Followed Doug to Northhill Mazda from another dealership as he provided honest and reliable advice to my wife and didn't try to up sell on unnecessary features but rather provided both the positives and the negatives of the features and left her feeling like there was little pressure. After purchasing our first new vehicle with this dealership, I have picked up a used vehicle for my brother here, and then a new cx-5 as our family got to large for the Mazda3. I have also had the best service experiences at this dealership for a couple years now over other dealerships in Calgary and the customer service is next to none. Troy in particular has provided me excellent service and a friendly face that I look forward to seeing first on service and now on sales. I will definitely be back with both my service and sales needs. Rob, the manager here, has always provided me with trade in values on both of my vehicles well over a thousand dollars more than I was offered at other dealership and has personally stopped to say thanks for our service on each of my purchases. I would and have recommended this dealership to my friends and family, and will continue to in the future.

I brought my car in to have my back bumper put on the advisor Aron said it would have to left for the day I was ok with that taking the day off work. Later that day 2:45 pm I got a text saying my car was done and called and asked how did it go ? He said nothing was done only fluids were checked ! It’s not covered under warranty well I was furious when I went to pick up the car the tape that I had put on was not the same as when I dropped it off which could have been a road hazard. I asked to speak to Aron and he was very rude to me while smoking his Vape claiming that I yelled at him. Any way I fixed my problem myself the point is it should have been communicated better rather then waiting all day to accomplish anything. Just to note this is my second car that I purchased from here but will have no more revenue from me again I will go to another Mazda dealership moving forward. It’s no wonder why so many changes in staff there terrible service experience for me just passing it along beware!!!

We test drove a used car and said we would call the next day to arrange financing after doing some price comparisons. The cell# given by the salesperson did not work. Called the dealership and left a message. No response. When the salesperson finally responded the next day he simply said "Sorry it sold after you left. Thanks. Goodbye." I guess they don't need our $ to not even offer to show us something else. Poor service

DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!! I made an appointment a few weeks out to have the oil and tires changed on my Mazda 3. I usually get the servicing done a Kramer Mazda but North Hill Mazda is closer. When making the appointment the attendant confirmed that the servicing would take about an hour. When dropping off the car the service attendant confirmed that it should take a little over an hour for the oil and tires to be changed. I decided to wait in the service lounge until they were done. An hour an half later, the car still hadn't moved from where I left it. Upon asking the service attendant what was going on, I was told that it would be at least 15 minutes before they even started the service and that the service would still take an additional hour. They made no attempt to let me know of this delay while I was waiting. I was told that the time I booked was approximate and they had unexpected servicing they were doing. When I make an appointment weeks in advance I expect that this booking will be honored. Left without the job being done and have now made a booking at Kramer Mazda. I will not book here again and would advice others not to book their servicing at North Hill Mazda.

Based on previous reviews, mine will likely come as no surprise. I went to North Hill Mazda based on their high reviews, and because some of my friends and family had purchased Mazda vehicles before (one from the same location). If I could, I would give this location 10 stars out of 5.

I was in search of my first new SUV, that was safe to drive and within my budget. I hoped to find a sales rep who respected these terms, without trying to sell me something I wasn't happy with. I absolutely found this at North Hill.

The first thing I noticed about the dealership was that the work environment was friendly, honest, and that all of the employees got along so well. This, to me, is a very good indicator of a business with integrity. I had checked out a few other dealerships, but North Hill Mazda's service was incomparable.

The service from start to finish was amazing:
1. When I called, a very friendly person, Amanda, booked an appointment for me within the hour, as I was in a rush.
2. Upon arrival, I was immediately helped by David Sosa, the outstanding Sales Manager of the store. He walked me through the entire process of buying my car, from first meeting to when I drove my car away. I had a list of items that I hoped to have for my new vehicle. On par with other reviews I have read, he was kind and honest, not pushy in the slightest, and organized several options for me that matched my list. He managed to find me a car that checked all my boxes. David spent so much time with me, and patiently answered my (ten million) questions.
3. Alongside David, Eric (a sales rep) guided me through the process of buying the vehicle. He was calm, kind, and impressively knowledgeable. He went above and beyond in every respect.
4. Lindsey, the brand experience manager, was in contact with me quickly and efficiently about the paperwork, and was lovely to speak to.
5. The other team members - Oleksii and May - were so kind and made me feel very welcome.

When I drove the vehicle away, the entire team came out and celebrated with me. More importantly, I drove away with a vehicle that I was 100% confident about, within my budget, and was better than what I originally thought I was going to get.

As for service on the car - I myself have not experienced it, but my friend (also purchased from North Hill Mazda) has had nothing but glowing reviews about them.

If you are looking for a dealership you can trust, I absolutely recommend them.

I purchased my vehicle from North Hill Mazda in 2016 and have always had a really positive experience. From the sales process to the service department, always great customer service. That being said, I feel that this location misses out on lots of service opportunities because they don't respond to inquiries through their website. I have submitted two requests for appointments there (detailing, oil change, and an issue with one of my vehicle doors) and haven't heard anything back. I have taken my vehicle elsewhere for oil changes because of this. I will try calling the Service department directly because I'd like to have the door looked at; however, I would recommend not offering the option to request an appt through the website if no one checks the inbox.

