Worse service ever ! It took 3 weeks to get my car (was suppose to be 3 to 5 days )
After 3 km the "new car " that was suppose to be inspected fromA to Z (cost me 900 $ on my financig) it left me on the middle of the street !!
Plus on top of that when u pay 25 .000 $ for a car and the bumper is all scratch and broke MAYBE U SHOULD GET A DISCOUNT or free fix with no excuses !
I lost a day of work , my time and trust on this place

I just Purchased my very first VW Tiguan from Grenier. I had excellent service from A to Z the sales man Marco was friendly and got me a great deal and I received my vehicle super quick even with the shortages. Marilyn was extremely competent and did an amazing job to find me a lower interest and make sure to stick with my budget for add ons. I didn’t feel pressured to buy anything more. And Finally Jeremy did an excellent job at delivery . He took the time to show me all the little details and features . He made sure I was able to drive off with my phone paired to the car and my carnet set up! Super super super service!!!! I will be back for the maintenance of my beautiful Tiguan ! So far I have great experience with grenier vw mascouche especially with Mya she made me feel at ease. I came there stress because my french is not very good but she did her best to accomodate me, we acquire second hand electric vehicle from them. No bad experience with them and happy that we went to grenier vw.

Unprofessional. Did not call me at the time they scheduled and then stopped responding altogether. When I called, the receptionist would not speak english and hung up the phone on me. Follow the other negative reviews and go somewhere else.

Unimpressed by service, egotistic sales team (the ones i met) and ripped me off on the $2000 guarantee (now costs $3000). I paid for the extended guarantee to be covered until 100,000km. I came to see them right before my guarantee ended because I had been feeling a problem with my suspension. They told me there was no problem. 2 weeks later i came to see them because the problem worsened, i was around 100,500km and they said they could repair the problem for $1075+tax. I said i knew they could help me out considering I NEVER used a penny of my guarantee, and because i came to get the problem fixed BEFORE 100,000km. They said there’s nothing they can do for me and it was too bad. I literally gave them $2000 for that guarantee for absolutely no reason at all. My brother bought a car there a few weeks ago, they now raised the price to $3000.
Bought my car about 4 years ago. Havent had unusual problems with the car, but this review is for GRENIER Volkswagen dealership; not Volkswagen as a car company.
Will not be buying another car here unless the guarantee is free. Feel like i got robbed of a $2000 guarantee.
PS: the repair they wanted to charge me $1075+tax for, i got it done by another mechanic for $450 tax-in. These guys are thieves it’s disgusting.
UPDATE: Director of sales gave me a call. He didnt have the attitude of someone trying to help/make a customer satisfied; he was just trying to invalidate my review which was a terrible way to handle an unhappy customer. I speak french but sometimes have trouble finding my words, so i asked « do you speak any english » his answer, in french « on est a Mascouche donc je va m’exprimer en français » (we live in mascouche so im going to speak in french). Didn’t know he wanted to be geopolitical about helping a client, not to mention the fact that HE called ME; i wasn’t the one who wanted to talk, HE was. He did speak in english a couple minutes later, and spoke perfect english. He just didn’t WANT to earlier in the conversation because of political reasons. Clearly wasn’t doing his best to adapt to his client. He never offered me ANYTHING to try and change my mind. NOTHING. Not a free oil change, not free tire storage, not even a discount on anything. NOTHING. 30min phone call was nothing but an arrogant tone trying to validate why i got such poor service. Already wasn’t impressed with Grenier Volkswagen, now I will shop 1 hour away for my next car before i step foot in Grenier Volkswagen 5 min away from my house. If anyone in management is reading this, maybe consider hiring staff with a better notion of customer service because this phone call didnt brighten my review on Grenier Volkswagen; it made it worse.
PS: im not someone who just leaves 1star/2star reviews to hurt reputations. My reviews are honest; i have more positive reviews on my profile than bad ones. This place of business was just that bad of an experience.

