Well I have been asked to elaborate on the situation as I’m not in the “system”. Well, to keep it short and sweet I would have been in the system had you not have sold the vehicle that was coming off a truck for me but had an opportunity to sell it for more to someone else.
Very unfortunate! But hey if anyone wants a Toyota I highly suggest you check out West Coast Toyota. They are honest and I have had great service from them after I purchased my brand new Tacoma.
Our experience at Squamish Toyota in purchasing a 2023 Rav 4 Prime was seamless. I can't say enough good things about our salesman, Rob Mantini. Our emails and texts were always returned quickly. Rob was very clear about the wait time invovled in getting the vehicle we wanted. His quote was exactly what we paid for our new Rav 4 Prime. When it came time to pick it up, the vehicle was freshly detailed and David spent a lot of time going over the vehicle and explaining all the ins and outs. Trade in process was not good and I do not recommend accepting their trade-in offer without looking elsewhere as the valuation was awful. 2020 RAV4 was given a thorough look over and valued at $21k at Squamish Toyota. On the other hand, we made a call and sent a few photos to a dealership on the north shore and they valued the car at $28k on the spot. Would’ve loved to stay local, but numbers don’t lie.
I purchased a new 2023 Toyota Tacoma from Ken Stephenson and had a great experience. Ken was referred to me by a friend and the second we spoke he knew exactly what I wanted and the vehicle that fit. There was a bit of a wait for the vehicle but Ken and Ricky (business office) kept me updated every step of the way, I was never left guessing. When it came to the pick up, they prepped me with everything I needed to bring.
I drove away knowing the vehicle inside and out.
I could not recommend Ken and Ricky enough.

Well worth the drive up the scenic sea-to-sky hwy to purchase your vehicle from the friendly & knowledgeable staff at Squamish Toyota. Definitely beats shopping at an Auto Group dealership too.
I have no problem keeping business local as long as I get good service, but during my time in Squamish I got all my Toyotas from Jim Pattison in the North Shore because they respect their customers. There is this sales guy Richard Loomer who was offended when we wanted to bargain, find another job if you’re gonna be this sensitive! Also you couldn’t bother to clear the snow in front of your ev chargers, so I went to Greg Gardner, their snowplower was busy the entire time I was there getting a charge.
Wow, what a gem of a dealership. Every member of staff treat you like family and genuinely seemed to care that your every need was met.
On top of that when I got back in my Tacoma I could really feel the difference having been serviced.
Great job, I will be a loyal customer going forward.
Just wanted to leave a quick review for my experience with the service department recently at Squamish Toyota. I had an unexpected engine light come on and Jonathan was able squeeze my vehicle in on short notice with a quick turn around. I appreciated his high level of customer service and being able to accommodate my needs despite having a very full schedule in the service department. I'm not gonna lie - it's a long drive from our home in New Westminster to Squamish. But I'm glad we did it. The people at Squamish Toyota are amazing. Our lease buyout was complicated by ICBC's system upgrade and they went well out of their way to make everything as painless as possible for us - including follow-up calls to ensure the insurance had completed successfully. I heartily recommend both the brand, Toyota, and this particular dealership. I give a special tip of the hat to Ricky, Nicky, David, and Ken for all their help and attention that sunny afternoon.

Excellent service. Took my rav4 to Squamish for a recurring issue that was left unresolved at another dealership after two weeks of them hanging onto my vehicle. Squamish Toyota found the issue and fixed it in two days. They sounded actually concerned with my experience and like they wanted to help. I would recommend Squamish Toyota to anyone as their primary Toyota dealership.

Called a couple of weeks ago to acquire about purchasing a New Tundra. The Salesman gave me attitude on the phone like I dialled the wrong number (same with the Male secretary). Asking where I'm From and if I even live in Squamish.

