one.

In the mist of trying to "solve the issue" I was told that they would give me free (3) platinum detailing. I just tried to use the detailing on my file and it turns out they just wrote "detail" with no description of the kind and only 1 on the file. Of course, since the car is already purchased, they are now trying to low ball me and give me the silver package with the basic vacuuming. Why would I agree to keep a car without navigation for a damn vacuuming.
I asked to speak to a manager and the lady said she would contact the sales team and call me right back and that was four days ago.
They say whatever they want to sell the car. It is shady to try and lie about purchase and then do the basic minimum to cover it up. If there's no details then you should give the customer what they need! It's ridiculous and fraudulent!

The sales staff is really nice, because they want to sell you a car and make their money. But once you buy that car, be ready to receive the worst service experience ever time & time again. Unlike other dealerships, they do not even try to reach a satisfactory level of customer service. The service staff is not very courteous and lacks knowledge. Best hope they do everything right on your car, because they definitely will not get in touch with you once you contact them with a concern about them forgetting to do the full service on your car which you paid for. Not all Honda dealerships are this bad or even come close, better to drive a little further to a different one than to regret the experience here.

First off I’d like to start by saying that this is the second vehicle my husband and I have bought from Pickering Honda in the past 8 months. Both times we dealt with Brandon who we found to be pleasant, informative and kind. We were pleased with how we were treated by Brandon on both occasions. I believe we were fairly easy to please on both sales as we basically knew what we were looking for prior to coming to the Dealership. We were paying cash in full for both purchases, so there was no hassles with setting up financing. When I came to pick up my car on the Friday, I was greeted at the front desk by a man who I sensed i was inconveniencing as he was on the phone. However, after asking if Brandon was in, and being told that he was not. I said I was here to pick up my car. Then I was told that yes indeed he was working this day, but was out and that he would message him to tell him I was there. I waited and waited, and waited at the desk, nobody paid me an ounce of heed whilst I stood waiting, no offers of a seat while I wait, no eye contact by anyone walking by. I even mentioned to a couple of the girls milling around the front desk that it was feast or famine around here. Their response was quick to know which of the two I was experiencing, I explained that nobody had said a word to me the entire time I had been waiting. I sure didn’t feel like I was being treated like someone who had just bought a car from their place of employment. When Brandon got there he made getting my vehicle a priority and I waited once again. I was also informed at this time that I owed $32.00 for the licence plate transfer which I had come in days prior and paid at that time. That should never have been a conversation, had the communication between the man that took my money for it on the Wednesday had either given me a receipt, and or at the very least informed Brandon that it had been paid for. After waiting for some time Brandon returned explaining that my new vehicle had been blocked in by other vehicles and when he tried to get it out, the battery in one of the cars blocking mine was dead. So, that took a bit longer than was normal. When Brandon brought my vehicle around and he got the plates put on etc. I went out and mentioned that the vehicle had not been cleaned on the outside, I expected that it should have been cleaned and gleaming for me. He explained that he would rectify that problem. We then went into the vehicle so he could answer any questions I had, and assist me with some of the features. I then realized that there was no gasoline in the vehicle, and I expressed my displeasure that these things should have been taken care of prior to pick up. As you can imagine, the wind was taken out of my sails and I certainly was disappointed in what I believe should have been a special moment for me, which it was not. So after driving over to the gas station to get gas, we came back and again I had to, you guessed it, wait again till they “dusted” off the car so it looked a bit cleaner than it was before. So yeah, that was my experience whilst picking up my new vehicle. Would I come back again or recommend Pickering Honda? I would really wrestle with that decision.

I will give them my business when buying a car for sure, assuming I still live in the area. My Odyssey still runs very well after nine years. But never again for service. The receptionists were friendly enough, but somewhat aloof and didn't truly care or even give an impression of caring. The cost was double what it would have cost elsewhere (brakes, belt, detailing) but my laziness had me leave it there and let them do it. So I agreed to pay the extra cost, that's on me. But the detailing was the last straw. The tray area between the two front seats had melted crayon on it. It wasn't removed. Took me two minutes to do this when I brought it home, they couldn't go that extra mile? Found dust, dirt and a toy between the back seat. They really just did a 10 minute vacuum on this, plus ran it through the car wash.
Anyway, I'd say "you get what you pay for" except for the fact that I paid a lot, and I didn't get that.

I purchased a car from Jose, who I will say was the absolute greatest!! He was very informative, professional and caring with what I was looking for, and I'm extremely grateful for his time and service!

