I own a Nissan X-Terra which I bought from Lakeland Hyundai in PA - very good dealership with great sales/service personnel. I made a decision that all repairs on my vehicle will be done at Evergreen Nissan, which has been somehow good for the past 4 years. Recently, I took my vehicle in for tune-up, and I wasn't happy with how things went – they did the tune-up and some parts that they took out of the way to access the spark plugs, etc were missing/not reattached. Also, the idle speed was way too high (around 1200-1400rpm), when I took it in the rpm was between 600 – 700rpm.
From what I observe, they remove the engine cover and a small hose that was connected to a tube attached to the carburetor (air intake area), which I believe gave them easy access to the required area for tune-up etc. After they had completed all the tune-ups; they did not reconnect the small hose neither re-attached the engine cover. I wasn't aware of this until this past weekend when I replaced the main air intake hose which they had told me was damage when the technician was trying to put it back together, and because it was old so it's my responsibility to replace it with a new one. So I said okay, and I got the part from another vendor because Nissan did not have it in stock.
This past Saturday I open the hood/bonnet to replace the intake hose myself (it takes less than 20 mins) and discovered that the engine cover is missing and a small air suction tube (not sure about the name) was open which has been causing hissing sound/noise, this I had told the service attendant few weeks ago about some unusual sound from the engine area.
I took pictures of the engine area including the small air tube and email it to evergreen Nissan.
The response I got from them sounded like they are not taking responsibility for their unprofessional/incompetent service. They said there was no cover on my engine when I took it for the tune-up and I have never taken my vehicle to any repair shop for any service/s whatsoever, this is the first time I am doing tune-up on this vehicle since I have owned it.
As for the missing hose, they wanted me to take time off from work and drive 7 hours so they can go fix their mess. How am I sure they will do it professionally/correctly. Why have you not done it right in the first place?
I am now a bit skeptical about the professionalism of their mechanics.
All I am saying is: Nissan take responsibility of the poor service you did to my vehicle and replace my engine cover and small air tube/hose which you did not reconnect.
Awesome sales staff really helpful, but now the service manager and sales manager are something special. Had issue with the air conditioner first time we used it, found out some how someone out the wrong refrigerant in the vehicle and they all blamed me as I put in 1234yf as specified by a dealer in Ontario. Went into the dealer and they called me liar and pretty much a
Savage from the north according to the sales manager. And the service manager wouldn’t even look at me when I came in to talk about the car and what can be done to
Resolve the issue. If your from the north I would recommend going that extra 1.3 hrs and driving to oak wood in Saskatoon. Never been disrespected like that before from a dealership adapter spending 25 thousand dollars on a new Nissan kicks . They will never see another dime from me.
Mark and Jeff were absolutely fantastic to deal with. We have never had a better experience than when we purchased our 2018 Jeep Wrangler from them. Would definitely purchase again and send anyone over to them to purchase a vehicle.

My wife and I have bought many vehicles over the years at many different dealerships. Buying from Evergreen Nissan was by far the best experience we’ve ever had.
Our salesperson Lisa Dunn was knowledgeable and very helpful. She also did not pressure us, which at our stage of life is a huge turn off. She listened to us and helped us pick the model that best suited our needs. We never once got the feeling she was trying to upsell us.
Jeff the finance manager was terrific to deal with and a very interesting guy. I have never said this before in my life but I could have chatted with him for hours, usually you can’t get out of the finance guy’s office fast enough ha ha.
All the staff went out of their way to help us and make us feel comfortable. We will definitely be back.