Special thanks goes out to Eddie Tao for going above and beyond. Ordering our new 2021 4Runner TRD Offroad was easy and convenient. As we don't live in Squamish, we were looking at ways to get up there to take delivery. Eddie said not to worry, the vehicle would be delivered to our house! Despite never setting foot inside the dealership, I felt like the entire process was so transparent, and they were always available by phone or email to discuss. This is our first Toyota, and will not be our last from Squamish Toyota. I'm recommending your dealership to anyone in the market for a new vehicle! I can't say enough about Ken and the rest of the Squamish Toyota team. We bought our first vehicle from him after stopping in on the way home to Surrey from Whistler, and the no-pressure, informative and thoughtful service was so great, we keep making the drive to buy from them. We just picked up our third vehicle that we bought from them...we had our names on a waiting list for a RAV4 Prime for a long time, and Ken kept us up to date. My family recently purchased a Sequoia from Squamish Toyota. Our product advisor was Rob Mantini. I know car sales-humans get a bad rap but Rob was on point. Fast and easy drop off and pick up for vehicle maintenance. Staffs are super friendly. Would be great if they offer a charging station for prius prime and future RAV4 prime owners.
Dishonest and/or Incompetent Business.
I was sold a vehicle in disrepair. When I questioned Squamish Toyota on the matter, I was not compensated, instead I was met with dismissive, cavalier, and rude responses.
Here is an account of what occured. Images attached are of email correspondence and mechanics reports.
I purchased a 2017 Honda Fit from Squamish Toyota a few weeks ago. I was assured multiple times the vehicle had been inspected and was in good working order.
From my initial test drive, everything seemed great. Any existing vehicle noise I chalked up to being unfamiliar with the new vehicle. I purchased the vehicle.
Soon after I noticed a light vibration/ knocking from the front passenger side wheel, informing the sales rep within 24 hours of purchase when he called to check in on me.
I had it inspected by two mechanics in Victoria, the first being Parkside Motors and the second being Campus Honda.
Both immediately noticed the bearing noise, and stated any competent or honest mechanic would rectify the situation prior to selling the car.
Had the vehicle not been under warranty still, I would have had to cover the cost. Wheel bearings issues are almost never seen in a car this new, and can lead to serious damage/complications if left unchecked.
Mistakes happen, but evidence suggests this was deliberately overlooked or the business lacks due care.
I would take your business elsewhere if I were you.
I would not recommend this dealership. I paid 2.5 times the price for an inspection thinking a Toyota dealership would be more useful, than the mechanics down the street.
The moment I walked up to the vehicle the first thing I noticed was the rust. It is clearly evident on a black Toyota. The frame and underneath of the Toyota is covered in rust. Yet, the inspection report provided by the dealership indicates there was no issue. How is that possible?
If I cannot trust their mechanics to inspect something visually, how can I trust them to inspect anything mechanically? I expected a Toyota dealership to be held to a higher standard. I was making a $29K decision based on their negligent inspection. I would not be surprised if someone just checked off the sheet, and never looked at the car. Do not waste your time and money here.
Update: The Service Manager had the audacity to tell me in the comment below when booking a vehicle inspection, to request the mechanic to inspect the car for rust. The Toyota Inspection I received has two clear boxes dedicated for their mechanics to note rust, but despite paying 2.5 times the price of a standard inspection I need to tell a Toyota mechanic to fill our their Inspection Report thoroughly?

My Tacoma was due for service # 3, ... short explanation is, because some people keep their Tacomas in garage and do not drive, the breaks on my vehicle should not be checked. They failed to perform service # 3 schedule, or chose not to.
I have bought multiple vehicles from Squamish Toyota. You can expect nothing but a stellar service from all departments here. You are kidding yourself if you are going to find another dealer that cares more about you and your vehicles. They get a 5 star from me on all fronts. Thank you guys. Keep up the good work !

Robert saved our bachelorette weekend!! We were heading up to Whistler in a Sienna van full of 7 girls and we hit a flat tire. We originally went to Kal tire but they were unable to assist and we slowly inched our way to Toyota Squamish. Robert assisted with us right away with his exceptional friendly service and made sure we understood what needed to be done. They had even suggested a lunch spot while we waited. 20 mins later he called saying it was all fixed! It was amazing how attentive and friendly he was. I have honestly never experienced such great customer service. He explained everything and made sure we felt at ease. Robert even went beyond and called us an hour later to make sure everything was running ok and to call him if we needed anything. Robert saved the girls weekend! Thank you so much for everything, it was a stressful time that you turned into a memorable moment! Thank you Robert!!

