We bought our Jetta from Hub City Motors, and I intitially thought it was a good experience. Our Salesman specifically told me all accessories purchases at the time of sale were covered under a lifetime warranty. A couple of years after I bought the car, the bug deflector cracked. When I took it in, the parts / service manager told me the deflectors weren't covered under warranty. I contacted the Canadian distributor for the bug deflector and was told there was full replacement warranty, and that Hub City Motors knew that. When I went back, the parts / service manager claimed to have not known there was a lifetime warranty, and still made me pay postage on the replacement deflector before they would cover it. After that, I took it in for a recall issue and when it came back the plastic engine cover was cracked and what appeared to be hot glued together. I took it back, and the parts / service manager did give me a different used one, but it should have never left their shop like that. Last year we had rust issues on the trunk and outside of one fender (actually inside both fenders were rusted and rotten but I did not know that at he time). The car still had a couple of months of paint warranty coverage. VW Canada covered the trunk, but they would not cover the front fender problems. VW Canada stated mud flaps were the cause, and voided the warranty. The mud flaps Hub City Motors installed on the vehicle while it was in their yard, before it was ever test driven voided the warranty on the fenders. The salesman at the time of purchase told me they install mud flaps on every car that they sell in Prince George. What he didn't tell me was it was going to void the paint warranty on the fenders. Beware, make sure everything is in writing from the salespeople, because in my experience with Hub City Motors, they will not honour what the salespeople will tell you after the sale is complete.
One of my lights was out. I was in town today (I'm from the Robson Valley) and they fit me in right then. Even did a quick wash of my vehicle. Such great service!

Update: the owner reached out less than an hour after I posted this review and apologized. He gave me a free full car detailing to use whenever I please. Was very kind and apologetic, definitely made me feel better about the whole experience!
Most of my experiences have been average I’d say. However, my last one was really not enjoyable. The lady I spoke to on the phone was quite accusatory and argumentative, saying the reason my ignition was broken was MY fault because I put WD40 in it and that they couldn’t do anything about it because of that. I had problems with this part before so we used the lubricant as a last resort to try and get the key to turn one final time before we decided it needed a tow. I was also told it was going to cost X amount for parts and labour by the service manager, and when I noticed it was more than 100$ more when I went to pay she argued that that the amount I was told was only for the part, which was incorrect as the service manager fixed the mistake. There was a few other things that happened that really made my experience quite negative, which is really disappointing because I see all of these other positive reviews. I just wish I had received the same treatment and customer service as others seem to have had.
This Volkswagen dealership here in Prince George, BC has a lot of beautiful cars on the lot. One of the most interesting vehicle that caught our eye was the 2021 VW Atlas V6 SUV. The Atlas drives very smooth and is a very luxurious vehicle.

Recently bought a Volkswagen from a coastal dealership and as soon as I got it home it started having issues. Hub City was my closest VW dealer so I booked with them for a full inspection and they were absolutely amazing. I dropped off my car and a curtesy vehicle was ready and waiting. They ordered parts and I had a 2nd apt to complete the repairs. Again they had a curtesy vehicle ready and waiting, I was helped right away. Hub City fixed everything on my list and more to make sure I was leaving in a completely safe and reliable vehicle. They blew my expectations, I will highly recommend. The staff and service is impeccable.
Hub city has always been where I go for parts for my old Volkswagens, but now I've had to upgrade to a new car twice as my family keeps getting bigger. They've helped me out more than words can say. I purchased a vehicle at Hub city last year, mainly because of the involvement they have in the community. However I feel like I needed to write a review after reading the disgusting comments from Tanya MacDonald in regards to "foreign worker" and his attitude. I've had nothing but positive experiences with this dealership (including said worker), they gave me a fair price and even if its not a steal, I know that at least some of my money is going back in the community. We're all facing challenges during these times, but assuming that the business got rid of everyone and kept a foreign worker based on the colour of his skin is just classless. I would give this review a 5 star for my experience earlier in the year. My husband and I had two wonderful women help us, answer all our questions, they both exceeded our expectations.
Recently when returning to purchase my new vehicle, we were shocked to discover all the sales staff are gone except for their foreign worker. We went to Hubcity because they are locally owned and big supporters in our community, with the intention of keeping money in our economy. We thought it would be a seamless transaction as we already trusted the sales lady. However, both my husband and myself found the fellow rather arrogant, we ended up leaving the dealership with a bad taste in our mouths. Its shameful the owners have little regard for their staff, and I certainly do not buy the covid layoff excuse either as the dealership was rather busy! Us old fogies would like to deal with who we already know and trust.
I am the proud owner of my new cross sport thanks to a quick trip to the okanagan. If you are in the market for a VW, I recommend you head south!

Brought my older Volvo in for a four wheel alignment. Price was reasonable, it was scheduled quickly and done right. Car now tracks perfectly and the steering wheel is straight ahead when the car is traveling straight ahead. They provided me a copy of the before and after settings and there was many adjustments made. Staff is friendly and I would not hesitate to return.

The vehicle Itself is streamline, handles really well and features a very modern interior, But ultimately it was the sales team that drew us in! I have honestly never dealt with such an amazing dealership in Prince George. We’ve had them all, every brand of car you can think of, and by far Hub City Volkswagen is the best! Such a high quality luxury vehicle and excellent service to match. The process of buying a vehicle was simple and not forced at all.
I’m incredibly picky when buying a vehicle and test drove every make, model and trim level in town before going to VW. All those dealerships products were okay and the staff friendly but I had been there before, and the service after the sale was far from amazing. I can SO comfortably say I made the best decision in April by far when choosing my 2019 Tiguan R-Line.
My exterior is perfect, interior is exactly what I wanted, even down to every last feature I wanted, I got! The vehicle had all those one (extremely materialistic) wants and needs I wanted that completely checked everything off my list, instead of having to improvise.
Matt in service and Braden in parts are incredible and both of them are so knowledgeable, making that part of the dealership, awesome! Stacey is amazing and was a big part of the sale, as she had the same vehicle as I bought and answered SO many of my questions. Sunny, one of the owners, was so personable and was present during the entire sale! All down to John who sold me the car and did my financing for the new SUV-VW! All between financing clients, John helped me pick my colour, model and everything.
Which leads me to one of the best parts of this dealership is the fact when you go in there, they continue to earn your business! You’re not just a sale, they take care of you during service. I may or may have not gotten ripped off. To extrapolate:
I got a glow plug replacement, and ended up getting talked into getting all 4 of them replaced.
I was told later by someone that I trust that you shouldn't bother doing this as they rarely go out. Of course, the cost of doing each is quite high as well. I also lost 3 perfectly good glow plugs going by this logic.
Otherwise, everything else about the service was spot on.
Just a warning to anyone who is car-illiterate to have someone that is easily accessible who can give you a second opinion (Particularly when your car is in the middle of being operated on and you receive a call to make on the spot decisions)
We recently purchased a used car through Stacey Wright with Hub City Volkswagen in Prince George, B.C. We were impressed with the professional way Stacey worked with us. She listened to our concerns about the car and our budget and dealt with each item in a methodical and quick manner. Even though we could see that Stacey and all the other staff were very busy they spent as much time with us as we needed to feel comfortable with our purchase.

But at Hub City, My sales person did a great job matching me with a vehicle, I informed her of what payments I was able to make... and they worked hard to make it happen!