Good other than my car lock was frozen from the detailing they did earlier and then parked it outside when it's -28C 🥶. Then found out the back driver's side tire had a nail in the wall of the tire. No one had told me they needed to put on the spare. Usually have great service here, but had some hiccups today. They were still accommodating and helpful none the less.

Recently I was quoted one price for both the headlight assembly and the corroded ballast - I didn't know what a ballast was 10 days ago- (Approx $600 plus installation) No problem!

4 days later I was informed I would be charged an additional $500 for the ballast that was in the original verbal quote - and that I has mis-understood the quote. After eventually admitting to their error they offered to cover the cost of the additional part (as they had indeed misquoted) we agreed to order in the parts.

An additional 4 days went by with limited answers as to when the car would be ready and with no car to drive. Today (10 days after the initial diagnosis and still without a car) I was informed they did not install the part and would not cover the additional cost, but could "maybe" offer 10-15% off the additional part.

As a sales professional if I mis-quote a rate to a customer I eat the mistake or at the very least provide the most excellent customer service possible to right the wrong. This was not the case.

If you choose to go here I would suggest get your quote in writing.

Big shout out to Northill Mazda and team for hooking me up with a Subaru Impreza. It's a nightmare out there looking for private used sales and Mazda made it beyond simple for me. Automaxx is a joke and I found private sales on Kijiji to be horrible. Just hit up a dealer for a simple transaction and properly inspected vehicles. 2009 AWD Subaru Impreza 95,000km for $10k ummmmm yes please.

The sales lady Talia was very friendly and accommodating on our test drives. Top marks there. However when it came to the beginning of the deal process, I was shown over $1500 in extra "fees" (for nitro, wheel locks, etc.) and was told that the cost was non-negotiable. I went to Kramer Mazda next week and they had no issue removing the extra fees with me asking just once, and gave me a reasonable discount on a new 2020 Mazda3 Sport. I wished I could have bought here for all the help I got from Talia, but in the end $1500 in extra fees is inexcusable as a customer. It's not her fault, I assume the policy is not up to her.

I bought a new Mazda CX5 at North Hill in 2017.The experience was great!! This vehicle is incredible!
Over this past winter the paint started to chip off excessively from the sand on the roads. It was brought to the attention of the GM(Rob Orchard). To my surprise Mazda Canada stripped all the paint off and did a complete paint job front to rear. The car looks brand new!!! The 3 year bumper to bumper unlimited km warranty is AMAZING. Thanks Mazda Canada and Thank you North Hill Mazda.

I paid, in the ballpark of $1,500.00, for undercoating when I bought my Mazda, find out two years later that they never installed it. Mazda offers to install the undercoating, provide an oil change and offer me a rental at no cost. I drop my car off the first time, no rental car available, have to reschedule.

Second attempt at my appointment, I decide to call the day before to make sure there is a rental waiting for me. I am ensured, by Mazda staff, that there is a rental available. Show up to drop my car off, no rental available and I am given the cost for my oil change. Because of Mazda’s lack of communication with frontline staff and tardiness I now have to rearrange my entire day and cancel prior arrangements to make sure I work around Mazda’s schedule and incompetence.

I will give recognition to the girl at the service desk who was able to arrange a rental car through a third party renral company for me.

I am not upset that Mazda did not install my undercoating, they made a mistake and have shown to provide the product that I paid for in the end. It is there approach to providing their service that has been absolutely below satisfactory. I should not have to rearrange my schedule to meet your mistakes.

I have been taking my Mazda vehicles to this dealership for years. Last week was the last time. I brought my new vehicle in for its first oil change, when I went back and paid for it, I got into my vehicle and the windshield was cracked from top to bottom. I went back into the dealership where I was told I would need to speak with a service manager the next day (I was also informed he would be on at 730 am). I left angry and returned to the dealership at 730 am to find out the service manager was in fact not in the store. What I got instead was the general manager. After pulling out a pen from his pocket to track the massive crack in my windshield he looked at me and told me it was my fault because I must have had a rock chip. He claimed when they hoisted the vehicle up on their machine the chip must have ruptured into a massive crack. He refused to do anything for me other then blame me. Comically they also left a note in my vehicle saying "thank you for allowing us to service your vehicle", yet all I got was a massive crack in my windshield. I have since contacted Mazda's head office, let's see if I hear back.

Bought a new Mazda 3 North Hill in August 2014. The purchasing process needs some work but they do try to fix mistakes quickly. And they will work with the customer to address any issues. The salespeople don't play games unlike some dealership but learn exactly what car/ features you need before walking in. (I learned that the Mazda 3 GT does not come standard with XM radio).

The service department is the area that shines in this mini dealership just north of DT Calgary. They are friendly, do the work professionally and wash the car when done. It's still small enough that they remember the individual customer name. They will drive you to work downtown (or anywhere) and pick you up from your work. Definitely recommend the service dept.
