Sales was great but you have to be lucky that the car you purchased does not have any defects. Don't expect them to be honest as the new RAV4 that I bought from them is defective. The seat heats up by itself whenever the engine is on . Toyota concludes that it is not like a heater that can burn people so it is not defective.
If you need a car (used or new), you need to find Juan.
I’ve dealt with many dealerships over the past years, it’s really hard to find an honest and hardworking dealership and sales person. Juan was the exception. He’ll tell you what he knows and if he doesn’t, he’ll find out. Juan is knowledgeable and he’s willing to listen to our needs. So there’s no worry of buying something that wouldn’t suit your needs.

As a new car owner, there’s a lot that I didn’t know, and frankly I wasn’t even sure what car I wanted to begin with. The sales team and finance manager said the vehicle was mine pending financing. My credit rating was dinged 3 times (TD bank, Toyota financing and Scotia bank), They do this to find the best rate. Unfortunately when my credit returned back fantastic, they said that my trade in wasn't worth enough and the manager decided to sell the car to a friend instead? Well thanks, now my credit took 3 hits and my credit score went down so far that I don't dare try and go through another circus at a car dealership in fear it will drop my credit even further. On top of that, I went to contact the managers and no where on their website does it show who the managers are, or who any of the contacts are of anyone who works there. Very strange to be in sales and not be available to customers inquiries. I've seen many positive reviews since my experience, so maybe the management changed, or maybe they've paid for positive reviews (in my opinion). All in all, be careful with dealing with this dealership. Do yourself a favor and go to JP Toyota north shore... Hell even compare their websites and you will see what I mean. The entire leadership team is ready to serve you, and has their contacts available for customers to contact. Westminster Toyota has a lot to learn

Only reason it is not a 5 is they could inform you a bit better of the TOTAL price before servicing. Occasionally the car wash guy doesn't show up on the Saturdays I've had maintenance done also. They are prompt with service, haven't had to wait an excessive amount of time, ever. Bought my car here in 2015, was happy with the trade in of our old Civic, overall a solid experience dealing with sales & service, happy we went Toyota.

I got to this dealership this morning and was greated by a Sales Rep named Leo. I told him i was looking for Manny (a different sales rep). But then he started to ask me questions like what are you looking for. I was assumming he was the only person available to help me at that time so I took his help.
I told him I saw a few Toyota Corollas that I saw on line that I wanted to look at today. I also mentioned that I wanted to check out some RAV4s. Then he spoke to me in a very condescending tone and was like there's quite a price difference on the two. Can you afford it?! What is your budget!!!?
(I'm alot older than I actually look)
I told him " I'm a young working professional. You don't think I can afford a $20000 used RAV4?" I was so repulsed by his sales manner and attitude. He was so condescending and rude.
Then we went to look at the car and I told him I wanted to drive it. Because the engine looked clean.. so the last thing would to be to test drive it. Leo (sales rep) laughed at me. It was the type of laugh that is rude and degrading. Then he said "Look carefully, if you like, then you can drive. " OBVIOUSLY I LIKE IT OR I WOULDN'T WANT TO TEST DRIVE IT. His attitude was so rude and he made it seem like i was wasting his time. He never even explained anything about the car to me!!!
Anyways, he grabbed my drivers license and went into the building.
But then i thought I wouldn't be able to stand his rudeness for a full test drive. So I went in and told the reception girl to page him & tell him that i didnt want to test drive it anymore. Leo came down the stairs and I told him I'll come back another day and left.
All I wanted was to buy a car, I didn't have to go through that. That sales rep Leo was soo horrible!! He was rude, condescending and degrading. What a horrible way to make your customers feel first thing in the morning.
I went to a few other dealerships after and their service was amazing and they went above and beyond what they could to give me what I wanted in my car. :)
Yesterday my wife and I walked in and had some questions on one of their used car on the floor. We went up to the reception and told her the reason we were there for. All staff were busy helping customers at that. So we decided to walk around the showroom to look at car. There was a salesperson (forgot his name, but he's asian.) came up to me with his business card and offer us help. I saw he was with another customer and told him that we can wait until he finishes. While my wife and I were still looking around the cars in the showroom, we happened to walk near the reception desk again. The reception was concerned and ask if somebody can help us. She talked to that same salesperson about us. He came up to the desk somewhere near us and said: "They are okay. They don't want me." with a very bad attitude. The reception asked us once again if we needed help from him and willing to get him to talk to us again. I said no, I don't want his help any more. As were about to leave the shop, Lance, another salesperson came and attend us. He was very patient and helpful to us. Also the reception was sweet too. I really hate how small family-owned shop with poor customer service. This is the third time I walked into this shop and leaving with bad experience over the years. My family and I bought 4 Toyota cars (new) since we moved to Canada. We did pay a visit to this dealer every time on all 4 purchases. We ended up going somewhere for better deals or better service.
Just bought a Toyota truck and wanted to do a full check and the normal oil change. This has been my first Toyota vehicle. As I need the vehicle for work, I requested a courtesy car but was told they do not do this. How is that? All my previous dealerships (Hyundai, Ford, Nissan, Honda) provided a car with even an oil change! I have also been offered courtesy cars at independent places.
Other Toyota dealerships were happy to offer my a car. New West Toyota wanted me to talk to a manager to "try" to negotiate a courtesy car. I shouldn't have to negotiate a standard offering from everyone else.
It is too bad as they are close by.

Purchased a lease return 2013 Rav 4 from this dealership. I had outstanding service from their sales associate Lance Barrs. Received a fair price for the Rav 4 and my trade in without haggle. After sale, their service department was kind enough to make a couple cosmetic repairs to the body free of charge. I am very happy with the service I received from both the sales and service departments. Everything has been stress free.
