Bought a used 2013 Nissan Altima 8 months ago. Car looks great and the dealership went through all the safety issues of the car and the dealership passed their own car as completely safe.
Now the rear control arm on the car just broke. It looks really rusted and I don't know how it passed the safety. The satisfaction of buying a Nissan from the dealer is really compromised. They are the expert's on Nissan products and should be trusted.
But here they have put the life of my family at risk. My two kids could have been hurt if this would have happened on the road.
Contacted the sales agent and the manager to have this issue looked at. They have not yet replied about how they can help. Looks like they don't care.
Did not expect this at all.

Bought a new Rogue in January, I have to say they have made it feel like the took my money and ran. There has been zero follow- up since the sale. In the world of service, you would expect it to be full circle service.

After the self proclaimed best sales agent dropped the ball, Blair took over the sale and Enam received the commission. The easiest money I am sure he ever made, Upon delivery which was late by the way, I was handed the wheel locks over the desk not installed and the vehicle had a half a tank of gas. Based on service and several ball drops throughout the process I would never purchase another vehicle here again. I would expect to be treated like this if it was a Joe Blow used car dealership but this a NISSAN dealership. The sales manager should know better and lead by example. If he took over the sale he should have seen all the way through and even more so with the ball drops through the process.

Disappointing for sure, I wont be bringing in my vehicle to Waterloo Nissan for service. I will go to another Nissan dealer that values service and myself for that matter. Being my first brand new vehicle, they absolutely did live up to my reasonable expectations.

Do yourself a favor and head to another Nissan dealership so you won't be disappointed like me.

My wife and I came all the way from Windsor Ontario to test-drive a specific preowned vehicle at Waterloo Nissan. The car checked out perfectly, the price was fair and we purchased the vehicle in about half an hour. On our request we took delivery of the vehicle two weeks later. On delivery the car was washed, vacuumed, warmed-up and ready to go, the paperwork was all in order. I had a great experience purchasing my first car at Waterloo Nissan. Throughout my car shopping process, many people warned me of being taken advantage of by sales people and to be weary during the process.

Out of the many dealerships I visited, Waterloo Nissan made me feel the most comfortable. Enam sold me my first car! The Micra was the perfect fit for me. He let me test drive it and answered all the questions I had (which was a lot!). Enam was not pushy or overbearing like other sales people I had shopped with. He's got a great presence about him!

I also had a great experience with Blair in management. He helped me sign all my forms and was easy going when I was freaking out about making a big life decision. He also ensured that my car got snow tires on before I left the dealership, making me feel more comfortable when driving.

Finally, I also corresponded with Christina. She was great at getting me the best financing options that suited my needs. She was quick and efficient and communicated with me well throughout the process. She let me know all of my options before I was able to make a decision on what my particular needs are.

I also wanted to mention that Tamara at the front desk was very welcoming and also took care of me when I visited!

There is something wrong with Waterloo Nissan. My prior experience with the sales team was brutal. While searching for a Leaf in 2018 the sales guy tried to sell me a base model for far above MSRP, like not even close, and not having had done the research, I almost fell for it. Brutally dishonest.

This week, in a second attempt to use their service department (I bought elsewhere obviously) The service people, acted as if it’s a hassle to help, like I was putting them out.

More importantly, they told me an expensive repair wasn’t covered under warranty, but I ultimately went elsewhere, and it was. Sure there are grey areas to coverage but on rep in particular seemed to take some satisfaction in telling me all the reasons it wouldn’t be covered and in the process missed asking the right questions. When I called the other dealership to double check, even regardless of the outcome, the friendliness and desire to help was refreshing.

It comes down to their people and having some respect for their customers. I know the two dealerships in town are owned by the same owner, but the experience, the culture, is completely different.

I went to Waterloo Nissan to buy my first car. It did not turn out well. Basically, they were selling me a car with a faulty transmission and covering it up as "a sound from the timing belt".
Prior to buying the car, Nissan had agreed on fixing the sound that was coming from the acceleration. When I went to go pick it up, the sound was still present. When I addressed it, they offered me the warranty. I said no. Again, they offered the warranty, but for $1000 less than the original price. I still said no. I told them that I was not taking the car until the sound is fixed, which was what was agreed on prior to buying.
After several ignored phone calls and texts, I finally hear back from the sales manager telling me that they are waiting for a car part, which would take a couple of days to arrive. More delay. Couple days later, the sales manager calls me again and states that they got the part a while back but did was not successful because they "found out" that the whole transmission needed to be replace.
You're telling me that these car salesmen and manager do not know what is actually wrong with a car? How did this even pass the safety if there was a fault transmission?
Thankfully I got all my money back since I did not take the car off the parking lot. I highly do not recommend Waterloo Nissan due to their dishonest, misleading and shady business. 0/10