We had a group of us girls in a Toyota Sienna van and on our way to whistler, we realized our tire was flat just as we were about 15 minutes away from Squamish!! Mind you, this was also a Saturday morning on B.C. long weekend, and thankfully we started our trip early morning around 9am. We slowly made our way to another tire shop first and they tried to rip us off and in the end they pushed us to Toyota dealership which we didn’t realize was just nearby! Thankfully the staff at Toyota were super attentive and understanding with our situation and changed our tire AND also checked all our other tires to make sure it was drivable! Heroes for the weekend goes to Toyota Squamish for saving our tire problem. We drove to whistler and home after just fine after! Thank you so much Toyota staff.
I cannot thank Squamish Toyota enough for the steller service I recieved! I went in with a vehicle that I was dreading to drive (not a Toyota) and left with one I love! I had the back window of my truck replaced by another shop that unfortunately installed a faulty part. After bringing it to Squamish Toyota to have looked at, they were able to provide a quick diagnostic and had the part in stock and ready to replace within the same week.
Anne at the service desk was very helpful and kept me informed on my trucks status.
After having the part replaced, two weeks later, Rob, the service manager phoned me to check in and ensure that the repair had worked which I thought was a fantastic way to show that Squamish Toyota cares about their customers and the quality of their work.
I would highly recommend Squamish Toyota due to their great customer service and care for their clients, as well as high quality of service and repair work.

Very friendly and knowledgeable staff who are willing to go to Ultimate legnths to help you with your vehicle purchase. It is a quiet dealership with lots of inventory in stock. When I went there they had free coffee when I waited.
I purchased a new Tacoma, the sales person Richard was great, friendly, professional and quick! Was able to purchase the car in 20 minutes and could pick it up the next day! On the other hand the service and parts department (3 gentleman) are as rude and unfriendly as possible, my front license plate cover (from Toyota sqamish) was damaged after the first maintenance check , I kindly ask the the Service Gentleman if he could fix that for me and he looked at me and gave me 2 new license plate covers, so I could do it myself! Great service Guys, that's what you expect after purchasing a new car! 2000 KM later 3 screws of the plastic lower tire fender (mud screen) come off, I came back to the service department to fix it which they did at first than 2 days later the the 3 screws came off again because the screws used were the wrong size so I got told! Friendliness and Professionalism is not the strengths of the Squamish Service & Parts Department ! So I went to Jim Pattison for the remaining Maintenance Appointments they are great and helpful!
It has been an incredible journey for me sourcing a new car after my honda gave up on me. Being a huge supporter of the Honda brand I finally got swayed due to their sales manager Richard. Richard truly understood what I was looking for and for what purpose, He was very professional, knowledgeable but most of all comforting while talking to me about vehicles and options. At no time he spoke ill of the competition. He gave me the time needed for me to make a decision but that was not necessary as I was so convinced with what Richard told me that i decided to skip the trip to the city to check out a Honda. Toyaota Squamish should be proud to have Richard as part of the sales team. Looking forward to getting my new vehicle tomorrow.
had the Yaris maintained here and mostly pleased with the service. We're looking at the new Rav4 and they don't seem to want to come down much on the price, thinking we might have to go to Vancouver for this one but I'd rather deal locally.
I have been taking my RAV4 in for service since Squamish Toyota opened. They have always been excellent with the service. I really appreciate the shuttle service. In this last service the extra service provided make each experience excellent. When my RAV4 came off lease I bought it through the business services manager. He was efficient and effective at arranging the paper work for the transfer.
The sales staff were very helpful in assisting us with determining the best Toyota for us. Excellent service when we brought our new vehicle in. Would recommend to others.