Unfortunately my issue is with Kimberly. Throughout signing the paper work for the purchase, I will extremely clear on when payments were to be scheduled to start, to which she understood, and we had everything on paper for set schedule. It turns out that the payment schedule we agreed upon was completely dismissed and set to a different date. A clear indication of negligence on Kimberly's side, her mistake. When I contacted her about her fixing the date to what we originally signed upon, she told me to contact the bank and do it myself, completely disregarding the fact it was her responsibility to fix, since she picked a date different than signed upon.

She then told me to drive from Toronto to Picking just to re sign the papers to fix her issue. I told her it was inconvenient for me to come so far to fix a mistake caused on her end.

My parents and cousin are in the market to buy a Honda, and they asked me about where I got mine, and how they wanted to check it out, but because of Kimberly's negligence and refusal to fix her own error, I told them to go elsewhere, to which they have. Unfortunately, I will no longer be dealing with Pickering Honda because of this.

Service is non existent here. Called over 10 times, over a 4 day period, at different times of the day to book an appointment and no one in the service department picks up the phone. This was the same reason I started going to Whitby Honda 5 years ago when I moved into the area. I called and called and called and couldn't book a simple appointment at this dealership. Nothing has changed. Still no one picking up their phones. The only other time I came here they tried telling me I needed to replace a gas lid for $800.00 when all I needed was to replace the gas lid cable for $125.00. Took a lot of arguing with the service rep who finally conceded there was nothing wrong with the gas lid itself and it was in fact the cable. Now I decided to give this place another chance because it's so much closer to me but it's not meant to be. All I get is voice mail. There are only so many times I can ask the receptionist to be transferred to the service department. Does anyone work here? Does anyone care?Back to Whitby Honda. It's a lot further away but they have excellent service there and ALWAYS pick up the phone. Same goes for all the other Honda dealerships I've been to except for this one. Don't they want customers? Guess not. (PS: I'm in your database but who uses their real name online? Not me).

Brandon P was AMAZING. This was my first time buying a car. Brandon was so helpful, helped me with all my questions, not pushy, super friendly and chill. He is a true gem and knows his stuff. The entire experience at this location was wonderful. From the welcoming environment when i walked in, speaking with Peter and Terry through my purchasing process made me at ease and super excited as this was a huge milestone.

I went to another location prior and did not like the vibe what soever . I live in Mississauga and hands down after this great experience i would drive to Pickering to see Brandon and his team. I purchased MY first car from here recently.. (It was pre owned) Never the less An enormous, and in fact stiIl my largest purchase ever. I actually signed all the paperwork with Buddy, even though he was clearly the most busy person in the dealership. with Buddy Taylor ---------- All I can say is "WOW!" What an absolute pleasure it was to work with this man. And to be able feel the so confident in discussing confidence in such world class professional. He completely explained everything so perfectly. This gentleman was the most patient, calm, and utterly helpful in what ended up being a wonderful experience. My issue today, I that when I went make a surprise into visit into the showroom with a gift fro my guy, I learned that they had fired him. I asked around a bit and the best answer I could gather was that he was often late for work. Let me first say that if you manage to even find an employee of that stature, KEEP HIM. And I spoke with Buddy as well. The Fact that this dealership actually fired the top guy the same day his grandmother dies, and has his replaced while his chair is still warm. Not to mention his 2 year old child, whom Honda clearly had no regard for either. It is absolutely shameful. Never will I do any service here, I will never refer my friends. and I will still stay in touch with Buddy so that in one year, I can change my car in with him wherever he is. Honda you should be ashamed for yourselves. There is so , much more to thus story and I do almost feel this story needs to be told. Pickering Honda you are scum for you actions.. shame ON YOU

And just look at Buddy's Reviews... They are stellar, like no one had anything but the highest regard for him. Pickering Honda, you have lost here in a big way. And I believe that more is to come. For you ..

I know this is not the perfect Honda dealership, but in comparison with few Honda dealerships in Toronto, it is at least honest when it comes to service performed.

No pressure sales tactic, not suggesting to repair things that didn't need the repair.

Pickering Honda will not suggest thousands of dollars of brake job every time you go in for a simple oil change. For that reason alone I trust Pickering Honda service department.

These guys are good! I bought a new Accord for the price I wanted and they didn't hassle me one bit. The salesperson (Dan) was very honest and the negotiation was not the BS you get from most other rip off dealerships in the GTA. In total I got the car I wanted in 2 hours of my time. Even Paul, the financial person I dealt with at the payment details didn't hassle me with anything, which is a first I ever seen. These guys are straight shooters and that's all I can say about that.
