Last week, I was unfortunate enough to have run over a bolt which pierced through my right rear tire and rim. As a result, I was without a car! It was unknown how long it would take for the rim to be shipped as the dealership did not have one in stock. I was assured by a colleague that Matt Low would take great care of me which he did. I would just like to say a special thank you to Matt for going above and beyond in customer service to ensure that I got my car back sooner than expected. It is always a pleasure working with people who can exceed your expectations.
I've bought 2 GTi's from here, my son bought a Golf R and his girlfriend bought a Golf too, all a few years back now but I would buy from them again. The guys here are great to deal with, friendly, straight talking and no pressure. Only reason I didn't buy a 3rd time was that I fancied a change. I recommend this place to anyone who wants to buy VW!

Matt and the whole team are very professional, friendly, and communicative when it comes to repairs and parts needed. I also have to point out how professional the team handles social distancing in the current situation.
Great service and always welcoming. They always ensure you are consistently updated during service, and people like Matt always check up on you a few days later to ensure everything is going well with the car and if its not, they are willing to squeeze you in to take a look.
I feel compelled to leave this review. My wife and I didn't actually buy a vehicle from South Centre Volkswagen, we ended up buying a different vehicle elsewhere, but that had nothing to do with our experience or the staff. Quite the opposite, of the four dealerships we dealt with, Alex Strid and South Centre Volkswagen left us with the best impression and gave us the best experience. We particularly loved that they allowed us to test drive their vehicles alone. Alex was completely transparent with vehicle pricing and sales and it showed. We only regret that they didn't possess the particular vehicle we decided to go with. Thank you for everything!
I would never buy a used car from this dealership, especially if safety is your concern. There was a wheel bearing issue when we drove the vehicle off the lot, which is suppose be “inspected” on the 112 point inspection and condition report. They also happened to miss the fact that one of the tires on the vehicle is bubbled from being driven on while it was flat, which is not only unsafe, but now is going to cost us even more money, which was also checked off as “no visible damage” to the tires on said inspection report. They should probably hire mechanics that actually inspect the vehicle, instead of just driving it around the block and say its good to go.
Wonderful experience from start to finish. Just downgraded my expensive Audi to a cute VW Tiguan and Alex, Darren and the boys took care of me from start to finish. Both times I have brought my new-to-me car in, I have been immensely happy with the service and how upfront and honest the staff are about what needs to be done and what it will cost. Explanations were clear and staff made sure I understood but I never felt talked down to (happens sometimes as a woman when dealing with cars). Service was prompt. South Centre Volkswagen turned out to be a pleasure to deal with. Following a poor experience inquiring about a purchase at a dealership much closer to where I live and work, South Centre made sure my needs were met right away. My salesman, Trevor, got me the info I needed right away, and even went the distance to drive the vehicle I was interested in to the dealership I work at so my own technician could inspect the car before I committed to buying.

Just a short note to thank Chad at the VW service department for taking care of minor issue with horn. I had no appointment but Chad and the "techs" were able to take the time, lunch time, to have a look and resolve this issue. It may not sound like a big deal but there are not a lot of places that will even look at such a minor problem without an appointment! Thanks all, customer service is still alive in some places.
Once again the dealership went above and beyond! The service adviser (Elliott) was very helpful and kept us up to speed on our repairs. And also made sure that if the repairs weren't done intime we had some way to get home. Seeing that we live 2hours away. Thanks again!
I have dealt with several different Volkswagen dealerships since purchasing my first Volkswagen in 2014 and have to say that this dealership is definitely #1 for service. Most recently they were able to get my car diagnosed, repaired and back to me within 24 hours of a breakdown - AND it was just after the New Years holiday with limited staff. I am always 100% satisfied with the service from this dealership and will continue to have my servicing done here.

I recently had my 2012 Golf in for service and Matt was amazing. Great communication, great information, and a clean car at the end. I highly recommend Matt and the entire team at Southcentre's service department.
I've bought two cars from this dealership and each year I get further into my relationship with them it gets worse. Never thought I would say this, but the VW is not worth it when it is such a hassle to keep the car maintained. Just the lack of attention to detail in the mechanics for simple top-ups when I bring the car in for servicing should make anyone think twice. Don't get me wrong the customer facing staff are helpful and try, but I cringe every time I need to deal with something for my car as it is just a long process for something so simple.

Just fantastic customer service by Charlene @ South Centre Volkswagen. My vehicle has required very little outside of the standard maintenance in 2 years of ownership, but I go out of my way to take it to this location. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend that any VW owners do the same. Charlene and staff have always made it easy, which is saying a lot for the typical inconvenience of vehicle servicing in a busy weekday work schedule.
I would give ZERO or negative stars if I could. For those looking/interested in purchasing the 2011 Audi S4, good luck and be prepared to shell out an additional 2-3k to spend on fixing the vehicle. I had a terrible customer experience with a sales rep (Alex) as well as the sales manager (Brad). I came in to purchase the 2011 Audi S4 and was almost ready to buy it until I found out the fenders were replaced, the brakes needed to be done, a new set of summer tires were required, rotors were pretty much done as well and the car definitely does not have a clean title even though they provided a “clean” car fax. Also, the sales guy Alex said he would get the damage on the bumper fixed free of cost OR take an additional $700 off the original price but the next day the manager (Brad) over-ruled the decision and straight up said no without making any accommodations or compromise. Also, when you offer and agree to giving $ off or agreeing to fix something, it should be honored, not "over-ruled".
No wonder they want to make a quick sale out of the “lowest priced S4 in Alberta” so they don’t have to spend time and money to fix all the issues with the car. The people working there have no consideration for your time and are just trying to burn a hole through your wallet. Save your time and money and go elsewhere to people who actually know how to treat their customers right without providing false information. I would never go back here even if you gave me a million bucks.

