Adam is an amazing service manager. Just bought a used scion frs from a Chrysler dealership and got locked out of my trunk because of the valet feature. Came to this dealership and got amazing help and one the best service I have received from car services. He went into the computer and popped the trunk open all done with urgency. UPDATED (see bottom): After an accident in the beginning of December, I was on the search for a new vehicle after my hand healed in January. I wanted to go back to a truck, and stopped by Whitby Toyota to test drive a new Tacoma. We ended up having Sandy help us with the test drive / purchase and we couldn't be happier! They had a TRD Pro on the lot that had been there for a while, and Sandy and Kim gave us a great deal. Everyone at the dealership has been great to deal with and I'm absolutely loving the new Taco!

UPDATE: Follow up communication could be better. I was in a serious accident with the truck a month after purchasing, and Kim was very nice, but other than that I received no further communication. No checking in, no interest in offering me a new vehicle, and this was after the truck had to go back in a few weeks after purchase due to the truck constantly steering to the right. The issue was still present after an alignment as well, which was supposed to fix the problem.

The fact that they still never reached out, and that the issue was never properly fixed, leaves me suspicious that maybe the vehicle wasn't in proper working order upon leaving the shop.

A smaller location that provides good customer service. They have a very friendly atmosphere at this Toyota.
Questions that I had were answered to the best of the employee's knowledge, and I got the service I needed.

I'll definitely be coming back here again.

Only thing is, I believe a slightly larger facility would help mitigate the midday traffic from clients coming in to do business. However, the staff still maintains it to run smoothly.

I recently bought 2019 Camry LE from this dealership and I love it so much. I walked in just to see what they can offer compare to other brands or dealerships I have been to and walked out with a car instead. Tony K was the best sales guy I’ve ever met. He was honest, respectful and just great in general, Keith did an amazing job even when their headquarters was challenging a bit, he was professional and promise to help me get what I want and that was exactly what he did. I’ve been driving my car for 10 days now with the free full tank of gas I got since picking it up and it feels great. Just wanted to share how kind and caring the Toyota service was with my elderly parents. I usually accompany them to service appts and was working last week when Dad was set on going in to speak to Service about his bumper and a noise. I called ahead and left a message which was promptly returned with " we will be looking out for your parents and take good care of them!" It was this act of kindness that I am grateful for ..something Steve didn't have to do but he choose to go above and beyond and its impact on this working Mom who was trying to balance work, home and caring for elderly parents- thank you Whitby Toyota - enjoy the chocolates !! I have received a quote from a shop online but I decided to visit Whitby Toyota because they do my car regular maintenance. I visited the part department, I spoke with a gentle by the name Keith O'Neil. He was nice and quoted / Match the price I got online with the new W90 with same set of rim on my Rav4 cost about $1,090 Tax included.

The owner Ian Kingsley and Service manager Tara Parsons went way over and above what I would have expected to help me out in every way possible. My sister bought a used car from this dealership and ended up writing it off 4 month later. We brought the insurance payment cheque ($14,000) into the dealership thinking we could drop it off to them - NOT; They would not take the cheque as it needed to be sent to Toyota Credit. Apparently Whitby Toyota do NOT send paperwork to Toyota Credit (via courier) AND they have made my sister take her cheque back and to send it to Toyota Credit herself; By doing this they are still making interest off my sister's purchase - she drove this vehicle for 4 months AND it cost her out of her pocket over $6,000 of her own money!!! Will NOT be buying from this dealership ever again (we bought a 2018 Toyota last year and referred my sister to buy from them :( )

Like any other Toyota dealership, they’re all a bunch of snobs that pretend that they don’t need your business. They just waste your time pretending they’re trying to get you a better deal but always come back with nothing. I tried buying a Toyota many times but arrogance (mostly at this location) makes me walk away. I bought my used Toyota Tundra at a dodge dealership. What does that tell you. I even brought it to this location the week I picked it up for an oil change and To make sure everything is up to date because it was only 2 years old and still under warranty. I also wanted to get them to notify Toyota of the name change so I can receive any updates or recalls and to register the extended warranty that the previous owner had on it. But 2 years later when I was locked out and needed emergency assistance and the 3 year 60k warranty expired, I found out that I didn’t have an extended warranty because they didn’t register it and it had passed the 90 day period of change of ownership so my warranty is no longer valid. I wonder if the $3000 that the previous owner paid for the extended warranty had expired as well. Any other car company , when you purchase an extended warranty and sell the car, the warranty stays with the car. I love my truck, I hate the company. I wish I could give it a zero stars. if you have to have a Toyota go to Clarington Toyota.

The worst customer service I’ve ever got! The only thing they are interested is to take your money, it doesn’t matter you are satisfied or not! I am sure Toyota Whitby is working hard to ruin the brand! They fixed the air conditioning last time and got more than $300, and the system doesn’t work and today they asked me to pay about $700 to fix their bad maintenance! I don’t recommend such place! I had a very bad experience with customer service, it was really nightmare. I left their place unsatisfied with their reactions and fake stories, nobody was care about my case.

