Don’t bother with Plaza Nissan in Hamilton...sales people don’t honour deals you make...customer service mgr don’t care to make it right...they prefer to save a “180” dollars then have satisfied customers...I don’t even care about the 180 at this point...then lengths they go to cover up their service failures is mind blowing...take your business elsewhere and at least walk away as a happy consumer!!

Car shopping can be an intimidating experience and at first, I was pleasantly surprised by the customer service and professionalism I encountered at Plaza Nissan. I had 2 months remaining on my previous lease and as part of my deal, Nissan offered to pay out my lease and return my vehicle to KIA.

This being my first car shopping experience, I really relied on the experts to give me the proper advice and guidance. Unfortunately, with Nissan returning my car on my behalf, I was not able to have to proper lease-end inspection done and my old car sat on the KIA dealership property for over 2 weeks until it was able to be assessed by auto-VIN. During negotiations I asked my Nissan sales associate in the time between them returning my old car and the assessment was complete who was liable for any damage, to which he replied Nissan. Unfortunately, while sitting on the lot, my car received a windshield crack costing me a devastating and unexpected $700+.

When I tried to discuss my situation with Plaza Nissan I received a complete lack of empathy, assistance or ownership. The manager ignored my calls before sending back an email reply blindly defending the actions of the sales associate. I was seeking financial assistance however at the very least I would have expected some acknowledgement of the misinformation they provided and an apology.

My experience at Plaza Nissan has led me to believe that customer service only matters until the sale is closed and that if you want a response from a Plaza Nissan employee, you better be spending money or you're going to have to be persistent. I feel very uncomfortable that I am locked into a 5-year lease with a company that made me feel so unheard and dismissed.

My 79 year old mother bought a used car assisted by my brother and I. We had to be delayed one day for pick up being told they were waiting for brake parts (what car dealer has to wait one day for brake part?) Once picked up we noticed grinding noise coming from brakes and hard to brake. Told sales right away as to which we were told the rotors and pads were replaced so sometimes they need breaking in. So we waited a week. Still grinding! Made an appointment with service department. All service did was take for test drive and performed brake fluid flush. They didn’t feel any abnormal operations!!
Still hearing grinding and not confident the brakes were working right I took it to my mechanic. They found corrosion and front brake pads/disc had to be replaced. The brake pads they removed passed safety but by a thread. I now hear no grinding and brakes work excellent.
I’m a repeat customer at Plaza Nissan, purchased my new Altima there I also have family members that are repeat customers. The reason I shopped there for my mom. Well Plaza Nissan last time for me!
Most important thing is I can rest assure that my mom can drive safely with good brakes now!

Five stars for service. Took my 2005 Altima in for maintenance. Tim Beechey called and discussed with me what needed to be done. There were no safety issues that I needed to do other than my brakes which I knew I needed to do this year. He was clear and precise and I felt that he really cared that my car was fixed correctly.
0 stars for Sales person Holden.
I did not, however, appreciate the 3 phone calls from Holden Product Advisor. During the first call I mentioned to him that I was simply going to do the maintenance and not think about leasing a vehicle at this time he persisted and called me again. I again told him I couldn't afford a lease and he called me a third time. He also pounced on me when I went to pick up my car and didn't give the service advisor any time to relay to me what had been done to my car. I found him to be pushy and he was not listening to the fact that I'd told him multiple times I couldn't afford a lease. I also did not like the fact that he was obviously checking to see which vehicles were in for service and he obtained my phone number and basically called me out of the blue. I would not deal with him in the future as he talks but doesn't listen.

Since I have been dealing with Corey, there has not been one time in which I was not satisfied with the customer service he has provided me with. For every question, problem, issue, concern I have had as relates to my Nissan car and servicing – Corey has successfully dealt with it, answered the questions, resolved the problem.

He is knowledgeable, efficient and always striving to provide quality service. I would consider Corey to be a very valuable employee of Plaza Nissan and he should be recognized for the fantastic customer service he provides not just to me but to all the customers he deals with. Corey is what has kept me coming back to Plaza Nissan to get my car serviced there. I have really appreciated the fact that he makes my experiences at Plaza Nissan positive ones.

I bought a Nissan Juke from another dealership in another city. Unfortunately there were multiple issues w the vehicle I did not discover until a couple of days of driving it.
Long story short, the issues needed to be fixed/covered by the dealer I bought from. A few weeks of back and forth with dealership A (who, unfortunately, did not handle the situation gracefully) still could not fix the issue. They had me take it to Plaza Nissan here and I’m so glad I did.
Corey and his service team took on the situation and did their absolute best with what was given. Corey even handled all of the remaining communication that needed to be done with the other dealership. Something that I was very appreciative of. After going through a truly frustrating few weeks with dealership A, I appreciated dealing with someone who not only listened to my concerns but communicated (!!) with me on the issues for the entirety of the transactions. I am more than happy with the service I received here and I would recommend to any existing & future Nissan owners. :)

