I decided to purchase a vehicle from this Kia location and due to circumstances I was not able to continue with the deal. I was willing to cover freight charges for the vehicle but Kia also decided to keep my deposit as a credit towards a future purchase. This was not discussed and I was told my deposit would be returned once the vehicle was on site. I am a young black man and I felt like they took advantage of me. This entire process has turned me off completely from the company and their treatment of my deposit. They are keeping me hostage to their demands and I would like the remaining balance of my deposit returned so that I can put this situation behind me. Don’t buy at this location

I have purchased my Kia Stinger GT Limited in Sept of 2019 ( approx 1 month ago ). At the time of purchase, Plaza Kia was the only dealership that had a Stinger for test drive, so I have ended up purchasing a stinger there.

Recently, I wanted to get my rear side reflector replaced so I have contacted the nearest Kia dealership which was the one located in Scarborough and they told me they were able to do the job in 30 min ~ 1 hour.

I was greeted by a kind gentlemen who helped me through the process of getting started only to be notified that the job would in fact take more than one hour after review.

Disappointed but I understood the situation and decided to make another appointment the next Wednesday as I only had one hour to spare at the time.

I came home later that day and see if I could do the job myself, and saw this tear on the driver side after folding down the seats which clearly the technician that was responsible tried to ignorantly yank off the inner linings.

I have checked the passenger side after folding down the seats and it was fine. This makes sense as the technician was only working on the driver side after realizing that he would need more time to figure how to do the work I requested. In addition, the car is one month old and I have never touched the inner linings.

Making a mistake like this is fine as everyone makes mistakes, however, failing to inform the customer of the said mistake is extremely unprofessional and unacceptable.

I never leave reviews like this as I am honestly lazy but I thought that this type of situation is extreme and would recommend others to avoid this dealership.

I was planning to make Scarborough Kia my main service location to get my oil changed but I have decided to drive 30kms and keep going to Plaza Kia.

This dealership deserves 10 stars. Everyone should only buy car from them, period. My leased Kia was about to mature. Tried several dealerships around and they all told me they cannot process the buy out and asked me to go back to where I purchased it or would charge me ridicules paperwork fee. Scarbo Kia is the only dealership that gave me a straightforward and hassle free buy out experience thus far. During the communication with them, I can feel that they are transparent, honest, and trustworthy people. I dealt with the sales and finance manager and they all gave me the same level of trust. Definitely will look nowhere and buy my next car from their store or their sister stores.

Don't understand why they got several 1 star rating recently. Probably due to lots of recall service request to fulfill.

This review concerns the service department. (The sale department was good - I have reviewed them under a different account). I had scheduled maintenance service but when I got there they had no record of my appointment. After some time spent searching it turned out they had it under someone else's name. That solved we had to go over what needed to be done three times (oil change, tire swap, key programming). I then had to beg for a ride back home. My car was supposed to be done in 2½ hours so when I still had not heard after 5 hours I called. Yes, my car was ready but it needed a few things done. The 5 o'clock surprise and given we had bought the car three months and 3000 kms before at this Kia dealership, a bit of a surprise indeed. They wanted to sell me on stuff like transmission fluid, cabin filter - some of which were legit but some of which sounded like a typical easy add-on sale and some of which I felt should have been done when we bought the car. I declined any of the extras and arranged for a pick-up at 5pm. At 4:45 I received a call saying my car was ready. I explained I knew that and I had already arranged for a ride. Now I was told the shuttle driver would call me when he was ready to leave. I was asked if I would be picking up my phone as they said they had called me five times throughout the day and no one ever picked up. Nonsense as I was home all day and the phone never rung. There was a definite tone of attitude in the gentleman's voice.
Next thing I know the shuttle driver shows up without calling me. When I got to the dealership the gentleman I had spoken to on the phone was nicer in person than on the phone. He apologized for having dialed the wrong number. I did however have to dispute the bill.
So all in all not the best experience and I will have go back to my local garage.

This concern the sales department - I have given the maintenance department a lousy review. We bought our Kia Rondo in January 2019 and had a great experience with Osvaldo. Very pleasant, polite, no-nonsense honest person. The only reason I would not give a 5-star rating is that his colleague Raj came up to me and asked why I wasn't dealing with him. I had spoken to him about a new car once but eventually settled on a second-hand Rondo on a day he was not in. and my wife and I really took a liking to Osvaldo I do not care for commission hunters and that situation made me feel uncomfortable..