If I could give a minus rating I would. Nissan Waterloo blew their Customer service skills(lack of) in the service dept. From the service manager to the techs. Nissan frontier and trailer marker lights. They know the story. 3x in not fixed, 4th time they wanted me to pay for a diagnostic. Didn't need one.... The issue was a very simple relay switch. An EX- Nissan mechanic had one in his tool box, 3 min fix..... Didn't cost me anything....But it did cost Nissan a BAD reputation. KG

Bought a car here a year ago and had nothing but trouble with it since we got it. Issues that should have been addressed during the supposed inspection before we got the car. Poor work done when we did bring it in to get those things fixed, and it seems like they scam you out of every dollar they can. Emails don't get answered for weeks and when we ask to have issues that should have been done when we purchased the car fixed all we get is... sorry. I love my car but I regret buying it here I'm sorry to say.

Worst nissan dealers in the region and most pathetic service. Christina and Nestor were not at all professional. Nestor needs to know that this is a service business and customer interaction and troubleshooting is of prime importance. He dose not answer calls or respond back to messages and frankly does not know how to deal with customers.

This place needs complete management restructuring and the employees need to be trained about the automobile industry and service business in general. Frankly, the receptionist was the only one who seemed to know what she was doing.

No wonder this place has a 3.4 rating.

Incredibly rude and unhelpful. The staff becomes immediately defensive and come up with many excuses as to why they aren’t responsible for parts that should be under warranty. My trusted mechanic elsewhere did a diagnosis to prove that a part Nissan Waterloo had replaced was defective, and the woman at Nissan gave an unprofessional and unproductive attitude toward my situation when I had questions. One of their mechanics even told me they hadn’t even touched the airbag… despite the fact the issue WAS the airbag?

After an hour, the woman calls me back to tell me the issue wasn’t in fact the airbag, but the wiring of the airbag mechanism. Yet my mechanic literally installed brand new wiring the day before.

Do not go to Nissan Waterloo if you value your money and time. There are plenty of smaller mechanics that would love your business, will provide much better customer service, and have half the attitude.

As an end note, I know Nissan Waterloo will see this review and not care (based on the dozens of other terrible reviews they ignore), but I’ll also be including these details in an email to Nissan Canada to get my refund on the diagnosis you wrongly charged me for, as well as my experience as a paying customer. Further, I'll be contacting the Ministry of Transportation. Have a nice day!

Edit: For any potential Nissan Waterloo customers, I have an update. My mechanic has fixed the issue, and the HARNESS AND WIRING were fine, the AIRBAG (that Nissan claimed was A-okay) was completely ineffective after all. These people have no idea what they are doing, and this could have caused me my life in a crash. If you value your safety, please go elsewhere!

To make a long story short as possible. My daughter thought she had purchased her first "used" car the Friday of the holiday weekend. They told us everything would be ready. We would just have to bring a bank draft for the full amount and they would do all the licensing. Including plate and temporary permit, which my daughter would have to pay extra, fair enough.Tuesday afternoon before we get there they said they were having troubles. Just before we left for the 40min drive to get there they said they couldn't get the plates and permit and to bring a dealer plate. So where was I going to get that late on the day?. We had plans. Not to mention they assured me when I asked that it would all be done several times. I'm going to speed this up. What was the WORST part was the unprofessional behavior of the Floor Manager, Mr. Frayer. He didn't give us an explanation why they couldn't get us a plate. He rudely offered us out of the deal, which we took. He talked loudly across the showroom on his cell phone and laughing at our situation. He passed by me uncomfortably close in which I felt threatened. He was banging his pen printing a note on the bill of sale. Then when he called my daughter to sign what he had noted on the bill he said "excellent Adios ". So not only did my daughters excitement of getting her first car go from a high but to a low with her wiping tears from her eyes on the drive home. Thanks for showing my daughter how there are a worst sides of people out there.

Got a body package added to my Rogue and they are so many chips on the hood and paint is flaking off. Th protection package that we purchased doesn't touch any of this. My experience with Waterloo Nissan was definitely 5/5. From the moment I walked through the door a Sales Consultant named Robyn Reid took me for a tour of the lot and found me exactly the car I was looking for. Robyn then laid out all of the different payment and warranty options available and found me the one that worked the best for my situation. I would like to say thank you so much to Robyn Reid and the Waterloo Nissan team. She made our car buying experience smooth and seamless. I did a lot of searching before deciding on purchasing a car with Waterloo Nissan and it was worth the wait. No pressure here - calm and comfortable environment. I also like that the used and new cars are sold under the same roof. I went to a few dealerships that divide the new sales from the used sales. In that case, you feel like you are getting less service because of choosing used. I chose used and I felt like I was a top consumer. Only time will tell if the car lives up to my expectations but I have a feeling it will and some. Thank you and keep up the good work Robyn.
