Bought a new Sedona LX+ 2020 in February from West Coast Kia. Doug Klinck told us there are USB plugs in the back seats, that was a lie. Doug Klinck told us the back windows do open out like Caravan does, that was a lie. We asked about rebates and cash back and Doug Klinck told us there was none. I am sure I saw on Kia Canada there was rebates and cash back for Sedona in February and but sure how much for LX+.
Also, had to bring back the van two weeks later because two tires went flat. Service guy said there were small leaks from the stem valves because they were not tight.

A positive buying experience, of our brand new car. Sales rep Pierre was very patient with us, as we took a while to decide! Toss up between new and 1-year old/used was made more challenging because the used car was not particularly clean (it had been sitting under some trees, apparently).
Personally did not prefer the "rock" music playing in the showroom. Something quieter & more peaceful would be easier on the head.

The most amazing staff from across the board. They treated my 4.5 year old like gold, including providing her with a large "parking lot" balloon for her to take home and gave my 1.5 year old plenty to keep him busy while we worked through the details of our Stinger. My Husband is a essential worker and our Car started to make a horrible metal scrapping sound. i called to see when we could get our car in to get looked at. I spoke to Michelle who was an Angel! due to Covid they had stopped loaner cars and rides ( understandable) i asked if there was anything they could do, this is our only car and my husband is working 10 hours a day and 6 days a week. Michelle said give me some time , called us back and was able to get us a loaner car and an appointment right away. As it turned out it was our brakes and tires needed replacing. Michelle and Kia went above and beyond to help us and ensured my husband could still get to work. we will never go anywhere else! Kia is our #1 because of people like MIchelle and the Service Team!

Had car towed there last Thursday. It’s not were we wanted to go, but roadside will only take you to nearest dealership. We have never gone there previously. They said they were busy and may not get to it today. Friday they said hopefully we can get to it today. Saturday they said hopefully we get to it. Monday they said, well the technician left on Thursday and hasn’t been back. Hopefully tomorrow.

We use this car for business. That’s now 3 business days that they have had our car and we have lost wages. Now going to tow car to another dealership to be fixed.

PS - it needs a new battery. Easily a 10 min job that they cannot complete in 3 days.

My car was washed and vacuumed - it was cleaner than when I brought it in. When I was putting my summer tires away, I realized they had cleaned them. Very impressed. Great service experience! They find the things I forget to tell them about and leave no gold fish cracker left behind. They’ve entertained my children. Brought me coffee. They’ve tucked lose wires from my own camera installation. Repaired leaky tires that I’ve been slow to deal with. These guys are concerned about doing a good job and I know that when I leave my car in their service I’ll drive away with a vehicle in much better shape than I brought it. Very negative experience at this dealership. After a week on the phone was quoted a final price everything all in, as well as a good price for my trade in. Once there everything started changing and the price was significantly higher than quoted and they were unwilling to budge. Took my deposit and left. Found another Kia dealership that was willing to do business and completed the sale with me for pretty much my original quoted price from West Coast. Sale lost for these guys and pretty shady practices.

Had our 2010 KIA Forte service there. They are really professional and friendly. I don't know a lot about cars but when I ask them about the service they recommended, they always try to do it within my budget. The waiting room is bright and clean. Seats are comfortable and the shuttle service are prompt. It's in a convenient location, right beside the Meadowtown Mall so you can do some shopping while you wait.

DO NOT BUY A KIA!
I purchased 2 "lemons" in the past year. The first was a 2011 Kia Sportage turbo that had endless problems. After 5 visits - in a month and a half- trying to find the issues I did not feel safe driving it anymore. I was told my only option was to trade it in. In doing so I had to take on a bunch of negative equity as they did not acknowledge that it was a "lemon."
Now I have a 2014 Kia Optima turbo that was their dealer demo and I was told it was in great condition. With in 2 weeks of owning it I was having serious issues with the car. After 4 visits of them trying to conscience me that there was nothing seriously wrong with my vehicle they tried to send me home - my car sounded like my boyfriends diesel truck starting up-. Clearly there was something wrong. I was leaving to go visit my parents in Kamloops driving the coquihalla in my car. If I didn't bring my boyfriend with me they would have let me take the car and go to Kamloops instead he put up a huge fight insisting there was something wrong finally they acknowledged the fact that the car didn't sound normal and ran some tests. After a month and a half and them replacing the entire engine I picked up the car and well driving it home it was so far out of alignment I could turn corners without touching the steering wheel. I drive right back to the dealer ship they did an alignment but in my opinion it should have never left the dealership in that state. I don't under stand how some body could have test drive my car to get the brand new engine in it and not noticed how far out of alignment it was. Instantly I questioned the quality of the repair. I lost all confidence in my brand new Kia. Now I am stuck with this unreliable vehicle that now is having another issue everything I step in the breaks something clunks in the suspension and I can feel it under my feet. Every time I drive I question whether I am going to make it safely to where I am going. I explained these issues to Kia Canada and to put it in polite terms they told me to go pound sand. They saw no problems with any of the issues and in their mind these were normal occurrences. After reading this would YOU ever buy a Kia??

I've walked out of car dealerships many a time, but I was surprised right from the start talking to Brent. They gave me a fantastic price for my trade-in and I am more than thrilled with my new Soul. They are honest, not pushy and put you at ease immediately. I love these guys and would come back to them any day. Ask for Brent, he's the kind of guy you want to work with and trust.
