Didn’t fix the recall and lied on the inspection report, horrible service! I brought my car in for an airbag recall fix and my steering wheel controls were not working. They told me they fixed it but said there is still an airbag light so I can book another service in the future. When I reminded them I had warranty, they knew what part I needed and I wouldn’t need another diagnosis (interesting that I only needed another diagnosis if I was out of warranty?). It gets worse...I picked up my car and was shown the inspection, I was told that my car worked perfectly. The car horn is still not working but they checked on the report that it does work. Airbag and horn are major safety issues, they allowed a vehicle under warranty to leave with neither in working order. They did not fix what they said they did (airbag and steering wheel controls), they threatened me with paying for another service to diagnose the problem and then lied on the inspection report about the horn working when it does not. How hard is it to actually test the car horn? Obviously too much work for VW! I’m disgusted. I bought a vw because it’s safe and Cambridge Service has left me with a very unsafe vehicle.

I had purchased my new 2019 Jetta from this dealership and had great service through the sales services. I’ve had my vehicle now for 1 year and have had nothing but problems from the services. Very rude staff in the service department and they do NOT do all the services they sign off for. I paid 315$ for a medium service and various things were not completed. Very unimpressed and will not be returning to this dealership and suggest other people go to a different location!

I contacted the Parts Department as I’m doing a project for my son’s first birthday and required VW decals for it. Eric from Parts was extremely nice and helpful; he went over and beyond looking for the adhesive decals I required through catalogs and what they currently had in stock and even went to the showroom to measure the VW logo on one of the vehicles they currently had to assure it was the size I needed. We showed up the morning after an ice storm (unannounced) to test drive an Atlas that they had in stock... it was buried in the back and it took a team of them to dig it out (over an hour). They asked if we wanted to wait- we went for coffee and came back to test drive it. They all had a great attitude in spite of the situation.

We fell in love with the vehicle. Manny was our sales guy - put us at ease, no pressuring sales tactics, simply down to earth and easy to deal with. Any questions we had were answered and our needs were met. Financing details were easy, pickup was smooth with a detailed run through on how to use the system of the vehicle. Kyla helped us with financing forms and any extra questions and we were followed up less than a week later with a phone call to make sure everything was going well and checking if we had any questions.

I would go back to this dealership in a heartbeat. I have had bad experiences with car buying experiences at other dealerships, this was by far my best experience.

Cambridge Volkswagen - one of the last beacons of hope for customer service (a dying art).

I looked for a Golf R for some time. Due the rarity of the car in the condition I waned, I worked with and visited 5 different VW/Other dealers spanning across southern Ontario (Windsor, London, Cambridge, Scarborough). Not even one, came close to the level of service and friendship Bryan Sarty at Cambridge Volkswagen provided. I test drove new and used Rs, pragmatic price analysis drew me to a used vehicle still carrying a balance of powertrain warranty.

Unfortunately all 3 of the used Rs tested had a slipping clutch to varying degrees (a common problem on Rs not covered under warranty -consumable part). Each dealer reacted quite differently upon the delivery of this news, the worst of which (Formula Honda) denied there was a problem. After I demanded they see for themselves, admitted the problem was severe but there was nothing they could do for me when asked if they could repair and meet halfway since I had driven 4.5hr to see the car after a week long correspondence with the dealer "That's the risk a customer takes when they come to a dealer" was the response I received. The next day they lowered the price $500, poised to sell to an unwitting buyer no doubt. An absolute dichotomy from Formula Honda, Cambridge Volkswagen apologized profusely for the concern firmly stating this issue was not acceptable and the vehicle would be repaired completely without an increase in the purchase price before it would be sold, Bryan even offered to make a 2.5hr round trip to bring the car closer to me for delivery. I upped the ante and asked if I could pay the difference to upgrade the the Audi TTRS clutch and pressure plate (a common upgrade) and to my surprise Cambridge responded with YES!

Bryan delivered the car to me almost a week ago now and it has been completely flawless, the upgraded clutch is fantastic - stiffer and a bit more grab than the original part in any of the Rs I have driven but very OEM feel. I shipped the clutch friction disk to Cambridge VW at my own cost because it was not available to Canadian dealers for some reason, Cambridge ordered and paid for the pressure plate, throw out bearing, all torque to yield fasteners, and has not asked for compensation! I will report back if anything changes but at this time they actually exceed the original deal, and covered most of the upgraded part cost!