Bait and switch, non negotiable, upsells warranty, insurance, winter tires, all added to the total to be financed, lining their pockets with huge profits. Avoid like Covid19

I bought a Used car at this dealership, the car works fine but the Customer service is horrible. I don't want to generalize, i did have a good service from the Sales perspective, and the first salesperson was great and helped me even after my purchase. However the main Salesman Michel kept reassuring me and explained me the full VIP treatment for the car and how it would be inspected and all. I was never able to get the actual Inspection report from after the purchase, i was given on that they did 2 months ago, because they sold the car before and the transaction broke down. So basically they Sold me something they had already done without ever mentioning it. So regardless if I paid or not I get the same service, no transparency at all, how can you sell something promising benefits that are already there.
The worst part is I had to call them multiple times, every time they said they would call me back, well guess what they never called me back EVER!!!!! I spoke to Michael Morin , he transfered me to his director Danik and same thing. Last conversation I had i asked for the new Inspection report and nobody every reached back again, I am happy about the car, but making me pay 599$ and promising me things that were already done is unacceptable. To explain this they told me some soft stories about how some paperwork is only available after it's purchased and they didn't know, If you sell a car then 2 months later resell it you should know all work done to the car and mention it instead of trying to sell a service that was already done.
I wouldn't recommend going to this dealership, find a more honest one, if you really do make sure to ask to see the paperwork before buying. And I hope Grenier takes the feedback and realizes Customer service basic in 2020 is calling back your customers and not making them call 4-5 times and keep waiting.
I recently bought my first car at Volkswagen Grenier Mascouche. I was dreading the experience and was pleasantly surprised at my experience here. From the moment I walked in I was treated kindly. The salesman, Marco, was kind, patient and understanding; he listened to all of my criteria and helped me understand a few things about buying a car that I did not know beforehand. When it was my appointment to pick up the car, I dealt with Megan. She was wonderful and made it really personal and exciting to be leaving with my first car. The finance director, Alex (he was replacing Felix) was a real gem. He made sure that I understood the entire car buying process and explained everything to me. He always made sure that if I had any questions that he could answer them to the best of his abilities. He was with me through every step of the process. The first day that I brought the car home, I got a flat tire in a construction zone. Alex ensured that everything was taken care of and my car was ready the next day. I was so impressed. The tow truck even came to my workplace to pick up my car keys. I couldn't imagine having had a smoother first car buying experience. I am so grateful to have gone here.
I had a good experience buying a 2018 Golf R from Volkswagen Grenier.
They ended up changing the air filter, the front brake disks, the rear brake pads and replaced the front and rear washers for free. When I asked about some chips on the passenger side wheels, they offered to reconstruct the wheels at cost.

One example look at the review below this review on Google . "Bait and switch kind of place" (In Ontario there are laws) and further consider my experience regarding disclourse. Seems something you or your loved ones would want to avoid
I cant even begin my search with, Grenier , understanding disclosure of facts as I requested a carfax report and the dealership refuses to email for disclosure in advance.

Got my first car there. I live quite far from there (1-2 hours drive), and I regret nothing. Our seller, Hachem Grari, was transparent and understanding of our need and restraint. The sales director, Danik Lariviere, was humble and also understanding when negotiating. There were no surprise when getting the car. I've been driving the car for the past week. No problem for now. I highly recommend going over there. I felt no pressure from anyone. Great first experience.
Absolutely terrible experience here. Do not buy the 2015 mini countryman. Over $3500 in repairs to do after taking to a professional Mini inspection. They told me on the phone there were no repairs on the vehicle that were needed so I drove all the way to Mascouche from Montreal. I get there for the test drive and they hadn't even conducted their own inspection- very unprofessional. Had to deal with 3 different people trying to upsell guaranties and VIP service without showing contracts or providing explanation. I went to pick up the vehicle for purchase after refusing both and got smacked with an $899 charge for aesthetic improvement to the vehicle. When refusing to pay, they refused to sell me the vehicle because I only refused the service over the phone. I would like to hear the recordings. Never seen anything like this before. Bait and switch kind of place. Steer clear. I've never had such a terrible purchasing experience to date.
After having gone through a bad experience, we stopped by VW Grenier to look at a Tiguan. Michaël Morin helped us find the perfect SUV and was very transparent and open from the beginning. At the time of delivery, he was very patient when addressing our specific needs, remained professional the entire time and available until well past the dealership closed to ensure that our experience went smoothly and that we were happy with our purchase. They took a week to get the pre approval from the bank for a used car, However, they couldn't get acceptance from the bank at the end though I ve good credit historic.
I put a deposit for it then I txted them that I am not intrested in the car, coz they took long time for the pre approval & they asked for bureaucracy papers 😑 ( by the way I gave them everything they need )
The seller told me they will arrange something for me, But at the end they sold the car that I liked behind my back without any call from them !
If you really care about customers
don't be greedy, you should care about the customer services before the money !

