I had my 2019 Kona with 6400 km in for an oil change. I was barely on the street when the engine died. Within minutes there was smoke coming out from under the hood. Everyone that I have told about this has had the same reaction. They say that they didn't put oil back in. According to Jeff in the service dept the Hyundai's have a problem with the engines seizing. I cannot prove on way or the other what happened but buyer beware if you are thinking about buying a Hyundai do your homework. Also, I would suggest staying away from ttheir service dept. I stress that there is no proof regarding the oil but it appears strange to me.

I've been going to Milton Hyundai since 2011. Purchased 2 cars there and have used their service department many, many times.

One of the reasons I bought a Hyundai was because of the total experience including the service department.

I also like the rewards program where you get free things and money you can use against the purchase of another car. Things like auto detailing etc which I have been able to take advantage of and use.

I also like that my car gets washed when I take it there for service.

Typically I deal with LaurieAnn. I've never had a bad experience when she's been my advisor over the years. Fair and honest and will treat you well.

So I was not sure what to expect from this experience, but I must say that both Victor and Doug made this a truly enjoyable adventure.

This dealership is amazing, wish i could give them at 11/10!!!! I took my 2018 Hyundai Tucson in for its 24000kms service ,from start to finish it was a flawless and very pleasant experience. My advisor Thomas was very informative and kind. I often find as a female going into a dealership can be an intimidating experience, not at this dealership. The service was completed faster than expected as well which was a bonus especially on a Saturday. The shuttle drive Shaun was such a pleasure to speak with on my ride home and back to the dealership! He even called me when he was on my driveway at 12:10(Thomas had already let me know to expect him between 12-12:30). Even my sales person Matthew recognized me a year after purchasing the vehicle and asked how I was and how I was still liking the car! Its refreshing to not feel like just a number. Got my wifes Tuscon here in 2016...the entire sales team needs an overhaul. Our experience initially was good, however when it came time to pick up the car after purchase it was still sitting in the exact same spot we parked it after the test drive, dirty from rain, no plates, nothing...sales management didn't seem to care when I expressed my disappointment that the car wasn't ready when they said it was going to be...

Buy your car at a different Hyundai but get it serviced here if you like as the service team is really good and pleasant to deal with...the opposite of the sales team.

Absolutely horrible experience. Would add 0 stars If I could. I Went last year for a recall on my 2011 Sonata and it came back worse than before; the right side controls of my steering wheel stopped working after I got my vehicle back, so I can't use my cruise control or check between the different dash view settings and when I told the clerk at the dealership he told me it was a just a coincidence this happened and that they did not do anything and it was unrelated and that I had to spend $145 to fix this and would not help me without having to pay to even have the car looked at. The buttons were working 100% before this because I use them everyday, so it is not just a coincidence they stop working immediately after I get my car back from the service recall. Clearly some wires were unplugged on purpose so that I would have to pay to get it looked at and fixed. The engine light also was on when I got my car back and the clerk also told me it was an unrelated problem and again had to pay to have it looked at. I told him to run the codes and clear the light so that I can check with my own mechanic because after the steering wheel control incident I felt like I could not trust the dealer anymore. I got the codes, went to my personal mechanic, and no codes showed up and nothing was wrong and the engine light never came back. A clear sign of scam here only looking to fish as much money out of me. My family has purchased 2 vehicles here in the past and every time we are at this dealership we experience atrocious customer service with having our cars delayed for pickup. We will never come back here ever again and I implore others to please look at other options in vehicle brands or at least a different Hyundai location. I have another recall for my car that I refuse to book because I am honestly afraid my vehicle will come back worse than before like how it did last time and will be told to pay more. I am very disappointed now that I can't even trust my dealership and have to deal with the fact that there is another recall on my vehicle that I cannot get taken care of because of fishy dealership tactics. Please everyone stay away.

They did what they could on price to reduce the impact on my family when we had to go to a higher trim level. Matthew was super helpful and involved every step of the way! We hope this level of service continues for many years to come as we enjoy our new tow vehicle. My only suggestion would be that, given that our new vehicle can tow 5000 lbs., it would have been super convenient to have a hitch with 7-pin (brake controller) installed on location; however, I understand the why, but perhaps this is something to look into for them. I went to Milton Hyundai for a recall repair on my Sonata. First off they forgot to pick me up so I called and a hour later they arrived. I took this all in stride and was still happy they picked me up. My car was ready and I went in and started the car and the service engine soon light was on. Went back in and told LaurieAnn and she took the keys and my work order and went to the shop to get it checked. Five minutes later she says it’s all fine so I say thanks and get in the car and start it again. Light is on again so I tell her again and she brings the keys to the shop again. Now she comes with this hand written piece of paper say the light was on when the mechanic got it so they left the car like that. I told her when I left the car there was no service light on. The work order that I have says nothing about the service light on. Should you not record it and tell me before I leave? She made me feel like I knew and it’s my fault. She gets a price of $235 to fix it and tells me to drive it a couple of times to see if the light will go off. I am telling you now again there was no SERVICE LIGHT ON.How dare you make me feel like I lied to you. Do your job properly and this would never happen. If I where you I would take a video of the dash while the car is running and show them when you bring the car in for service. Unfortunately I have to do this from now on.

