If you want a Subaru try another dealer. After signing a lease agreement we left the showroom believing a 2019 model vehicle in transit from the factory had been set aside for us. There was no indication at the time of purchase that Subaru would be unable to deliver. After some time had elapsed we were advised that they could not deliver the vehicle and we had the choice to upgrade to a more expensive vehicle or get a refund. The worst car purchase experience I have had in 40+ years of buying/leasing vehicles!

I was having a laugh about this with my current mechanic and they said I should probably share the experience for others but here goes. Bought car from Budds, forester radio BT broke after a year, took it in to get replaced via warranty. Pick up car the next day and the radio wont pair and has the same scratch on it only to find out they got the radios mixed up and put the old one back in and new one in box. Came in a second time to get new radio and when I tested them the next day the hazard lights didn't work. They had forgotten to reconnect them. Engine rebuilt and short block replaced as per lawsuit and oil consumption, heat shield loose after. Alternator failed at 120000k and was not under warranty. and then finally I dropped off the car for an oil change and left it for 24 hours but when I picked it up I was informed the oil change was never done due to them thinking I was coming at 7pm to pick it up. Wasn't even surprised by that point. Gold Jerry! couldn't make this stuff up.

This review covers the first service (10,000 km) on our 2019 Outback which occurred on 01-Oct-2019. It took place at the scheduled time, lasted about one hour, which was the estimated duration, and I assume all the work detailed on the invoice was completed as agreed. Adviser Mike Campoli was very professional, kept me advised as to the progress on the repairs and the projected costs.
Was provided a loaner vehicle as promised.
Overall a good experience, feel costs were high, but this comes with keeping your vehicle in a safe operating condition.

My car due to a brake lamp switch recall. The dealership I generally deal with (Subaru of mississauga) told me they were booked up for a week (for a 30 min repair) they didn’t care I could t use my car and wouldn’t help me out at all even if I left my car there for the week. I called Budd’s and they helped me out right away. They said they would fit me in and were flabbergasted that the other dealership wouldn’t help me. They
Made sure to talk to my mechanic husband to make sure we could get the car there safely. Great customer service. If I didn’t have a mechanic as a husband I would take my car here for my needs.

Mr. George Ang who we dealt with is definitely what the title says on his Business Card (Sales Consultant) and not a Salesman. We compared 2 different models that I was interested in and the possible options that would be appropriate for my needs. There is one word that I will use to describe George and that is "Genuine". Overall I had a very good experience dealing with Erick at Budds' Subaru. I am not a fan of negotiating, and there was certainly some back-and-forth with the manager on both the purchase of the new vehicle and the discussion of extended warranties and such. It wasn't unpleasant compared to similar situations I've been through, but it's still there. Erick (salesman) was pretty much as good as you could hope for, and I highly recommend dealing with him (I did not interact with any other sales staff). The dealership is new and clean, and every employee I met with at the front desk, at service, and at parts was friendly and courteous.

Horrible customer service. Took my wrx to deal with a check engine light, they replaced the alternator and said all was good. Took them 4 days to deal with that. Car broke down with the same issue 2 days later. Am now left hanging with no response. Zero customer service, zero concern for the fact that I have been without a car. I feel like I am nuisance when I walk in there, first response from the service advisor is "I can't guarantee that we can look at your car so you probably don't want to leave your car here." They have not owned up to their mistake during the first go around. I am now down close to 700 hundred dollars and still have a broken car. Now I know why I avoid dealerships aka "stealership".

UPDATE:
Aaron in the service department took over my file and was a huge difference. He supplied me with a rental and made sure my car was taken care of. I still will not come back to this location but I would like to thank Aaron for the all the help!

Had my very first visit to Budd's Subaru due to a recent recall. I bought my Forester used from another place, not a Subaru dealership, and was being serviced by them. But for the recall, I needed to go to Budd's. I was quite impressed from the greeting, to the explanation of what was being done, to spending 30 minutes in a very nice waiting area, and finally to have my car returned to me at the promised time. It all seemed so efficient and it was indeed a pleasant experience. I have decided I will continue to bring my maintenance business to Budd's. I feel they deserved the opportunity to continue to impress me.

My girlfriend and I were worried about buying our first new car as we have heard so many stories about dealerships. This was absolutely not the case at Budds Subaru. Erick helped us out a ton explaining the benefits of each car. My girlfriend ended up picking one out of our price range but Erick and Ryan both made it work by talking us about different options, leasing instead of financing and breaking down the numbers. Crude dealer.ca provided website front end. The new, used and build your own links don't work but redundant copied google reviews do. Update... fixed same day. Some units missing photos but vehicle inventory pages are excellent. Good selection, modern facility, good location. Some or all new vehicles on display do not have the factory sticker on display and instead have dealer created line item type (like a receipt) with unneeded optional protection plans and PDI as an additional cost despite it being part of freight and delivery charge. One has to wonder why a dealer does not know that the main functions of their website are not working.

Aaron Jeremie was a pleasure to deal with while at Budd's Subaru. I was in for my first oil change at the dealership and kept me frequently updated while I was there. After the service for the oil change and receiving the technicians inspection notes, he discussed the results, what is needed next and helped me schedule future time. The technicians had discovered an oil leak and Aaron explained the next steps thoroughly of what is needed to be done, warranty coverage, how long it would take and the provision of a rental car.

Keith Normoyle's low threat, helpful approach to sales was appreciated. Leading up to the purchase of the Forester I had dealings with two other sales people who were Ok, but not as experienced as Keith.
Keith met my expectations by keeping a deadline for fast pick-up time frame well in mind at all times.
The Forester was delivered with all the specifications met, and in a pristine condition.
My only small criticism was that I would have appreciated a little more time being tutored on the electronics - particularly setting up the no-hands mobile before leaving the dealership.

Easy to arrange apt. for test drive.Good price interchange and reasonable deal reached. Had to wait 17 days for delivery because car ordered was not immediately available. Delivered beautifully with excellent instruction. The car exceeds my expectations and is fun, zippy and pretty to boot. I am a HAPPY camper. Every women should have one. Nice dealership.
