The sales is not very professional, and credit approval took too long.

I recently purchased a new Nissan Altima from Avenue Nissan in early November and have only very positive comments about my experience. Mainly because of the salesman Ryan Casselman, who was terrific. He went out of his way to please me, arrange a good trade-in value for my 2000 Maxima and spend a great amount of time in understanding the new vehicle.
I would not hesitate to recommend Avenue Nissan and specifically Ryan to anyone looking to buy a new car from a patient, knowledgeable salesman who looks after the customers interests.
This was the second dealership I had planned to visit that day. I finished very very early at the first dealership. Called Avenue and they let me know I might have to wait but they will do the best to accommodate.
Once I arrived at the dealership even though Greg was busy with a customer came over to acknowledge I had arrived and would help me as soon as he was finished helping the other client.
The dealership is small compared to some of the other ones in the GTA, which is understandable based on the location. This does limit the inventory they have available.
Greg, Warren, Jay are very helpful, knowledgeable, and willing to help. Overall excellent experience!

I have never had a more confrontational interaction than I did with the service manager at this nissan. All the other staff were helpful and clearly trying to make the situation better. My car was at the dealership for repairs for a week. And when I drove away the check engine light was on and the car was not working properly.

I passed by this Nissan location late last week (Friday) and the visit lasted longer than it's going to take for me to write this review. I walked in and immediately felt the heat as there was no air conditioning. I was highly uncomfortable and was no longer in the mood to shop around as Toronto's weather has been brutally hot these past few weeks.
This dealership provides wonderful customer service. The salespersons (Julius and Warren) are the best - considerate, patient, thoughtful. If you're in the market for a new car, I highly recommend Avenue Nissan!
My experience from A to Z has been exceptional! Called them over phone just checking on a used vehicle in their inventory, within a week, I left their showroom today with a brand new car! Kudos to Mr. Greg for all his enthusiasm when it comes to pre-sales, follow up as well as after Sale / car delivery service. Gary even had to come to work on his off just becuase I chose that day for my car pick up, much appreciated Greg. Also, Mr. Jay, I have never worked with a professional Financial Advisor before. I am new to Canada(less than 2 years) he made sure I understood each and every term of my options and finances available for me, he answered all my questions without hesitation or complaining (unlike other dealerships I visited during my car hunt) however, also, there's a gentleman called Waren, he came in between to help me understand more options comparing used VS brand new cars.
Bottom line, entire team at Nissan Avenue have been super helpful

However, I would like to specially acknowledge Julius, our sales agent. He was awesome! Very nice, and willing to answer all of our questions with a smile and a lot of patience. Was my 1st maintenance recall & service experience on my mostly new 2018 rogue purchased in Aug (10k}. There was confusion regarding what service was previously done and the current service needed. I bought my car here and still visit on every maintenance checkup date. Julius is the dealer who is always very helpful with great customer service and he tries to explain something as easy as he can when I have questions. I highly recommend him or the dealership branch itself.
I can't tell you how much I appreciate this Nissan dealership in particular. Whenever I go to a dealership or an autoshop, I'm never taken seriously so I typically need to bring my Dad with me so I don't get walked on.
Avenue Nissan treated me like I was an actual adult. One of my tires had a larger-than-usual hole and they were able to plug it for me so quickly. The cherry on the top is when I got my car, it was freshly washed. I'm honestly blown away. Everyone was so incredibly sweet and went above and beyond to deliver great results.
I have gone to Nissan Avenue Rd for a few years for service. Typically the service team is great. They were to put on my winter tires and do the usual checkup. They had my car for 6 hrs yesterday and I tried to call several times to see when I cld come get it. No one picked up my call so I decided to walk down and get my car. The proceeded to tell me they had lost my winter tires which had been in storage with them, and had not even called to let me know. They also complained about the company who stores them which was not really my issue...and wasn’t really helpful in any way. I wasn’t very happy and hadn’t been given very good service! I told them I needed my car this am so they needed to figure it out. The manager ended up replacing my tires with new ones since they weren’t able to locate mine. I appreciated the efforts made to rectify this so have given a 3 star rating however the communication was not good nor was the fact that my tires went missing! I will give them another chance because of the convenience and efforts today.
We had a very positive experience. From the minute we walked in the show room Greg was helpful and respectful. He answered our questions without any pressure and when we returned the next day to tell him we would be moving forward with the transaction he executed it flawlessly... including the return of a vehicle leased through another dealership. After moving to area with GM vehicle, I found I wasn’t really satisfied with any of the local GM dealerships for service. Decided to try the Nissan dealership for an an oil change, and was pleased to experience friendly, professional, and prompt service. Will continue to bring my business to them.
My father was told his rear right caliper was seized. They wanted 520$ to change it. He bought the part and i changed it and took apart his old caliper. His caliper is absolutely in beautiful condition. The sliders still have anti seize on them and have full motion also the piston is 100% perfect with no pits scratches or marks. the caliper he had was not seized whatsoever the only reason we decided to go ahead and change it was so that we could prove the mechanic is a liar and a thief. AVOID THIS MECHANIC SHOP AT ALL COSTS.

We bought a used car from Avenue Nissan recently; all the information was not disclosed at the time of purchase. At first, they said that all of the records and paperwork will be provided of the service history of the vehicle. On the day of the delivery nothing was provided. We then realized there were other issues with the car, when we brought It up with the general manager, he gave us a hard time. If you are buying a used car from this location, you should think twice if you want to trust this place. But a better choice would be to go to another Nissan Dealership that has more loyal and courteous management.