My dad bought a car on my behalf last year from Milton Hyundai, approximately April 2018. It was a 2014 Hyundai Elantra GT hatchback bought with 101,000km, and I have since driven 13,500 kilometres on it. I have had a number of issues on the car since then. First, one of my NEW tires developed a bubble which indicates a snapped tire belt and so I had to buy a new tire. Then, my wheel bearing broke on my front left tire. The whole time my mechanic was saying that it was oddly sticky. Now, my breaks are sticky too?? And I need to get them replaced because they are constantly sticking and making a loud clicking sound. My YAW sensor is also broken. My experience with repairs on this car for the length of time that I’ve had it is unbelievable and so frustrating. Clearly the dealership didn’t make sure the car was in proper condition before selling it to us and now I’m suffering the consequences.

This place has the exact customer service you hate to receive, because right from the beginning, you know it’s going to go nowhere.

I purchased an extended warranty through Milton Hyundai that both my brother and I (who was with me during the purchase) were under the impression came with a partial refund if no repairs were ever needed. My car’s cruise control stopped working suddenly around two or three years after the purchase date, so I brought it in. I was told that the repair was covered under the warranty, but they advised to not get it fixed under warranty because it would void my partial refund. I could live without cruise control, so I decided if I ever needed to use the warranty down the line on something major, I would address it then. Fast forward to today, and my warranty has expired, so I call to begin the process for the refund.

First call, they cannot find the record of my purchase. They tell me they’ll call me back tomorrow after they have a chance to look for it. No one calls me. I call back the next day and am told the person that I was talking to didn’t come in today. They’ll leave them a message. I ask if anyone else can help and they say no. The next day I get called back finally and they’ve located my purchase files. They tell me my warranty doesn’t qualify for a refund. I explain the situation and the person on the phone offers the best explanation they can think of, and that the salesman was describing a different warranty that was more expensive. So at best, it feels like a bait and switch. Honestly, my fault for not reading the entire contract, so there’s nothing I can really do, but I’d say this was a slimy move. I ask them why they advised me not to use the warranty when my car broke, and the guy’s only offer was (many years later) that they could still fix the cruise control because my warranty wasn’t expired. I said, yes actually it has expired. He said, “Oh”. So I asked if that meant he was offering nothing. He said, “Yes”. I asked him to speak with the general manager, who he got to call me the next day. The GM essentially said, well you don’t get your car serviced here anymore (because I’ve moved an hour away) so there’s nothing I can offer you. To be honest, it felt like a really condescending conversation.

I would not recommend this place. Grimy sales tactics, and a “sucks to be you” attitude when you feel wronged.

I was looking for a new car, and based on past experience, Milton Hyundai was the first place I visited.
I was greeted by Andrew St. Jacques. After explaining to Andrew what I was looking for, he gave me details on a couple of vehicles they had in stock that would meet my requirements. He clearly explained and demonstrated all the options included on the cars, and the details of the pricing, etc. He let me take as much time as I needed and ask as many questions as I wanted, with no pressure.
He clearly explained the details and price on a couple of other vehicles as a comparison.
End result was that I bought a car from Andrew. He was very professional and knowledgeable. He did not try to pressure me, and he let me take as much time as I needed to make a decision.
When I picked up the car, Andrew was very hands on, showing me how to operate all of the options and electronics etc., including setting up my phone on the Apple Carplay.
Andrew was very helpful from the time I first entered the dealership, until I drove away with my new car.

Just purchased our first Hyundai product from this dealership and I need to say that the services we received was fantastic. This was not a usual vehicle purchase as it actually initiated from Head Offices of Hyundai Canada, and the dealership of our choosing basically dealt with the paperwork and physical delivery of the vehicle to us. To the best of my knowledge, the dealership itself received no compensation for handling this transaction other than a "unit" being moved.

That said, we were treated extremely well and in a very timely manner. The General Manager Kevin Lawson was very professional and exceedingly helpful. He made it a point to come check in with us just prior to taking delivery of the vehicle. We were in and out of the dealership within 25 minutes. I look forward to servicing our vehicle with this dealership. A recent small factory problem with my Santa Fe was dealt with promptly. I was called, everything was thoroughly explained and any questions were answered and followed up by the manager.
For oil change and regular maintenance, I am now able to book online for a time that is convenient for me. This is confirmed quickly by email.

Over the past 2 years I have purchase 2 vehicles from Milton Hyundai and get my cars services there. I find the staff and management very professional and helpful. I always get a warm and friendly greeting. There was a problem with one of my vehicles from the factory and they notified me at the oil change and they were able to squeeze me in the same day to fix it. The place is very clean and organized. Sometimes I sit in the waiting room with my laptop and connect through their WIFI so I can still do work. I'd be hard pressed to suggest anything to improve other than make it free ... LOL
