My Nissan is always fixed properly and on time. I find the crew at Cobourg Nissan to be informative and courteous. I'm not sure Mr. I'm Special with his G35 is sharing his whole story. Possibly he was rude and demanding to be treated fittingly for his holier than thou stature. I fear the troll wouldn't be happy with any service department. To blindly trash a locally supportive business anonymously is just wrong. Was management given a chance to investigate this complaint? Likely the type of customer no business really wants. If you get service like I do and most others...you will completely enjoy Cobourg Nissan. Nuff said.

We were treated very cordially by members of staff when looking for a new car. Rachel was very detailed and personable in her explanation of the various components of the Nissan Rogue. The sales manager also was very personable. Our only concern was with the Financial manager who seemed to be in a rush to have all the documents signed. We feel she could and should have taken more time to explain fully the financial details of the contract. After a call to Rachel we received a satisfactory answer.

I was quoted $300 for one brand new key fob with programing over the phone. As mine had stop working after 5 years. After it was said and done it was $400 they even charged me $18 to cut the key. It also took them an hour and a half. Why charge 125$ of labour when there is no labour but a computer running the program.I feel ripped off. If they want to improve their customer satisfaction rate I would advise them confirming prices before they actually do the service with their customers the day of. As well ask about giving their customers a car wash don't just do it. The first car wash I got took the balance out of my car wheels. Which I had to go immediately fix at my cost. The second time my brakes all of a sudden sounded horrible. I will give you that there was wear on them but the sound of metal on metal didn't start until after they looked at my braking system and gave it a wash.

Looking at the displeasure and problems I seem to get after getting things done here. It would make cents to not come hear anymore, but to find a place that does what they say and do not cause other problems.

I just first GI ve credit to the service associates working at the desk. Jess and her collegues have been the only straw holding me it this dealership.

After a long history of purchased vehicles from Cobourg Nissan, 5 to be exact im left with such a sour taste in my mouth. Some errors have been made over my time there but typically the dealership would "pat my shoulder" and pretend they were making me feel better and we would all be A okay! However a couple of things reslly floored me, dishonest being the biggest one. When you make a deal with someone I reslly believe you should stick to it. On three occasions ive had to fight for what was in my purchase agreement. That was for tires. Service work. Etc.. Things i was promised at purchase and then told the manager of preowned changed his mind. Or said no. Or was in available.

I now recieved a call from collections for an outstanding bill that was supposed to be made good by the preowned manager. Apparently he forgot or they were dishonest once again. I was promised referral awards for the 7 customers i sent and had vehicles sold to. Ive never seen a thing.

Over $100.000 spent there and a call from collecrions to show for it...

Terrible for your customers.

Bought a slightly used 2016 Nissan Titan Xd Diesel in December 2016 . Extremely happy with purchase and experience at Cobourg Nissan definitely worth the drive they know their trucks outside of the Gta . Fast forward to April of 2020 had a major issue with parts not covered by Nissan extended warranty would’ve cost a small fortune! I reached out to the owner Tyler Campbell about my situation as my truck was down in Oakville. Not acceptable! Says Tyler I’m going to make some calls into this . Long story short Tyler is a solid stand up guy willing to fight for the little guy ( customer) next thing I know Oakville Nissan called me and said they had help and info from higher ups in the chain . Problem solved at less than half the initial cost !! Way to go Tyler your top shelf in my books much appreciated ! Cobourg Nissan will always get my business and they deserve yours !