Recently bought a pre owned vehicle Volkswagen Grenier. I had amazing service from beginning to end and I highly recommend this place to others.
Bought my Jetta a month and half ago, and bought my winter tires with it, which they suggested they keep for me until the time comes to change them. Unfortunately, I got into an accident 3 weeks after I bought the car, and it was deemed total loss. I called their service department to explain the situation and asked them to refund me the tires since I never got them yet, so they jumped on the opportunity to send me to speak to a sales person, instead of a manager, which I only realzed that after talking to the guy a for some time. Anyway, they refuse to refund the full amount claiming that they won't be able to sell them again for whatever reason even though we are in a high season for winter tires, however if I buy another car from them, everything is possible. I asked to speak to a manager and the salesman told me he will let him call me back, he never did... I tried to call again and left a voice message but he still never called... Very greedy, wanting to make money on products they didn't delivered. Very disapponting experience, especially that they want you to believe that they are the best.

My son bought a car there and everything went well until we went to pick up the car. The salesman, William Morel, sold his private car through the dealership and promised a cash back amount of one of the taxes since it was his private car. When my son picked up the car he bought, the cheque for the amount that William owed him was not ready! Right there - unprofessional . It is now 2 weeks that William has been giving my son the run around saying that the cheque was mailed. Yet, still haven't received anything!!! Again very unprofessional. To top it all off, when he left with his new car - there was barely any gas in the car (the engine light went on)! In all my years of buying cars, I have never seen anything so CHEAP! In conclusion , this reflects the service quality you get when you buy a car at Grenier Volkswagen - so I suggest you bring your business elsewhere!!!!!

You can text me the contact information of the person responsible in this matter. Note that 1 FOB key 1 valet was supplies for the vehicle I purchased on Feb 20, 2019. Further you can see it has taken over a month for Grenier to offer a courtesy call. I am certain that the 1 star reviews are creating some negativity on your service here. I purchases a 2015 year vehicle and only 1 FOB and 1 valet key when there should be 2bof each. For your information I paid $18,000 for the vehicle and not $1,800 which would be understand to get one FOB key.

Lots of favorable google reviews got me travelling to this dealership from downtown Montreal. Buying my vehicle here I can say that the experience was better than most other dealerships I dealt with. They don't negotiate and whatever price you see on the website or internet is the selling price. My only beef was the vehicle I purchased after taking possession and finding out at home has only 1 FOB key and 1 valet key. Trying to get another FOB key is another 400.00 which I feel should have been included with the purchase of the vehicle. Make sure you ask them how many keys you will be getting to prevent this from happening to you.

Pour ma part, je peux dire que j'ai été vraiment insatisfaite du service reçu. J'y suis allée pour acheter une Jetta d'occasion et il n'ont aucune marge de négociation! J'ai finalement signée quand même pour tout canceller le jour de la livraison : Incident CarProof non mentionné par le vendeur, partie du concessionnaire sans copie de mon contrat, livraison le mercredi à 18:00 et le jour même, il est midi et on ne m'a même pas téléphoné pour me donner le numéro de série du véhicule pour les assurances.. Je demande un rabais supplémentaire sur le prix du véhicule puisqu'il y a un CarProof, on me propose des tapis d'hiver. Je décide de tout canceller. Et devinez quoi.. 3 semaines plus tard le véhicule que j'avais acheté est 1000$ de moins sur leurs site!!!
Services d'entretiens médiocre. Aucune courtoisie. Aucun professionnalisme, ne connait pas leur produit ni la garantie.
Faites très attention à la garantie VIP que l'on vous proposera, on n'a jamais utilisé la nôtre car le véhicule a été déclaré perte totale avant même qu'elle soit entrée en vigueur, VW refuse toute discussion ou compromis à ce propos. Pire encore, on nous avait promis des taux d'intérêt très avantageux si on prenait cette garantie, et on a eu droit aux taux standard offert à tous les autres clients... Mais c'est entièrement de notre faute, nous avons été naifs et n'avons pas vérifié que ce que l'on nous a promis a été appliqué avant de signer. Donc, méfiez-vous!