Thanks for taking the time to read my novel! I don't normally post reviews but felt compelled to in this case. Save yourself the time and stress I went through and head straight to Cambridge Volkswagen, they are worth the drive.

Great service; took my 2018 VW Atlas in for an oil change and they were great, so much so I then purchased new snow tires from them and had them installed on Tuesday. Everyone is very friendly and helpful, so much that the service adviser even filled out the tire rebate paperwork for me to send in to Continental Tire. I will definitely be back to this dealership for all my service work, they really know how to treat a customer and their parts and service pricing is very reasonable so there is no need to waste time 'calling around'.

Had an excellent sales experience with Bryan (one of Cambridge VW's sales reps) recently when trading in my car. Bryan and co were very attentive to all of my questions/concerns throughout the entire process. I also appreciated the relaxed atmosphere that the dealership maintains, as I never felt pressured into making decisions that I was not comfortable with making yet. Furthermore, they were able to quickly find and return some sensitive paperwork that I had left in my old car.

Overall, if you are looking for a dealership that places an emphasis on integrity and customer satisfaction, I highly recommend checking out Cambridge VW. I'm already looking forward to dealing with them again when it comes time to trade in, down the road (pun intended).

Had amazing experience financing 2019 Jetta. Victor was truly experienced, kind and supportive salesman. He understands your needs and does not push to get certain trims options etc. He clearly shows all the small fees, not ripping off customers like some other car dealerships. You will never find "dealer added accessories" that you never knew about. Also, Kyla Fair, a financial manager makes customers feel great about getting a new car and never push to get the unwanted extended warranties. She respects what the customers wants and give the personal space to consider the offers. I have contacted all VW dealerships within 50km, and this was the best dealership you could ever find.

I'm very happy that I decided to go to Cambridge Volkswagen to purchase my car. I currently live out of town in London and I was in the market for a Volkswagen CC. I was looking at cars at other dealerships narrowing down my options. I took a trip to Cambridge Volkswagen where I met Victor. He was very knowledgeable and accommodating to what I was looking for. I saw the car I wanted, test drove it and loved it. I decided to go with it and before I knew it I was financed and on my way. All members of the staff at Cambridge Volkswagen were amazing and very helpful. I was pleased that I purchased the car directly from the Volkswagen dealership rather than going elsewhere. Unfortunately, I had an issue with a front headlight that was needing a replacement after only having the car for 1 week... It turned out that the car I have has high end parts so it would be a pretty pricey replacement (especially after just buying the car). I called Victor and told him the situation. He was very helpful and understanding of my situation and wanted to help. He spoke to his management team at Cambridge Volkswagen and they were able to schedule me for an appointment to correct the issue. Amazing customer service! You know, in life things can happen from time to time without fault or reason but it's how a company responds and reacts to these things in efforts to help is what sets them apart from the others. Cambridge Volkswagen stood by their product and wanted me to be happy. I’m sure that I wouldn't have gotten such amazing customer service if I had gone anywhere else. I will recommend Cambridge Volkswagen to everyone. They really stand by their vehicles and take the customer into consideration. Well Done!

I have been a part of the Cambridge VW family for several years now after buying a first Jetta and then following later with an upgraded Jetta. I say the Cambridge VW "family" because everytime I visit the dealership I feel extremely welcomed and the conversations I have with the staff make me feel as though I am included in the discussion and it's not about the dealership trying to check tasks off of their lists. Just this last oil change when I visiting there were 5, yes FIVE dealership staff members who acknowledge me by name and another staff member to whom I was newly introduced. These guys are lifesavers! My car's window was broken while being repaired at a different shop (it was stuck down and wouldn't roll up). After being told it was a dealer part only, I called my local VW dealership in Burlington and they couldn't fit me in for a whole week. I don't have a garage so I didn't have anywhere to leave my car safely parked with the window rolled down, so I called this dealership and spoke with Mitch, who was so incredibly nice and helpful. He was able to take my car that day (he even stayed a bit late so I could talk to him when I arrived a few minutes after he supposed to leave) and my car was fixed the by the next afternoon. I am so thankful they were able to help me out so fast and treated me like such a valuable customer. I will gladly make the 45 minute drive if I ever need their assistance again!
