Made some enquires about purchasing a vehicle today at Summerside Toyota that was no available in my home Province. I was told by a salesperson, vehicles are only being sold to residents of PEI. Wow, guess they don't want to sell vehicles and earn money. Thankfully, NS, NL or NB does NOT have this discriminatory policy!
If you intend on buying from this dealership(In which I was ready to purchase), definitely get ABSOLUTELY EVERYTHING in writing. After waiting almost three months for a vehicle to arrive only to have the negotiation fall through over a 1k discrepancy is a pretty big disappointment.

Brought my working car in for oil and an MVI, they had it 40 mins and I now have;
1) a check engine light
2) a car that shakes uncontrollably when I hit 60km/h

We needed to have the cam shaft tower oil leaks repaired on our Tundra. Mathieu was the service technician who ended up performing the repair, he did an excellent job communicating with us throughout. Mathieu suggested we also perform some preventative maintenance while the engines top end was mostly exposed. We agreed on replacing the primary cam chain tensioner and gasket. Great idea Mathieu, thanks!

From the day i first called Summerside Toyota checking on prices on a new vechile i was very impressed with the way i was received. When i spoke to Rob MacDougal it showed that he had great time for customers even from out of Provence.Rob passed me on to a lovely lady Helena Banks.Iwas once again welcomed with open arms. I had several conversations with Helena durning the purchase of my new tocoma. I had been wanting to purchase the new 2022 Tundra and finally decided to go ask about it!! The salesman was extremely helpful and told us that if we did order one it would be at least a 3 months wait.. So we decided to build/design the truck that would suit me best! Well obviously that took a bit but figured it out! We where waiting for the finance guy to call us for our information, Im assuming he did at the end of the day because I had a missed call about 15 minutes before they closed .So after the weekend/holiday I decided to text the salesman and ask if they where opened.. he said yes so then I asked about my missed call who might that be? He said I’ll check it might be blah blah.. I waited for a reply and thought they might be busy so I’ll wait and not bug too much.. so I waited and waited for days ..I didn’t want to harass I felt like a bother .. anyways just to let you know you lost a huge sale HUGE!! Decided well I guess we weren’t good enough so we went elsewhere and purchased a new Ram and a new Wrangler.
Thanks for forgetting about us and not even trying to follow up .. you definitely did us a huge favour! The other dealership was quick and determined to make a sale so they didn’t make us feel like we bothered them! And another thing the manager had so much fun driving the demo we couldn’t even see it!!

I booked the service one day ahead. The oil.change service was done for an hour. I could walk to the nearby Canadian Tire in a few minutes while waiting for.the service. Overall was good.

Was lied to and brushed off about multiple issues within my buying experience and when I reached out most recently and was promised a call back all he did was send a text to me saying he was unable to help. Not professional and a very poor experience.

My girlfriend and I are first time buyers, and were very nervous moving forward with such a large investment. I had contacted Helena about a used 2010 Tacoma of which she promptly replied to me about and arranged an appointment, and even stayed late to make sure we had all the right info. Helena was amazing at helping us find the right vehicle for the right price, at the right value, sending us home in a 2017 Tacoma that we never dreamed we could afford comfortably.
On the financing side, Charles was completely on point with our interests in terms of payments and extra costs such as extended warranty and undercoating. As a couple who appreciates finances being clear, concise, and fair, we once again couldn’t be happier with our experience.

Fantastic group of individuals to work with. Cindy, Spencer, and the entire service team kept me in the loop of what was happening with my truck while it was there. They even drove it back to Charlottetown and dropped it at my house after hours.

Free WI-fi. Coffee and such. Local shuttle service. The selection of vehicles on the lot is tremendous. They would have 300 units if they had one! Toyota is a safe, reliable, reputable brand. I wouldn't even think about going anywhere else. 10/10 would recommend!!