This is not my first terrible experience at Cobourg Nissan. I haven't taken my car there at all for over a year even though they are about 1km away. I had no choice this time due to a issue where I almost had to be towed and didn't want to take a chance. My starter died on my 2017 Sentra. They told me the part would be in the next day. The next day (today) I called in the morning to get an update. The man working the service desk was ignorant to me and said "the part isn't here yet, I can't bring in the shop and work on it if the parts aren't here" I replied by telling him I was calling for an update so I can arrange my day if I don't have a car, such as my doctors appointment at 1pm, or getting some things I need for my fence. How is it they can't understand that I bought a car because I NEED it. It's now been 2 days without a car. They called and left a message at 1:57pm and said the part was in and it should be done by 5pm. 4:45pm I called because I have heard nothing. The same man answered and said it wouldn't be done till tomorrow. Great customer service!!! Can't even call to tell me I would be without a car for the rest of the night. I asked when tomorrow I can expect it, to which he replied "in the morning, I'll find out when I talk to them first thing". Why couldn't he do that when I called, or updates at the end of the day as they have people's vehicles which they need. Disgusting the service

My car had a flat tire and had to leave it at Cobourg Nissan to have it fixed. I told Jessica from the parts and service department that I had bought tire and rim insurance- I made sure to ask what is the process to get this done properly. She was very quick to say don’t worry about it, we will do the work and your dealership will reimburse you.

Turns out that’s not the right process. Now we’re trying to ask Jessica to fill out the form for the insurance so that we can try and see if we can get the money back though doubtful. It has been 3 weeks, have not heard from her after 3 repeated follow ups.

Jessica was quick to help us out (which we really appreciate) and take our payment but did not pause to check and see what the insurance process is and it has costed us $500.

We are still hoping for a resolution.

I bought a vehicle from these guys (online) in August 2018. It is an older vehicle (2008) and seemed to be in good condition when they dropped it off in Oakville. Ive listed 3 items that I am not happy with so far.

1. They upped the price by $1000 over and above the agreed price because I got a better interest rate.

2. The seats are a cream color leather which looked in really good shape for the year until I had sat in the seats a couple of times and had what I though to be very fine sawdust dust all over my back and back side after having no idea what it was for weeks, I finally figured out that it was only when I drove the car. The seats had been spray painted!

3. After taking the car in for its first oil change. I was informed by the mechanic that my rear differential has been leaking and that it had silicone all over the seal and was pretty much empty.

I've emailed the sales person dealt with (Amanda) and only had an automatic reply stating she is away on holiday.

I will keep this review here until the 3 items above have been dealt with by this dealership.

I booked an appointment to view pre-owned car with someone name Amanda. I clearly told that I'm coming from Brampton and confirmed the availability of the car. After travelling over 2 hours from my place. I came know that car has sold out. I have never came across such a worst Sales agent like Amanda. She did not have courtesy to inform me that car was sold. Alteast I would expect her to let me know that there was another appointment booked before me and she should have booked appointment for later time. So that if car got sold I wouldn't have to make that trip. Worst customer service. I will never go to this dealership again.

I contacted Cobourg Nissan in February looking for a certain vehicle in their inventory, but it had been sold. The sales agent offered to locate a vehicle matching my desired qualities (which other establishments did not do). They soon located a vehicle in their inventory that sounded perfect and within weeks I was driving away with a nice new-to-me truck.

The staff was courteous, kind and willing to work with me needs. The only thing I would recommend is thoroughly inspecting a used vehicle prior to purchase as a few things popped up over the course of months after. My day light bulb had come loose and fell out of the headlight module, holes in the module for a previous light or flasher modules (poorly covered over with rubber and silicon - the silicon has since fallen into the module but I will extract it with my grappler), loose wires from the previous install, cuts in the carpet (possibly from the previous application of the vehicle) and a few clips missing for the front grill area holding it onto the vehicle. Luckily my trade-in was in no better shape :P.

Nothing hard for me to fix and for what I want to do to the vehicle, it did not overly upset me (Im sure if I brought this list up to them they would fix it). But it is a good reminder to those who might simply want a used vehicle in good condition. Compared to some of the other places I think you would do well to do business here, but like any big purchase you will want to cross your T's and dot you I's prior to committing (ie. inspect thoroughly or get a 2nd opinion).