Brought my Altima into the shop for regular oil change, they gave me a huge shopping list of repairs and showed me the car with the potential suspension problems.
I wanted a second opinion before spending a huge amount of money on 4 new suspensions... so i took it to two other auto shops. 1) another Nissan dealership and 2) a Canadian tire. Same inspection on the suspension and found no problems with it.

If I could out zero stars I would. My mom went there for two re-calls and, not knowing much about cars, thought everything was fine. One of the re-calls was a driver Airbag recall (in the steering wheel).
Next time I got in the car I noticed that the steering wheel was out of line (had to have it turned left to drive in a straight line). Looking further, a little clip behind the steering wheel was missing. Thankfully, I found it under the driver's seat. Their brilliant mechanics were too lazy to pick it up and pop it back in after dropping it.
When she went back to get them to fix their mistakes they found 101 issues with the car that had to be "urgently fixed" and refused to accept any blame. They tried to sell her on wheel alignment, the alignment was perfect! I drove the car the day before and it tracks straight and true.
Just don't go there, find another dealership or better yet a mechanic that you trust. If you do go, beware! Inspect their work carefully before you leave!!
I was going to various car dealerships over this past weekend, and I had no idea what to buy/what I needed. Julius G greeted me with a warm smile, gave me information on different cars to help determine what I needed for my family. We looked through various options and he was very patient and helpful throughout the entire experience. As my lease is coming to an end, I've started shopping for a new car. I decided to go to Avenue Nissan where i was greeted Darren who is a sales representative at the dealership. He was very patient with me, and was able to answer all my questions and also provided his opinion which i respected. I explained what my needs and wants were and we were able to narrow down which vehicle would be suited for my family needs. Car service was good. When I came back with a problem, they immediately recognized it and fixed it with no extra charges. They have free coffee when you wait for them to finish.
I have been to 401 Dixie Nissan and that may be why these guys at Nissan Avenue look like the angels to me. They are friendly and fast and not pushing to buy things you do not need. I had a default in my Nissan cluster, took my car there, they checked and ordered it. They fixed a minor fault in my car's doors right away. To install the cluster, it only took me about 1 hour next day, and it was done. I am sure if I was in 401 Nissan Dixie, I would, at least, have to give them 2 full days - one from 8am to 6pm to diagnose the default and one 8am to maybe 9pm to install the cluster. I am sure they would push me to buy brake pads, do the alignment, change brake fluid, or buy some washer fluid at least. There would have been something that I should pay a good amount for. Nissan Avenue, I come to you guys from Dandas and Dixie, and I thank God you guys are there. Yes, far from me, but you are there to save my day and give the best service.
Normally I don"t write a review but here I have to write as I got a very good service from a Sales Consultant of Avenue Nissan Jimin Lee who was really helpful for me to buy a vehicle from Avenue Nissan. On his inspiration I bought Nissan Rogue 2010 from Avenue Nissan 2 days back. I am sure car will be okay to drive for few years. My experience with Sales Consultant Jimin Lee was best of all the dealership I visited. He was friendly and professional. I recommend If someone visit Avenue Nissan to buy a car please ask for Jimin Lee . He is a 5 star sales consultant.
Was lucky to have such excellent service team members on hand to fix a problem with the media console in my 09 Sentra late on a Friday afternoon. Prevented the battery from draining out. Wasn't charged. Professional and quick.

This dealership has taken a full change to the way they do their business at Avenue Nissan now that it is owned by Downtown Automotive Group. I have recently went to do my service and maintenance at this dealership and the Service Adviser Aaron has advised myself of the major repairs that had to be done to vehicle and has outlined the safety factors and the cost involved. I was shocked with the findings and needed to look for a new vehicle so i went over to the Showroom and just wanted to get quotes and further information on the new 2014 Nissan Altima. The receptionist have noticed that i was looking for a vehicle and guided me to a Salesperson by the name of San. At first he described the different options they have in the Altima and went through a full description and explained the full options that would benefit myself then he had explained the incentives they had currently on this vehicle and we went for a test drive. When we came back after the test drive my mind was set to buy the vehicle if i got the price that i wanted to be around so i asked him to quote me on payments. He gave me different financial options and showed me the benefits and the differences of financing over leasing. I was happy with the payment they quoted me as they went and explained the discounts and the rebates with me in details. I have decide to go ahead with this deal but they did not have the color that i wanted then i have asked San" how long would it be for you to get the color that i want and he said "I dunno how long but let me double check with my manager just to be sure". The General Manager of the dealership Tim came down and thanked me for the business and informed me that the vehicle would be here with in a week. The vehicle actually arrived in 2 Days and was informed i can have it Picked up on Thursday. I was happy with the Customer Service and the Attitude of the dealership as i was not pressured into buying a vehicle and they gave me a good value for my car which i thought was going to scrap. Looking forward to maintaining and servicing my new vehicle here. Thanks.

San Kanthasamy returned my call promptly and scheduled a test drive. The test drive went well and all my questions were answered promptly. I decided that I would purchase the vehicle. We were able to decide on a sale price that I was satisfied with. I made a few concessions before finally signing for the used vehicle. All my requirement were met before purchasing.
