When my car broke down out if province, I didn't know who to call. So I called Justin, and he did everything he could to help me. From calling a tow truck to letting the Calgary KIA know what happened. He did not have to help me, but he stopped his day and took care of a customer.

We traded in our 2008 Honda Civic for 2017 Soul at a good price. We were very well taken care of, coming in on 3 separate occasions for literally as long as it took. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. Our children were impressed. Our 10 year old son wants to work there now, and our 15 year old daughter said it sounded like a really nice place to work at, from what I told her! And my new car...well, where do I begin? It is a 2021 Kia Seltos SX Turbo, with more options, better handling, and better fuel economy than my 2018 Mini Cooper S Countryman. I wanted to share the experience I had at Kamloops Kia with everyone to view.
The first time I came into Kamloops Kia friendly Reception and sales staff. Took the seltos for a drive really enjoyed it. Had a terrible conversation with the sales manager John he was quite disrespectful. But you can’t let one bad apple spoil the bunch. I reached out to Steve who is the owner and mentioned my experience. Steve made sure to go out of his way to take care of us and make sure we got in the right hands. Between Steve and Gordon for the management team I can’t say anyone would have a better experience. To top that off we had Ashley deliver our new Kia seltos to the door for another test drive which is also a plus for test drives as I wasn’t able to drive. This goes to show anyone interested in purchasing the service they have. Ashley is full of energy and just like Steve and Gordon aims to give the best possible service.
If anyone is looking for straight shooters and a great experience in general I’d recommend visiting Kamloops Kia. From Steve and Gord, reception and sales staff you know you will be in good hands.

Not a good experience at all. the sales manager totally rushed to his conclusion about which car I would go for according to him and didn't even ask my requirements. I wanted Kia Seltos Turbo (the top model) and the oway our conversation started with him saying that they only have Ex model and nothing below. Without even listening to me and telling me that they dont anything below EX thats just too soon to judge a customer.
And after him saying that he had experience of 34 years in sales that judgmental customer service is not good. I never do this low rating and this is the first time I am giving 1 star to anyone.

I had been looking for a new car for some time and narrowed my choice to either a Kia Soul or another car. Everyone at Kia was so wonderful, understanding and respectful of my dilemma. They never undermined or talked negatively about my other possible consideration and never tried to push me towards Kia. Rather they were patient and responsive to all my questions and the ultimate professionals whilst also being so friendly and caring. I am so very pleased I decided to go with them and can honesty say it was the people element that tipped the scales for me in making this huge decision.
Everyone from Sheridan as my first point of contact to Ashley for doing my initial test drive to Luc for helping with my many questions and Gord for going over all my Soul trim options and Judge for clearly reviewing the purchase details to Rob in the service department were simply amazing.

After our most recent experience, we have adopted Kamloops Kia as family. Our relationship started in 2015 when Justin (aka Turbo) won us over with his expert product knowledge and winning attitude—he had a tough job to convince us to leave our regular car brand at first, but provided the info we needed that made it easy to make our purchase with confidence. We have been to the service department continually since, and find their prices and services competitive. To show our support and satisfy our curiosity, we accepted an invite for their 2019 Canada Day event. Again, the staff were amazing—Luc, Gord, Judge, Ashley and Sheridan—and they honestly made an offer that we couldn’t refuse. Took my Sportage in to have a broken tail light repaired and asked to have my summer tires installed and for the staff to investigate an unusual noise from under the vehicle. Was told I "really needed" $3500.00 worth of work. Took the vehicle to Kal Tire who did an inspection and advised my problem was a badly worn brake pad on the left rear (which the Kia technician completely missed even though he had the wheel off) and that the bill would be less than $350.00. I was shopping for a car at this point and considering Kia. After this experience I bought a Toyota.
Service dept/mechanics need major training. I had my 2007 sportage serviced - took them a few days to diagnose that needed new catalytic converter. Then when it was picked up started making noises. Was then told we needed new engine. Decided to buy a new car (not a Kia because husband so upset with this dealership). We had a mechanic friend look over the car to see if any value and he said new engine not required but Kia mechanic had dropped a bushing in time belt so new timing belt needed to be replaced. Kamloops Kia is not taking ownership of this error. DO NOT TRUST THE MECHANICS !!!!!!!! will not let me post with no stars
The staff was very helpful and welcoming. Everyone tried their best to get us what we wanted. They got me approved for financing very quickly. They got me the monthly installments that I wanted and gave me the car I liked. Kudos to Kia Kamloops!

After researching used cars for many months, I finally chose 2 vehicles to test drive at Kamloops Kia. Numerous friends had told me not to purchase my car in Kamloops because of chronic overpricing in this city. When I decided on the vehicle I wanted, the Price was Right and I purchased a barely broken in 2018 Sorento from Richard. Richard was patient and informative, answering my questions and challenges with clarity. Judge worked to get me the best financing and I now have a New to Me car that I will feel safe and secure in, no matter where I am.
