I called ahead of my intended visit to the dealership. I spoke with Michele and set up a meeting that same day . Michele and I had an instant rapport. She understood the circumstances under which I was purchasing a replacement vehicle. I also asked that she not call me on a continual basis (as is generally the case after a visit to a dealership) as I needed time to consider my next steps. The dealership happened to have a 2019 KIA Soul which had initially been a rental vehicle. Although I had planned to purchase new, it had low mileage and fit the bill. I was not pressured during the sales process and Michele helped guide me toward making a sound decision.

I only gave 1 star because I couldn’t give less.

I took my 2015 Kia Sorento in to get the engine swapped for a new one. All was covered under warranty but they took a half day longer to get it done. I was also told by their service department that it was the fastest they had ever done a job like that. All was good until I took it off the lot and picked up my kids. I was stuck in traffic and once it cleared I attempted to accelerate but my car rolled backwards almost hitting the car behind me. This happened a couple of times before I realized I had to call for a tow and get my kids out ASAP. The next day North York Kia apologized and offered me a free car detail as compensation. A FREE CAR DETAIL!! They thought that would equal to putting my 2 kids in such a dangerous position. Turns out the technician put back a rusted/ seized clamp back on a tube which ultimately spilled my transmission fluid. When I met with the general manager I thought I made my point clear that it didn’t have to do with the clamp only costing a few dollars but that his technician PUT A RUSTED/ SEIZED CLAMP BACK ON THE CAR. The GM apologized and the following day I received A TEXT MESSAGE from the service department offering me a 1 year/ 20 000km warranty. That sounded good to me until I was told I would have to pay half the cost of $599.95 +HST because it covered more then what they worked on. I have never felt more insulted with any company. To put me and my two kids in a very dangerous situation and then tell me that all it was worth was a car detail valued at $150.00 or half price 1 year extended warranty. This is definitely a dealership that doesn’t seem to understand that customers put 100% trust in them to have their cars repaired properly.

Don't give time estimates or commitments that are not matched by reality. Routine inspections, if they are going to take time because of other cars ahead, should be properly communicated.

Third Kia, and finally I picked up my Telluride. Mike made my purchase smooth as possible and delivered the car on a very tight schedule that I was on. I honestly had doubts if he can really deliver on time. He didn’t make any false promises, kept me posted on the progress everyday. Definitely going to see him again for my next purchase in about 1-2 years. Highly recommended, he will do his best to get what you need.

I purchased a used vehicle (Honda) a couple of months ago. I brought the vehicle back the same week, having a low speed shudder issue. Since there was no check engine light on and they could not determine the problem with a scan, they said there was nothing that they could do. The problem continued and approximately 2 weeks later, the check engine light came on. I brought the car back and after it was scanned it listed an issue with the transmission. They then said I should take it to a Honda Dealership because they do not carry the proper parts to repair it. I brought it to Honda and they said it was a simple transmission flush because the transmission fluid was contaminated. This cost me nearly $600.00 because of what was involved and how contaminated the fluid was. They also said that North York Kia should cover the cost because it should have been checked before it was sold to me. I asked Kia about it and they said they checked for fluid leaks and levels and NOT the quality of the transmission oil because that does not fall under their 30 day safety warranty and that they cannot simply turn off the check engine light to hide the issue. This does not make any sense because when I brought the vehicle back to them with the check engine light ON, it was then taken OFF before I brought it to the Honda Dealership. North York Kia said that there was nothing that they could do and that they will not refund me the cost of getting the issue repaired even though I mentioned the issue to them the same week I purchased the vehicle. Buyers please be aware!

No one seemed to be able to give me a direct answer, I was constantly put on hold, and when I was finally transferred I was speaking with a gentleman who was completely disrespectful and short with me. Obviously tried to push me off the phone.
Safe to say, I will make the drive to a location that is interested in my service.

I took my Kia here for my regularly scheduled maintenance, and thanks to Eric I will be going to this location from now on. Every single step of the process was 5 stars.

Eric was absolutely amazing, from scheduling my appointment to giving me a summary on everything that was performed. He was very patient, kind, and detailed, making sure I understood what was being checked and why, and made me feel confident that his team has my best interest in mind. They weren't a minute over the estimated time to complete my service, unlike other locations. The cost was also much more affordable than expected. Not to mention my car was returned to me much cleaner! I could go on.. but I'm really just happy at how well I was treated here.