After test driving 5 different vehicles at 4 different dealerships, a friend recommended trying the Atlas. With the poor and pushy service received over the course of the buying process I had low expectations going to South Centre Volkswagen.
After spending a few minutes browsing, Matt came over. Matt was very helpful answering any questions I had and knowledgeable about current promotions and offerings going on.
It was Matts demeanour and genuine caring about getting me the features I wanted with the budget I set out that I was sold on.
I recommend the Atlas to anyone who asks about it and to go see Matt at South Centre Volkswagen, it was the best dealership experience I have ever had!

We bought an Atlas in Dec 2018 through Emmari at this dealership and the service was awesome. There is a strong team here with a great customer service attitude, and they go above and beyond to make sure the sale goes well and with the after-care. Plus, the Atlas is a fantastic car and a great price! We can't recommend Emmari highly enough, we will definitely buy future cars from here.
Took my Honda element in to get paint protection film installed. The staff were wonderful! Sean referred me and Josh was able to get me in and out promptly. Everyone was super freindly and the job was done perfectly. After my experience I would definitely recommend south centre VW if you need work on any vehicle!

Tyler/Sean stepped up and came and got things done in a timely manor. If not all the problem i had at the beginning and things communicated better from the start to myself and my insurance company. The final bill was 3500.00 and to forget to tell the customer about this many repairs should never had happened. For this reason i think its only fair to leave a 3/5 if things were addressed at the start and things were handled better they would have got a 4.5-5. I hope my car is fixed and i have many more years with it. thanks again

Our car was serviced great and even washed! This is full cycle service that is not seen these days at most service centers from my experience at other places. I have been in contact with the manager Tyler and he has been very helpful in addressing my concerns. He looked into the service I received that day and was able to address what may have gone wrong. He has made steps to reassure me and restore my confidence.
I brought my car into the dealership yesterday for an oil change and the service was much better. Alyssa was very helpful in explaining an issue with my tires and checked for any recalls my vehicle may have had.
I was happy with my service.

It has taken me awhile to write this review but I feel I need to warn fellow VW owners about the service I received. I have had multiple issues with this dealership but one event in particular left me absolutely shocked.
I went in for an oil change and was told my car had an oil leak (despite not seeing any oil on my parking pad). I stated I was going to get a second opinion and took my car to a mechanic in my community. This mechanic said whoever did my oil change spilled oil ALL over my car (which he generously cleaned up to the best of his ability) and the so called oil leak was the dripping oil from what was spilled. I will NEVER be bringing my car back to this dealership.
Thank you Southcentre Volkswagon! I love my new VW Wagon and am so glad that a friend suggested your dealership. Brendan, Tyler and Justin were very kind, easy to deal with and always made themselves available. I didn't feel pressured like I did at other dealerships. The atmosphere is also very inviting. I would definitely suggest going to see them if you are buying a VW!
My wife and I went in and were greeted by Jack Barbier, a very kind, friendly, no pressure sales person. I will be honest, when we went to the dealership, I was expecting the worst, as anyone who has every bought a new car can understand, the process can be painful. Not with Jack. He made the whole process completely painless, he knew that we might not buy the car (2015 Golf), but he still took the time to make sure that we were taken care of. Jack was the single most reason as to why we bought the car from South Centre VW. In my option, all sales people should be modeled around this man. Thanks Jack!

This is my first purchase through South Centre Volkswagen. The staff have always been helpful and the particular sales rep-Wilson who helps me was very knowledgeable and made the purchase simple and stress free and easy. The atmosphere at this dealership over the time I've been looking at their different models was never pushy and I felt comfortable and was given all the information I required to make the purchase on the right vehicle for me. It was fun and I'm very happy with the car-2015 GTI. The interest rates are great and the payment was affordable and it's a fantastic car. They even made my first scheduled apt for me immediately for follow up car service. I was able to purchase the car, and then see the finance department immediately afterwards which was simple and effortless transaction. I picked up the car next day as promised, and they took care of the registration and license plates. The delivery was fun and trouble free and explained about all the cars features and answered all my questions fully.
I've purchased over the years many BMW's and I'm glad I'm still in the German stable of cars, this being a nice change from past vehicles and the most fun I've had to drive yet.
This was my first Brand new car purchase. I purchased a 2014 VW Tiguan and I absolutely love the vehicle. The entire process was quick, easy, and the sales process had zero push. The sales rep (Wilson) was extremely informed and answered every single question I had. He was able to answer me in a way that was supportive and informed as opposed to an attitude of wasting his time.
The finance gentlemen (Justin) was just as awesome. He fully explained the finance contract, explained additional features, the warranty and didn't hide any last minute fees or anything. We were given the price we expected and the VW Finance Center got everything set-up effortlessly.
I can't say anything negative except for they somehow lost one of the keys to my VW but they ordered a new pair and will call me to get it set-up. Service is excellent. I fully recommend this dealership.
