I'm very sad to say me & my wife will not be dealing with Baker Dr Toyota Dartmouth anymore .Our next vehicle will not be Toyota it will be Honda next door .Here is our story we bought a 2016 ToyotaRav4 Limited then a Toyota Tacoma 2014 which we traded it on Honda Redgeline 2018, which was the smart move .On the Rav4 2016 we bought new third out the time with these Toyota Vehicles we had to fight for repairs which was well covered under our Platinum warranty on the Rav4 .it started with small things so much fuss when we have warranty .now here is the catch they would like u to wait when the warranty stage is second stage .Here is my example The 2016 Rav4 has 85,000 km before at 45,00km we where still had full coverage on, Know here my ISSUES first the rear bearing was making noise I keep telling the dealer and sales & service about this they keep saying they cant anything wrong .then I took it to another auto repair garage they found out it was the wheel bearing .So we called and made appointments at Baker drive Toyota Dartmouth now keep in mind I keep telling them it's the bearing a year ago wow ,so they fixes it under the warranty.at the same time I notice my REAR RIGHT & REAR LEFT TAIL LIGHTS ARE FADING ,I reported this issue more then once back in
2018 to service dept manager & sale person and manager
.nothing was done back the also
no record on file where I complain about this .
which back the it would have been cover on my first stage warranty .km was only 45,000 give or take .SO NOW AT 85,000 the tail lights are fading more I gave Toyota picture and they wont cover it because it's now is in STAGE 2 WARRANTY .I recieved a called from customer service on Friday telling me they wont cover it .so to end my complaint

My company just bought a 2016 GMC Sierra from this dealership. The communication with the dealer was via email only. The sales representative that contacted me was Amanda Morvan. I can only say that I was really happy to negotiate a deal with an experienced salesperson like her.She gave me all the details and documentation I was looking for including pictures of the underbody of the truck. The dealers' website is great with a lot of add on features like a 360 view of the exterior and interior and plenty of information regarding the vehicle.

Recently got a car here. My experience with the car has been good. Cali helped me find the car and she was very helpful. Im leaving this one star review due to my experience with the finance department:

We dealt with Amber Duffney from the finance department. Right away we could tell she was annoyed with us being there. After being there for hours, by the time we made it to financing they were just about to close and we felt like we were holding her up. She was also rude to Cali right in front of us, telling her "you can go" rather bluntly. After this she took us through the credit application. We were denied and Amber explained that we could get the credit approval if my parent would sign on with me.

I am lucky enough that my parents were able to help. Amber explained that she could fax the credit application to the bank in my hometown and my mother would just have to sign at the bank and they could fax it back and I agreed to this.The next day I let my mother know that she just needed to drop by the bank to sign. When my mother went to the bank they had received nothing from Amber. My Mom is busy herself, so she left the bank and called to ask me what the holdup was.

I called Amber and she said she just hadn't gotten it done yet, but the forms would be at the bank tomorrow. When my Mom returned the next day there were still no forms to sign. She called the dealership herself and Amber finally faxed the forms then while on the phone.

After all this hassle we finally get to signing for the car so we can actually have it. At this point I was very excited to sign for the car, but should of had someone with me who had done this before. I made a huge mistake of not taking a detailed look at what I was signing. My excitement got the better of me and now know I'm paying more because of it.

When I originally spoke with Cali about getting the car she went and got approval from the sales manager to include 4 winter tires on rims with the car. I still have the printed and signed offer explaining this, but that's useless to me now. When signing for the car I regretfully didn't notice that the cost of the winter tires had been added into the loan I was financing. I've noticed this down the road and now I feel like a complete fool for not being more careful dealing with these guys. It cost me an extra $1000.00 for the "winter tire package" that was presented as an included package with the car.

I'm seeing now that this has been an expensive lesson in dealing with car dealerships and in the future I will be more careful... My hope is that this review will be seen by other first time buyers so they can learn from my mistake. Be very careful signing things, I know I will from now on.

Got our RAV4 today! It's our second car from this dealership, we're happy with them not until today. I'm so disappointed by the hassle and unprofessionalism that i received today. Not worthy to do repeat business with these guys! It should have been an easy one but seems someone from their end didn't do their job correctly and loyal customer like me is labeled "anxious"?!!... so much for customer service.. It could have been a one day transaction. and seriously no one is available to show us our car (since the sales person have been laid off days ago) even the sales manager is around? It's like "here's your key...the car is parked outside and your sales person will do his delivery to you once he became available". I walked outside and looked for the car in the parking..felt really weird!! it's like I bought a pair of shoes from the store!! come on it'll not take 2 minutes of your time!

i'm pretty sure you could do better than this.

At the appointment date I went there , they told me , you have to leave your car for all day.

Everytime I brought my car in here they always tried to upsell me something. It was not always something needed either. They also have tried to upsell me things that I don't need. It is as if it is a policy to upsell something on every single car that comes in. Once they performed an unrequested battery test, the battery allegedly failed and then then tried to sell me a battery when mine was perfectly good. Then they tried to charge me for the unrequested battery test. The worst are alignments. They have an alignment checker and they check your cars alignment everytime you go in to try and upsell alignments. I have gone in after recently having an alignment done and they have told me that it failed the check and they then tried to sell me another alignment. The last time I was in I had them do a general check and they told me that I needed $6000.00 worth of work. I then went somewhere else and they said that there was nothing wrong with my car.

Car ads tend to focus on the payment, going as far as weekly payments to make a car seem affordable. That's all smoke and mirrors to me. So I made a point of asking for the final, on the road price, assuming I'm paying cash. I got that price at other dealers, but not here, in spite of the direct question. I decided to buy a car here because it was the best car for the money, but learned during the financing phase that the price I was quoted was not really the final price. All the taxes and fees were added.

So, beware. They quote a pre-tax+fee total price and a monthly payment that includes everything. That's their policy, so I've been told.

On the plus side, the sales guy was good as far as selecting and driving a car. Some clarity on what the actual price is would have saved both of us a lot of grief. And prevented this poor review.

I occasionally have my car serviced here as it's convenient to my workplace. On the upside, the shuttle is very convenient, and the staff are always friendly and professional.

I typically do an all-day drop off at 7am. It is annoying when a small job ends up not being finished until 5pm, especially as the shuttle stops at 4. I'm not sure how the servicing order of dropped-off vehicles is determined, but this has happened a few times.

Also, I have sometimes noticed that things that are to be checked according to the maintenance schedule have been overlooked, such as minimum fluid levels or uneven tire wear. As a result, I have stopped having the regular servicing done here.

My first O'Regan's experience was with Altima and it was fantastic. We moved to a Toyota for a bigger vehicle. From the sales process with Shane MacKinnon to ongoing service, everything has been delightful. I recently had an issue (covered by warranty) on my three year old Venza which required that it stay in the shop a second day. David in service treated me with complete respect, arranged for a rental so that I wouldn't be inconvenienced a second day. When they were reassembling the interior, some damage occurred, so they arranged for an upholstery repair person to come in and bring it back to original condition, again providing me with a rental due to the inconvenience of a third visit in three weeks.
