Usually I try and test before reviewing. I can safely say that you are in good hand if you go to Kia Dartmouth. My car needed battery replacement after a month of purchase and they replaced it with new one without any cost and also provided me a temporary car until they sort out the issue. Dylan provided exceptional sales and after sales customer service. I also need to thank Daniel who helped me with great sales service when contacted last year. Overall very satisfied and will buy again and recommend my friends this great place.

Not happy with my service so far. I lost my car key and had to order another directly from the dealer... the lack of information that was given to me is appalling. I was told.my key would be in friday when ordered on tuesday.m friday part of my key came but the other part came from Vancouver and wont be in until monday... they never disclosed 2 different location for parts I was only ever told Friday I'd have my keys... Monday comes around... I go to get my key and they then inform me my car would have to be at kia to have the key programmed. I talked with parts staff every day for a week no one ever mentioned my car would have to be there so after $500 for a tow I'm now on the hook to tow. The last of information given is infuriating customer service is everything and they dropped the ball.

I found a used vehicle that was both in my price range and the exact color I was looking for.. This is going to be as smooth as a car purchase can be.
I contacted Dartmouth Kia two days in a row trying to set up a time to go over to see a vehicle, I was told it was new stock and in the 'reconditioning center' and they would contact me. After giving it the weekend I called back and was told this vehicle has already been sold. But how could that be? I just spoke with someone on Friday that assured me I would be contacted as soon as I could come see it?? The reason they game me was that it was sold 'sight unseen' to someone else.
I wanted to go over to see it, I made ever attempt I could without forcing a visit. I am sorry I did not commit to a $20,000 used vehicle over the phone
without going to see it first.
I was not contacted before they sold it to someone else, nor did I receive a call after they sold it to maybe apologize (ha), or maybe to attempt to help me find a similar vehicle ($). I had to reach out and have them tell me it was already sold.

I purchased a car from a Halifax O'regans a few yaers ago after moving here and it was a great experience. Dartmouth Kia is now 2 for 2 for terrible customer relations with me.. I will not bother here anymore.
(a positive to note, the woman on the phone that was telling me the bad news was friendly about it)

LIARS & CHEATERS
Sales person agreed to "throw in" Studded Winter Tires on Rims (at no cost) - then tried to bury an extra $740.00 in the original purchase price - hoping I wouldn't notice the price difference when I was signing the Finance papers! When I brought it to their attention- (Thank God I had taken a photo of the original paper she was working on as she wouldn't give me a paper copy of it) Amanda LIED saying she only agreed to "Studds" not the tires & rims. The Manager would not even look at my evidence & said the price of the tires&rims had to be added to the purchase price. I pulled out of the deal (I had already signed most of the papers) The fiance guy agreed to tear up the contracts but Refused to put in writing that the Deal was Not going to take money from my Bank Account.
I went there with my friend Paul because he & his wife have bought 3 cars there in the past 4 years. If this is how they treat Valued Customers - BEWARE - LIARS & CHEATERS.

I've been a customer of O'Regan's since buying my first car. I can't believe how awful the service is. I've gone back repeatedly because I have an extended warranty on my vehicle and this appear to be the best option. This is definitely the last time my car will be in with O'Regans. You bring your car in to leave while you're at work and have to wait hours after work to get it because they don't bring it in until the end of the day; They give misinformation so when you purchase a part for them to use it is incorrect (even when you have their advice in writing) - meaning you're now out more money; and to top it off you're patronized for not knowing more about cars - if I knew how to be a mechanic I wouldn't be there to get my car repaired! Would welcome speaking with a manager.

Simply: Blown away. The story: Our 2008 Mazda has 'one tire in the junkyard'. It was time. I mentioned our need for a new car to my cousin Amanda, GM at O'Regan's KIA Dartmouth. Hubby was dreaming of a used luxury vehicle.

Within 2 days, we received THE message: A 2014 Cadillac SRX had been traded in. The owners were snowbirds who never drove it in the winter and felt they needed a smaller vehicle (traded in for a KIA Soul). We couldn't believe our luck. It was pristine with only 44k kms on it and loaded. But could we make it work financially and what about the added complication of taking it across provincial borders?

Kim Coneita worked with us tirelessly to get an approval and Steven MacDonald got us walkaway protection and an amazing warranty...all at a great price. Amanda ensured we had everything we needed to get back to Ontario. All we had to do was sign! I booked flights for my son and hubby. When they arrived at the dealership, the Caddy was waiting, all shined up and spotless. With a generous care package and cooler of treats for the ride home, my 11 year old son was over the moon.

You might be thinking, "well maybe your great experience is because you're dealing with family." Family or not, we had no intention of purchasing a vehicle from Nova Scotia and there was certainly no expectation for us to make that journey. As a matter of fact, if you've ever done business with family, it can be tricky. I'm sure there's a lot of additional work involved to make that happen but we certainly never felt it. "Don't worry, we'll look after it," said everyone we dealt with. This level of care and service extended from first contact to well after my guys drove off the lot. Amanda even called to make sure the satellite radio was working.

I honestly dreaded the car buying process. The time, frustration, decisions, paperwork, etc had me super anxious and overwhelmed. Amanda and her amazing team made it all seamless, painless and enjoyable. Hubby got his #dreamcar and you can bet when our Mazda finally goes to the junkyard in the sky, I'm getting the #KIAofMyDreams. Thank you so much O'Regan's KIA Dartmouth. We couldn't be more thrilled!

Guys, BE CAREFUL!.
I had my brand new Kia from Dartmouth and after 3 years, an issue came up with the engine that they kept trying to fix for the past 3 years !!!!! and they even changed parts of the engine....but DIDN'T work !!
Over the past 3 years, I was patient enough to keep back and forth with the hope that it gets fixed. A lot of manipulation and excuses and dragging time to get the warranty expired. I extended the warranty and paid more than 2400 for another 5 years!.
Last funny thing, they came back to say "We can not do anything further" we can clean the engine instead rather to fix it!!! LOL. Very funny!!
Furthermore, a new issue came up with the transmission that they declined it completely as they couldn't appreciate it!!!!! The experts could not get it!! As a customer, I was able to get it and they couldn't......VERY UNPROFESSIONAL!!
Needless to say here what they do in consuming time saying "technician is not free", "Technician is busy", Technician is in vacation", Technician is in a course".....etc. Week after another......and so on...
At the personal level, Don Faulkner is a great guy. But for a fact, they could not fix the problem for 3 years and now declining it!!! VERY FUNNY.
I need to get "Better Business Bureau" in the picture!
I would not EVER recommend them to buy, lease and even to pass by for viewing!.

I went to the dealer with a warranty repair on my 2011 Kia Sorrento which required to have the rear lift gate replaced . Kia Canada covered the new lift gate and painting but the dealer didn't due the job , instead farmed it out and now its a different shade than the rest of the car and they didn't seam seal the new lift gate either so in a years time it will start rusting again. i spoke to the service manager and got no wheres so i went to Kia Canada who in turn says it would be the dealers responcibily to make sure that the color blended with the rest of the car(bumper , quarter panels and roof). i have been driving Kia since 2004 and now thinking of changing brands were i wouldn't have to deal with O'Reagans as i feel that the issue should have been fixed not kept passing the buck onto someone else
