Just bought a new Impreza at Minden Subaru. This dealership is a hidden gem!! We made the deal over the phone with Trever Kelly - what a star! Trever made us feel so at ease and in good hands. No pressure at all - which we definitely appreciated! When we got to the dealership, we had such a warm welcome - we'd never dealt here before - the staff here truly seem to really care about their clients' needs and making sure they're comfortable and very happy with their purchase. Trever and Wanda Albert are extremely patient and personable. They have great senses of humour, are grounded and know their stuff! They both spent so much time with us, ensuring we felt comfortable with our new car - we're not techies - to say the least - Trever took the time we needed to learn and Wanda Albert worked her magic with all the paperwork and made the process so easy! Every single employee we saw there was so friendly and helpful! Tammy came out and congratulated us on our fancy new wheels. She's another gem! If you're from out of town and expanded your search radius for a new vehicle, I highly recommend Minden Subaru. I live about 2 hours away and it was 100% worth the drive. This establishment is a shining example of how every dealership should treat their customers. I spent weeks trying to work with every Subaru dealership in the GTA to find the car I wanted and was met with the sales manager forcing "mandatory packages" that would add over $1500 to the cost due to "supply chain shortages". I was fortunate enough to find the exact vehicle I wanted here, which was offered to me by Danny who not only provided me with a no-BS, transparent and detailed out-the-door price but also reserved the car for me while we worked out the details. All within 5 minutes of the phone call with no hard commitments required from me. I can't say enough good things about how easy it was to work with Danny, Wanda and the rest of the team.

This is the best place to get your Subaru fixed! It’s worth the drive from wherever you are. My Outback recently had power steering problems; the Subaru dealer in Toronto would only replace the entire system (at huge cost!)…instead I took it to Minden Subaru where they replaced only the parts required, and for a much lower price. I think they are honest and provide reasonable repair advice. And the Service Advisors (Shannon and Leona) are great to work with, and answer all my questions.
I came into Minden to charge my Mach E but the chargers in town weren't working. I didn't have enough battery to get home and Minden Subaru graciously allowed me to use their personal charger to charge my vehicle! They were very kind and helpful. Without them I would have been stranded. Thank you all for your help and generosity.

Asked for Timing belt change. They removed the timing cover said the belt was fine and returned car without timing belt cover. Timing belt blew the next day and damaged the engine.

Called in a month ago regarding new winter tires and rims, booked an appointment and waited for over an hour for them to tell me that they’ve managed to lose the tires and rims but at least they had a slightly smaller pair which cost more the originals. Staff is super nice and I’ll would give them the benefit of the doubt since this is a super busy time of year, however sitting for nearly two hours for a simple winter tire installation was quite frustrating, and my discount was nothing considering the wait period and my own stress at expecting a quick in and out. I’m still not sure how they managed to lose a set of tires and rims that have my name and appointment on it, my only explanation is that they gave it to someone else but regardless that I had still ordered them a month in advance. Seeing these reviews made me hopeful that it would be a good setting and maybe I caught them on a off day however this was not a good first impression at all.

Went in for a service call on a Saturday. All staff very knowledgeable and friendly. My car was diagnosed and fixed that morning with all concerns addressed. I love my Subaru depending on it greatly for long commutes. Finding a reputable reliable dealership like Minden Subaru is a must. My husband and I came here to take a look around. Trevor came to help us out and he was simply amazing. He went through various different vehicles with us and was very patient. I heard this place offers decent prices and great services topped, so I stopped in to check out their new and used stock when I needed a car for my family. There was a great selection of both new and used vehicles, but I was disappointed with the prices on the used vehicles. Couldn't afford the new Crosstrek and the used one they had with about 110,000 km, was priced too high for my budget. I ended up buying a used Crosstrek with only 40000 km from another dealer instead, for the same price as the used 110,000 km model they had. So shop around folks, there are other ones out there!

Highly recommend this dealership to anyone looking to buy a Subaru. Minden Subaru isn't pushy like other dealerships I've been at, and they are very helpful when comparing the various models. I was able to test drive a vehicle that I was interested in and the salesman Danny was incredibly informed about the cars being sold. Also, I want to mention how easy the purchase process was when dealing with both Danny and Wanda.