This was my first time here. Took my 2019 Sorento in for service. They were polite and fast. Didn't like the fact that there is no shuttle service after 9am or before 3pm. Fortunately they serviced my car very quickly so it wasn't a problem at all. If I'm there for a longer period of time outside of their shuttle service window, then I either have to wait there or figure out alternate arrangements to get around.

Walked into their lot one evening to inquire about their new Kia Soul. After walking around for 10 minutes, it felt a little uncomfortable since no one approached us or offered help. We ended up approaching this lady who just handed us a paper listing sticker prices saying currently there are no other offers. Basically a futile visit since the same information can be had from Kia's website. The whole point of visiting a car-dealership is the human experience where you talk to someone about your needs and your interest and they attempt to workout a deal with you putting you behind one of their wheels - or, I guess, its just me. Ended up getting a Mazda pretty soon after that and couldn't be happier with my purchase.

This was our third car purchase in the last 6 years and by far the best. From my initial phone call with Osvaldo he listened to all my info/requests and prepared ahead of time so that when we arrived it was just straightforward and to the point.
There was absolutely no sales pressure at all from Osvaldo. We had previously gone to another Kia dealership and got pricing so we had an idea of what a good price would be. When he presented us with the first quote, it had already beat the other dealerships quote by $2000. Then, without having to bargain much, he lowered it another $2000.
We had an ideal price in mind and they surpassed it. Very satisfied with the experience especially when comparing to the two previous car purchases. They were not bad, but not great. I would say neutral at best. This experience however we would describe as great. Left the dealership with a great feeling of satisfaction.
Highly recommended. My advice for anyone looking to purchase / lease is to shop around at a couple of dealerships to compare pricing. I am confident Scarboro Kia will beat them all. Our previous vehicle was also Kia that was purchased and serviced at another dealership, but after this experience we will definitely be switching our service for the new car to Scarboro Kia.

Having done extensive research and short listing a group of manufactures my spouse and I embarked on spending an entire Saturday visiting all the dealers that featured vehicles that interested us. In total we visited 6 dealerships and were left most impressive with Kia's Sorento offering. The price point and feature rich offering just couldn't be ignored.

We reached out to Scarboro Kia and were put in touch with Ed Chau. We found Ed to be very pleasant, far from pushy and a genuinely nice guy. We were offered straight forward pricing and plenty of patience as we considered different features and options.

We were also helped out by RobWoodward. Rob can be described in my opinion a person that eats, sleeps and is totally consumed by the KIA brand. (in a good way)

We were bit by the KIA bug and are excited to begin new journeys in our Sorento.

If you are in the GTA and looking for a KIA look no farther than ScarboroKIA. This dealership is 'right' sized and leaves you feeling that they genuinely care about their customers whereas the larger dealerships don't have the warmth with experienced at ScarboroKIA.

All I can say is, it is rare to find people that sell vehicles, that are not pushy, to get the sale, or obnoxious, when they realize you are just looking. I went to about 10 different car dealers, looking for the right crossover vehicle for me. I first went to Scarboro Kia in the "just looking" phase and met with Raj Dey. The guy is just a firecracker of friendliness and customer satisfaction. I told him I was just looking and even though the dealership was quite busy and he was the only one there at the time, he got me the keys and told me the check the car out. I did and made some notes etc. I gave Raj back the keys and he said come back anytime. After weeding out the vehicles I either didn't like or the dealers I didn't, I went back to Scarboro Kia and met Raj again and took out a 2013 Kia Sorento for a test drive. I really liked the car, but it was a bit out of my planned budget. Raj told me that he is going to do his best to get me this vehicle, with a big smile of course. This is where I first met manger, Rob Woodward, also a very upbeat and friendly guy. The two of them worked hard to get the price in my range with many perks and bonuses as well. Rob really went out of his way, responding to text messages instantly, even on his days off. Bottom line is, if you in the market for a new vehicle, check out Scarboro Kia. Helpful staff! Raj was able to find me a great deal on a used car within my budget. The stressful experience of finding a reliable vehicle was made much easier once I went to Kia and spoke with Raj. Although they did not have anything that met my criteria on the lot, he took my number and within a couple of hours called me with information on a vehicle. When I expressed interest, he immediately went to another dealership in Markham and picked it up for me. This was a pleasant experience and when I am ready to buy another vehicle, I will certainly go back to Kia Scarborough.
