I had a check engine light come on while working in Peterborough this morning. I called service and talked to Dan who walked me through a suggestion as to what it could be. He also told me to contact the dealership in Peterborough and ask if their technicians could scan my car and tell me if it was ok to drive home. The dealership in Peterborough was no help and couldn’t even “squeeze” me in. I called back in and talked to service in Kingston again. The gentleman on the phone told me as long as my car drove alright, to keep an eye on my gages and to drive home, someone there would scan it for me even though they were booked up all day too. I arrived in Kingston and talked to Dan again when I got here. He immediately walked out to my car, scanned it, cleared it and assured me my car was fine. Thanks Dan, the customer service I received today was awesome from Kingston KIA!!

Mark, Jeff, Randy, and Jordan did everything in their power to keep us excited for our new car. Staff here are fantastic and their vehicles are reasonably priced & financed. Thank you Randy in particular - he was our sales rep and had to take quite a few phone calls from me!

Thought I had a computer problem with my Seltos so when I took it in for an oil change I asked them to check it out. They did and found no issues which was a relief. They did the diagnosis at no charge which was another relief. I did not even buy the car at Kingston Kia and they went above and beyond thank you.

I was very unhappy with the service here. We had brakes completely replaced over a year ago (approx.. 20K km) for over $1000. There was no suggestion that a caliper may freeze, nor that this should be a concern. They did freeze, and now, with zero discount (and an indication that I had not serviced the car at Kia and thus it was not discovered) they are charging me full price (without a discount) for new brakes.

Jordan was great we bought a 2021 Kia Soul EV. Low pressure everything was dealt with professionally even when we changed who was buying the vehicle near the end. There was a problem and they didn’t have the level 1 charger and had to order one. After a couple weeks it was on our doorsteps. Questions answered promptly both before and after the sale. Everyone was polite friendly and answered all questions in an informational manner with no pressure. Highly recommend drove from Ottawa to Kingston and will do it again for our next Kia.

Terrible experience trying to buy a car.
Had an approval out of town but the car was few weeks behind and Kingston Kia just received one.
Went in and did a credit app and they made the monthly payments out much higher then an out of town Kia. Then made me sign my ownership over put down a deposit and said couldn’t get an approval.
They respond to a text or email usually within 7-10 hours very slow and very rude once responding.
Well once they had an approval I had to put money down with my trade and payments were higher then my truck which I was getting $5000 over what I paid. Just scammers and don’t know how to do their job.

So I went in to kia and I had a undercoat sprayed on underneath recall . First thing is the guy seemed to not really care from his attitude. Second they shouldn't of evan done that recall as pickering wouldn't. Anyways kingston kia is a no go for me pretty sad.

I choose a car based on the vehicle and the dealership. Love my new K5 but, and it is hard to believe given how much I love this model, I love this dealer even more. I shopped all the brands/dealers for this car purchase: Jordan knew his stuff and always returned calls and emails in a flash. By contrast, I often felt I knew more than the sales reps at other dealerships. When I asked Jordan or the staff at Kingston Kia they either had an answer or got me one within minutes. By contrast, Honda told me to “google” for information. At other dealerships you might meet one other person besides the sales rep: at Kia they brought out staff from each area to welcome me to the “family” . Trust me....these folks are good people

Ps. I know it is hard to know whether user reviews can be trusted. I teach marketing and business strategy and consult with some of the worlds biggest brands so I hope I can say that I speak from a position of expertise.

I bought a new Kia sorento at the end of 2015. Great team back then, Great team now. We used Megan who was great to deal with, 5 months before we sat down to buy a 2019 Sedona. Bill did everything he could to try and get us more for our higher mileage trade. I've bought many new vehicles over the years, Mazda, Chevy, Ford. Bill Fellows called me about 3 months after I bought my Sorento to see how I was enjoying it. No Owner has ever called me to see how I liked my new vehicle.

Initially I gave a 5 star review but recent events have made me re-evaluate my experience. Due to an error at the factory a protective piece was left off my vehicle and has since developed rust which will take 3-4 days to fix, leaving me without a vehicle. I would have hoped that the dealership would be more than happy to show that they support their customers but instead of a courtesy car we get nothing.

2016 Kia Rio well within it's warranty and it has had the left rear brakes seize up reaching temperatures well above what a rear rim and tire should be exposed to which was repaired at our cost through Kingston Kia. approximately 30000km later went back in for a slight bumping noise to find the front right upper caliper bolt was missing with no sign of it ever being there. Kingston Kia replaced the bolt reluctantly and sent me on my way. They did mention I should have the brakes serviced again at my cost as the right rear was dragging. To no surprise the left rear has less than 10% of it's pads left and the other three sets are still in nearly new condition after only 30000 km . Kingston Kia's "dealer principal" says I should trade or sell it followed by hanging up on me. Kia Canada has only recommended travelling to a different dealer and that brakes are my problem and my problem alone. First car and last new car I will ever by from this corporation or any of their affiliates, as I feel more confident with the safety of a quality used car from the almost any other manufacturer than I would in a new Kia. Very friendly staff as long as you are continuously giving them money though I will agree on that part.

Now to be clear... buying my new kia was a great experience. HOWEVER the service manager was completely rude and ignorant when I went in for a oil change and asked about the roof rack on my sorento. I bought it brand new with the vehicle this year (2018) and the plugs on the ends of the cross bars have fallen out on their own. When I asked about them the bald guy said I had to buy a whole new kit. I said no I just need those pieces replaced as it causes a loud howling noise when driving. He said "yeah like I said buy a new kit" I said no... this is new... the parts should be replaced. He then said "you're not the first one to complain and I told you you have to buy a new kit" he at this point had raised his voice and stood up.. rolled his eyes and walked away from me!!!! Worst customer service I have EVER had in a garage!!

Sales staff are excellent. No pressure during any part of the experience, and they bent over backwards to get me behind the wheel in time for a major weekend trip.
Service staff are also great, warranty is exactly what it's rumoured to be and there's no surprises. They did more than what I expected.