It definitely shows that the manager and team in the service department take pride in the work that they do here.

Our family just bought a used vehicle at that place. I found it on Autotrader and thanks to the evaluation tools it attracted our attention with an aggressive pricing. I thought maybe it had an accident or whatever. Well before I even asked the history of the vehicle, mechanical inspection of it as well as service records have been provided to us. They have a spotless showroom, state of the art brand new facility and very open people working there. Actually they have two showrooms the second one is downstairs that’s where our car was parked. Seats of my vehicle(and it’s used I never buy new) where in plastic covers same way as new cars. Vehicle was demonstrated to us properly and all plus and minuses were shown by a Sales person.
We felt absolutely zero pressure to commit to a Sale in fact we left without buying to check out another one somewhere else, but we came back and so right we did!!!! Look we all are looking for the best possible deal.
So we bought it. Than we had to deal with Business office. We were introduce to different things there and we never felt pressured. We bought nothing there initially.
Delivery.
We came with an open mind as it was at the end a used vehicle. Well they blew our expectations. All books all keys full tank of gas. And we paid well below the market value.
They maybe rookies but they know what they are doing. We dealt with Sina as a Salesperson, Igor was whatever manager he is and Eric was very helpful in Service explaining to us what was done to a vehicle to make it ready.
Than the most important thing happened to us. Remember I said I bought nothing in a business office? Well several days after pickup we got an issue with a vehicle. I thought OMG we have no warranty. We declined it. So I just called to say we got an issue without any hope. Well I was told to bring the vehicle at our earliest convenience and while we were checking on their top of the art coffee machine Eric came out and informed us the issue was corrected, apologized and we were back on a road in no time. Very impressed over all with the whole experience.
Look I’m a humble person I know I got the best value for my money there and I believe strongly you will be treated the same. All the best for you North York Kia you have a right attitude and time is working for you! You have been noticed.

I bought new car here! The 2020 Kia Telluride and I can't wait to pick it up. I had done my research when selecting this new SUV which just won the Motor Trend SUV of the year award. I went to 3 Kia dealerships before this one and although the experience was pleasant, I didn't buy until I visited North York Kia.

Mike Zhang, the Sales Executive was absolutely fantastic. He was very professional and welcoming and really helped us with buying this SUV. We would sincerely like to thank him for that.

Nav Ahmed, the Financial Services Manager, was also very helpful and he offered us an excellent closing deal from financial aspects.

We would also mention about Eric Kim the Service Manager, Doron Levy the Service Consultant and Paul Yang the Parts Manager for all of their efforts with other services during the delivery.

Don’t be fooled by there smiles, cause they sell a lot of BS!

I apparently bought a lease return serviced by dealership
Bought warranty
Had low oil, warranty included oil fill-ups
Went to dealership to get it assessed, found out oil plug was stripped and car hadn’t been at a dealership since 2015
I was not reimbursed, and North York Kia dealership told be safety certifications didn’t cover oil pan bolts!
So apparently a vehicle with a leaking oil pan is safety certified 😳

I had a very bad experience with this dealership. They cheated me and sold me a car which wasn't in a road worthy condition. I am relatively new to Canada and I am a student. When I went to the showroom again about complaining the situation they told me that I must have inspected the car before purchasing and told me that it was my fault. Now after purchasing the car from North york Kia I am taking a Transit to commute. I really trusted the sales person 'Sina', he spoke to me well in order to sell the car, when I went to tell him about the problem he wasn't even listening. The manager of this showroom wasn't helpful either, he offered to take my car for $350 which I bought for $6200, within a span of 7-8 days. The reason I chose Kia dealership is that it is a big dealership and a popular one too, but I am feeling so bad for choosing kia. I have been cheated by them. Nothing wrong in selling the car, but if they had informed me the status of the car I would've bought another car. Please don't do this to anyone else, Especially to students, as it will affect their livelihood very badly.

Very nice and friendly customer service at this new dealership in North York. This is a spacious dealership with tall ceilings. Nice and clean. Baby changing table in the washroom. I saw one mechanic wearing a BMW shirt, I was little bit surprised to see that.)) There is coffee and tea available while waiting for your service to be done. They also offered me a shuttle if I needed it. WiFi is still under Mitsubishi and super slow (password was their phone number). The service comes with a complimentary car wash which is nice since not every dealership offers that.