I have never written a review before but our experience with Minden Subaru inspired me to do so. While visiting my sister in Bobcaygeon, my 2017 Impreza wouldn't start. After boosting it, it started after 6-7 attempts after which I took it for a nice long run. After eventually turning it off, it once again wouldn't start. My husband called a dealership in Peterborough and the mailbox was full and they closed the following day at 12:00?! His subsequent interaction with Eddie at Minden Subaru was nothing but positive! They replaced the battery, checked the starter and also did some 'recall work' that hadn't been done by my own dealership back in Brampton yet! The staff are amazingly friendly and thorough. It's worth the trip to Minden Subaru!
This is my first time leaving a review anywhere.
On two different occasions, they have saved me a lot of anguish regarding repairs on my impreza. Both times over the phone.
One time, one of the guys in the shop answered a very obscure question about part compatibility between different years. I was finding a part in a scrapyard, so it wasn't like they were going to make money off me, but they still went the extra mile. This saved me hours of driving.
The second time (which was today), I had a defective caliper that was under warranty from carquest. Since i needed my car right away, and the carquest i bought from was an hours drive away, I called Subaru to buy the part from them, then and hopefully get a refund from carquest when i had time for the drive. This is what i was prepared to do, but the lady at the customer service desk told me that carquest in Minden should be able to take care of the warranty claim. She put me on hold and called Carquest for me and arranged the whole thing. She put a lot of effort into helping me out while actually taking business away from them. Excellent customer service!
After owning a Subaru Dealership for almost 20 years we decided to buy a new Subaru and the team at Minden Subaru are incredible. Thanks for the great deal and great service.

Had the most amazing experience here. A couple weeks ago my sunroof shattered! I called Peterborough Subaru and they informed me that it was not covered under warranty . I could not believe it!! Just a year to the month old and less than 30,000 kms. Decided to call Minden Subaru... within seconds I was speaking with Leona who assured me she would look after it. I sent her the same pics I sent Peterborough Subaru and within just a few days Leona got back to me first thing in the morning to tell me everything was covered. Today it is installed and perfect! Thank you Leona !!

The service department employees are very friendly and explain in great detail the work that needs to be done and provides a general estimate prior. The operation is very professional and the coffee tastes great.
I would give this place six stars if I could. The sales manager came to our aid when our car broke down in front of the dealership late at night. If it wasn't for him stopping to render aid, we would have been stranded in this stores parking lot.

I dont live near Minden but my parents do. After trying to get into a dealership near me, I finally decided to book an appointment when I knew I'd be visiting. They were so friendly, helpful and personable. I think I will return here before going back to the one near home.

Great car buying experience! Completely different from the “big city” pressure tactics. Well worth the drive, and if you’re in the Haliburton area anyway, cottaging, consider buying local, you’ll be pleasantly surprised.

I bought a used 2011 Subaru Forester in Belleville Ontario and was driving it back home to Winnipeg. The sellers mechanic messed up a rear caliper bolt where it was almost coming off and the clutch bearings were making squealing noises. My 177,000km Subaru had the original clutch still in it.
When I got into Minden late at night I noticed there was a Subaru dealership so I turned around and stayed the night. It was a Friday morning right at open when I got there to see what they could do and Miraculously it was a slow day for them! Shannon Overholt the receptionist was extremely accommodating and then her Service Manager overheard my story and took complete charge over my hardships and turned it around for me. He offered me a courtesy car to use as it was going to take most of the day to finish the work.
They replaced the entire clutch and hardware, installed a block heater and fixed the rear brake issue as well as went over my car once again to make sure nothing was overlooked. The young skilled technician #3450 (forgive me I forgot his name) did a phenomenal job, took it for a spin after and made sure my wheels were retorqued. He warned me about an oil smell that would be around due to his work and sure enough a few hours later the smell disappeared and is clean and wonderful! He also knew my story and his professional demeanor was great as he made sure I would get home safely.
I had one of the Service ladies also help me set up my bluetooth as I couldn't delete the previous owners settings and pair my own phone. So much care and concern for each customer that walked in the door. A refreshing change!
I had tons confidence in their details and knew taking Highway 11 all the way north back to Winnipeg wasn't going to give me anymore worries. The Forester runs like a champ! Sweet smoothe quiet clutch! Thank you to all at Minden Subaru for the wonderful experience!