I have always taken my 2016 Rav4 to get serviced at Whitby Toyota and was a huge fan of them until yesterday. I took my vehicle for some regular service and my tire changeover. Pretty simple stuff and the wait wasn't too bad. About 5 minutes after leaving I noticed a crack at the bottom of my windshield with the the impact point behind right behind the wiper blade which they had just replaced. Assuming this might have been just an accident I brought it back immediately and explained my situation. The customer service staff, Cameron, was awesome and took a look at it right away. He brought in his manager, Tara, who looked at my Rav and came and told me it was from a stone, probably when I drove off and that was it. When I asked if they will be taking any responsibility for it she simply replied no and that the technician that was working on my vehicle did not notice it. Its infuriating that the only option they were providing was a minor discount on replacing my windshield! How would a stone hit directly behind my wiper when driving, I mean lets use a little common sense on this one. Unfortunately my insurance won't cover this so I'll be out $700+ for this one. I know they won't miss my business but I'll be taking my vehicle elsewhere moving forward. So disappointing...

This review is solely in regards to the service department and how they had handled my last appointment there. Prior to this disaster I was going out of my way to come to this dealership for service, but I have no intentions of returning. There was a warranty item that was to be replaced free of charge but it would take longer than a day to replace. I had arranged to leave my car there for a full week to allow them enough time to complete the replacement, I was going on vacation and did not need it. I returned from my vacation and called to pick up my car. The dealership claimed they did not have my car. Pardon? They said they had the warranty part and were waiting for me to drop off my car. They were shocked to discover that they had my car. I picked up my car and tried to take the warranty part to a different Toyota dealership to do the replacement, as my trust in their ability to run a business had been reduced to zero. They told me some story that because the part was covered under warranty they needed to do the work to cover the labour costs under the warranty process. I now had to arrange the time to leave my car there for another extended period of time to complete the replacement, after some more back and forth I was able to convince them to provide me with a rental car for the duration of the replacement, this was not easily done. The replacement was completed and I had no intentions of going back to them until I realized they were storing my summer tires. I decided to give them a shot at redemption and have them try the simple task of swapping my winter tires for summer. This turned out to be a more difficult task than it sounds. After providing my name the person looked up my file and responded, in a disappointed tone, “oh I remember you”. I tried to have the tires done in the morning which apparently they don’t do and could only do them at 5pm. I asked for them to just arrange to have my tires ready for pick up and I will take them somewhere else for install. Pickering Toyota was more than happy to take my appointment in the morning and even shuttle me to work. Safe to say I will never be going back to Whitby Toyota for any reason.

Paul A. the advisor on this visit was excellent. Listened to what I reported and I dropped off my van for the diagnosis. Later over the phone he gave me straightforward diagnosis and reasonable quote without adding anything extraneous or random. I was actually bracing for the usual add on of tonnes of random recommendations but happy that this did not happen. Got two maintenance service items that i wanted done and one repair that I was expecting. Glad to be able to go home at the end of the day satisfied with one less worry on my to-do list and a van that is running perfectly for me again. Thank you Paul and the service team. Will be making this my place to go when necessary.

I am a long time customer at this Toyota dealership. The parts department is friendly and very helpful. I have purchased and leased multiple vehicles over the years. This is due to how they treated me, acknowledging my long term relationship with them. They're always willing to beat the best offer from other dealerships. I'm also a loyal Toyota fan for its reliability. I have had 3 Corollas and currently a RAV4 and all have been very reliable and has yet to let me down.

Excel Polish Car Cleaning

Excellent service, second time leasing a vehicle, was very happy the first time, this time leased two vehicles, we offer free shuttle and all are customers are pleasantly surprised on how much room there is . Both vehicles are hybrids, love them.

Fresh Towels

The dealership is a bit of scam. I went in for a oil change and got a bill of $197. Nothing was done but the oil change and everything else was , "manaufacturer recommended checkups". I know this is how dealerships make their money, but have some conscience.. I was charged for random parts such as "lithium" and what not. And they damaged my viper blades after the service was done. Don't know how they managed to do that. And car dealership have a goal to get the cars out as fast as possible, so I don't even think all the checks or half they things they charge us for are even completed. It's a pity because Toyota makes such high quality vehicles, but independently run delearships ruin the experience of owning these great vehicles. If you know a good mechanic, take it to him and watch the service being performed. I know I have a weak battery and the they apparently performed a battery test and everything is fine.

We have purchased several Toyotas over the years and kept returning first because of their quality and secondly because of their excellent service department.

We wanted to purchase a 2013 Rav4 because we really wanted a backup camera and they were not available in earlier models. We ended up purchasing one (the last one in Ontario) and were waiting for it to arrive from another dealer. The day it was to arrive, we received a call that the car had some body damage that had not been seen when we purchased. Our dealer ended up getting us the very same Rav4 in a 2014 model for less than a thousand dollars more. I would recommend Whitby Toyota to anyone wanting to purchase a car or anyone wanting to service a car of any make or model!

Implausible Experience.

Over the last month or so I have been looking around to purchase a vehicle and it seemed everywhere I went they couldn’t help me. I was ultimately giving up until a friend of mine referred me to a young lady named Theresa at Whitby Toyota. He reassured me that she would make it happen. From the initial phone call and meeting Teresa, I am lost for words. Being in the business I am in, I can recognize and know the value of good customer service. Theresa, you went above and beyond means in helping me attain exactly what I wanted. Your knowledge, expertise, hospitality, and excellent rapport exceeded my expectations.

I’ve had my car for a week now and I absolutely loving it !!!. I have purchased many used cars in my time, and I have to say, this is by far the best experience I have had to date.

I was lucky to have been referred to you Theresa. It has been a pleasure dealing with someone with such passion, drive and commitment in pleasing your customers. I will highly recommend you to any family and or friends.

Also I’d like to make a shout out to Ian who made my mother and I laugh and make our experience there an added bonus. There were no “stranger like” feelings with anyone there, just smiles and warm welcomes from everyone.