I purchased a new Nissan Kicks SR . After driving the car for about an hour on the day I picked it up I literally sat in the car and cried because I was so disappointed with it. On the day I bought the car I felt pressured to make a decision to buy because of incentives that would expire. I was trading in a vehicle and they severely under valued it...they advertised my vehicle for several thousand more than they told me they could sell it for. I called the dealership the same day I picked the new car up and they were already closed ( 5 pm Friday) so I called first thing Saturday morning to tell them how unhappy I was with the car and I wanted my trade-in back. I was told there was nothing they could do for me and they would have my sales person Patrick call me on Tuesday (it was a long weekend). I had to call Patrick on Tuesday and I told him how unhappy I am with the car and I wanted my old car back. He said he would speak to someone and call me back. Well he did not call me back instead he sent a text through my land line to say my car was already tentatively sold and there was nothing they could do for me. No options , nothing could be done. He didn't even have the decency to speak to me in person. I filled out the survey they sent me in my email describing how unhappy I am with the vehicle and the dealership but, no follow-up response and no follow-up from the dealer either. They also forgot to give me back the wheel nuts that were replaced with the locking nuts and getting those back was like pulling teeth!!! This dealership doesn't care about you and they do nothing to make their customer happy once they have your money. I'm am so upset every time I have to drive this car it is affecting my quality of life. Their lack of empathy for the customer speaks volumes and I do not recommend this dealership.

Went for a simple oil change and they damaged my car without notifying me.
The car was returned to me and I discovered the side mirror was damaged along with a scratch on the door. After notifying them, I was told it was melted from before and that they do not have security cameras. Luckily for me, the technician admitted he damaged the car After I raised my concern.

The manager then offered to replace the mirror and buff the scratch. After coming in again the mirror was replaced, but was still protruding from the car irregularly. I requested another appointment for them to install the mirror the same way it was before, but they did not schedule me in.

This isn't the first bad experience I've had with them. If you need any servicing, I highly recommend going anywhere else. You probably won't be notified if they mess up anything with your car.

Ridiculous prices. All I needed was my brake light bulb changed, it burnt out a couple of days prior. I called to make an appointment to come in, thinking it would take less than 20 minutes. My appointment was not for 3 business days, which is a huge stretch just for a light bulb change. When I went in for my appointment, I was asked to sign a blank invoice without a price on it. When I asked how much it would cost, the service desk employee said "about $45, plus more if they need to check the electrical ." Dumbfounded and frustrated, I refused. I searched up the part ahead of time and knew that the part alone was no more than $10. After directing me to the parts desk, I got the part I needed and went home. I watched one you-tube video on how to remove the brake light casing, and with the help of that 5 minute video and a wrench, had changed my brake light myself in under 15 minutes.

The staff was very friendly and the dealership itself was clean and easily accessible. However, the prices are astronomical. A light bulb change for $45? Come on.

It doesn't happen often, finding a dealership with an excellent service department. We purchased our Nissan Rogue elsewhere and chose to service at Plaza Nissan because it is close. Well, we brought our Rogue in for an oil change and were informed the transmission needed to be replaced (2009 with 50,000km on it, purchased with these low Kms). We'd only put 7000km on our new car when we found this out. Plaza was very quick to assure us it was covered by warranty and that they had even ordered the new transmission before informing us, so it would be there as quick as possible. Thank you, Plaza Nissan, for identifying a problem before it became a very large and inconvenient one. The advisors are always friendly and the quick service is fantastic.

I have been going to this dealership since I purchased my 350Z in 2014 for all my scheduled maintenance. The staff was always pleasant to deal with - Dwayne in parts and the lady at the express service reception who's always smiling (can't remember her name).

After bringing my car out of storage, I noticed I had lost the keys. I purchased two keys and had them cut at the dealership on the Friday. Saturday morning I called a tow truck and took my car to the dealer to have the keys programmed. When I got there, a service tech named Phil said he would not be able to do the work today because of the extensive amount of work required to get the BCM which is needed to get the PIN in order to program the keys. I was told the dash had to be removed - I was skeptical so I asked Phil again if the dash had to be removed and he nodded. I walked out to my car removed the plastic cover by the kick where the fuses are and the BCM was on the sticker. This took me 15 seconds. When I went back inside I was told that they were so busy and that's why I was lied to about how much work it would require - simply to avoid doing my car until Monday.
It's rather unfortunate because before being told this I was already told there was a possibility that my car wouldn't be done by Monday and I was fine with it, however being lied to, I'm definitely not fine with.

As mentioned above, most of the staff is very cheerful and I will miss dealing with them - especially the woman at the express service reception - but who wants to be lied to? In the end I decided to take my keys, after all, why would I want someone who has to make excuses not to work on my car to even touch or work on my car in the first place? Overall pretty upsetting - I will be taking my business elsewhere.
