Took my car in for service came out with more problems than they solved missing fuses, panels not put back ,used computer to turn light off back on again,would never recommend these guys

When I leased my 2022 Corolla at Truro Toyota the staff were very friendly and knowledgeable.
Wasn't there to buy a vehicle, but repair some plumbing. Staff was supper polite and helpful. The detailing crew was awesome.
Bought my car here 4 years ago last week.Everyone has been great to deal with and would have rated 5 stars until my last 2 trips to the parts counter. Felt like an inconvenience, unfriendly service and not that helpful, had to go back a couple times to exchange. I think I have the right oil filter now???
Good sales team, good service if you have a Toyota. However, if they do something wrong in the mechanics shop, they won't admit it, and you'll have to get it fixed elsewhere. Has happened multiple times to me.

We recently had an extremely stressful situation turn into a very positive outcome due to the kindness and professionalism demonstrated by individuals in the service department of the Truro Toyota dealership. Driving from out of town, late on the last day before a long weekend with a worrisome mechanical issue, we desperately called the closest Toyota dealer. Despite a backlog in their service department, we were invited to drop by. Immediately, we were welcomed by empathetic people who went "above and beyond" what would normally be expected under the circumstances. Soon, someone test drove our vehicle and then diagnosed the issue such that we were back on the road, feeling relieved and thankful that "Maritime hospitality and kindness" was alive and practiced by these great individuals. Special thanks to Adam, the Service manager. We highly recommend this dealership for any of your automobile needs.
Long overdue review of the service I received at Truro Toyota. I purchased my first vehicle (RAV4) back in the spring of 2021. Matt Shipley couldn't have made the process any easier or more enjoyable! From having the car pre-heated prior to my first test drive, to only being a text message away for any questions, it was an all around great experience. Highly recommend :)

We purchased a new Tacoma TRD Sport! We anticipate having this truck for the next couple of decades as they are not inexpensive. Staff were extremely knowledgeable and very helpful. This was our second vehicle we bought from Truro Toyota. This time we went used - Matt spent 2 months looking for the right fit for us. The price was right before they did a full Toyota certified inspection. Long story short, it needed tires, windshield, brakes all around, a few other small things and they still honoured the price. Another great relaxed experience from these guys. Recommend

We went to Toyota in Dartmouth and they didn't even acknowledge us. Advise to check out Toyota outside the city so went to Truro, great experience. Will def recommend people from the city to go to Truro and not even brother Dartmouth.
I’ve had a few minor warranty issues with my new Tundra in the last year, and every time I have had to deal with Truro Toyota they have been absolutely fantastic. Very friendly and very honest from what I can tell. I would say they have really good customer service and pretty fast turnaround times for the work they need to do. Even if your car is not Toyota I would tell you to come here because I feel as if they can be trusted.
I really like the business, all the staff is friendly. Lots of comfy places to wait. You can even have coffee & watch tv!!
I would post "No Stars" for the sales rep. I dealt with... I spent my money elsewhere ( on a new Chevrolet 2500 HD ). The rep. I was dealing with ( and I will not post his name, as I am not out to harm anyone ) never even had the decency to email me back or called my back ( I even drove from Halifax to meet him and look at the new Turndra ext. cab / long box 4x4 they had )... even now a month plus gone by and still not a word from him ( I figure I will let my feelings known ). Also, no dis-respect to Toyota auto's or to the service dept. ( although very safe to say the Tundra is a great truck but definitely no match when compared to the 2500 Silverado 3/4 Ton for my work needs and the "Sales Service" I got elsewhere was 100% better on a sales level ).

I mainly use the Service department... Although, I guess that's the same for everyone. You buy it least a car once in however many years, then you keep coming back for the oil changes. So maybe the service department of the most important department there is! There's been a lot of turnover in staffing over the past few years. Some have been excellent, others I don't miss, but I do worry that there something going on to create the turnover. Individually, everyone treats me well, it's the overall vibe that has changed.

They were very friendly and got the job done fairly fast. Kind of pricey, but at least you know they cover everything about your Toyota, so I don't need to find a separate body shop, mechanic and electrician. But I mean, will I take it in here for every little thing? No, but it's nice to know they're good, and nearby when I need them.
