New Car (Sales)

Recently, I decided that it was time to purchase a new vehicle. After doing my research I decided that Toyota would meet my requirements for reliability and low cost of ownership.

I contact Peace Arch Toyota where I was very fortunate to be introduced to Mr. Kamal Dutt. He quickly arranged an appointment so that my trade-in could be appraised. The appraisal was done with no delay and, immediately thereafter, Mr. Dutt took his time to explain the bottom line price that I would be required to pay for my new Toyota in the model/configuration that I was seeking. The deal that Mr. Dutt presented seemed very reasonable and fair. But what really tipped the decision for me was Mr. Dutt’s professionalism, sincerity, and no-nonsense approach. It was clear that Mr. Dutt respected my time and, to this end, I felt respected as a customer. I am so grateful for Mr. Dutt’s exemplary service and guidance. This was truly the best experience I’ve had with a car dealership in my 30 years of driving.

My praise doesn’t end here…my vehicle required a very minor adjustment. I immediately booked an appointment to bring my vehicle to the Peace Arch Toyota Service Center. Jeff Galenzoski was my Service Advisor. Between Jeff, Ramon Castillo the Assistant Service Manager, and two of their excellent mechanics (Zack and Jeff the Foreman), the problem was quickly resolved. I was in and out of the service centre within 20 minutes without even booking an appointment. I am so thoroughly impressed with the service staff. They were all so professional, kind, and extremely helpful. It is apparent that they genuinely care for their customers. I still can’t get over how quickly they all came together to resolve my issue.

Thanks for an amazing experience overall. It is safe to say that Peace Arch Toyota has their customer's best interest in at heart and they have me as a customer for life.

Booking a service appointment was easy and once I arrived they were ready for me and had my vehicle in and worked on quickly. Work was completed by the time they promised. I would have given them 5 stars but I really didn't like the way they try to upsell extra services and additional work they would like to do to your vehicle. This is consistent every time I go there. I know a fair bit about vehicles so don't get sucked into it but I do feel sorry for (not to stereo type) that little old lady who brings her car in. She would end up having a lot of work done that really wasn't necessary. I've seen it happen to other customers standing beside me. It always makes me laugh when, for example, they say you only have 30% of your brakes or tires left would you like us to replace them. My reply is, "Of course not I still have 30% left." Again that little old lady may think her brakes won't work as well with only 30% left so she will replace them. Of course they do work just as well with 30%!

Bought my car at the Peace Arch Toyota. I have been taking my car for repairs and service and have been impressed with the service.
Recently I had bearing noise on the right side of my car. The technician examines my car and said I need to replace the left rear. So I agree and pay 917.90 dollars to fix. When I went to pick up I was told sorry to inform you that the front bearing need to be replaced as well. I complained to the manager that it is very unlike that the front and rear bearing would fail at the same time I have asked for a explanation and talked to the supervisor. Long story short my hunch is that they misdiagnosed and replaced the rear instead of the front. Paid another 715.41 dollars for the repair and wheel balancing. I am very dissappointed that this happened and I was given silly excuses adding insult to injury.

I just bought a 2013 Camry working with salespersons Dave and Sherrie. They were both very patient and very professional with me as I had been looking at many types of vehicles for more than six months. When I finally decided to buy the Camry the buying process was positive and efficient. I believe I paid a fair price for the vehicle from this dealership after comparing quotes from other dealerships. All in all a very good experience. My wife and I are looking foward to the arrival of the 2014 Highlander as a replacement for our current SUV and expect we will work with Dave and Sherrie again. Ron Morin, South Surrey, BC

We dealt with Brent Bjorge,he knew everything about the car and was good to deal with.We weren't pushed or rushed to buy.When we finally decided on the color the only car left in BC was on Vancouver Island,which they delivered the next day.Very impressed.Will definitely deal with Brent and Peace Arch Toyota again.

I researched vehicles, I had a friend that has an older model of the vehicle I purchased, I built the car on the web and then I sent an email to the Toyota dealership closest to my home asking about the model I had "built" on the web. I got an apparently automated response stating there would be a follow up email in 24 hours. There wasn't. I wrote again stating that I would prefer to deal close to home but I would go elsewhere if necessary. That brought a response. One that included bad grammar, untruths and totally ignored everything I had in the original email. I was very turned off but really wanted to give it another chance, the vehicle not the dealership, and remembered I had had a friend that worked at Peace Arch Toyota years ago and it was a great place with good people. So I sent an email to them, from the website and what a difference! I got a prompt and personal response. Most of my dealings were via email and it was a great experience. I had a feeling of trust and comfort when I arrived at the dealership and nothing happened to change that. I got the vehicle I wanted at a fair price with no pain. I didn't "steal" the car nor did I feel ripped off, the whole experience from the first email to driving off the lot was pleasant as were all the people I met - Bruce McCallum, the lot boys, the business manager, even the insurance people. Well worth the trip from Vancouver. The followup service has also been great
