I purchased a used truck from Southtown last week. Needless to say every step along the way was more painful than the previous. I first called to inquire about a vehicle and Max was extremely helpful. He was able to tell me the history of the vehicle and understand what I was looking for when it came to features and price. Then came the sales manager Eddie. Eddie was quick to see that the truck was what I was looking for. He wanted a commitment and a close. "So Tyler, what do we have to do to get a commitment from you today?" he asked. I replied "Eddie, that truck with a tonneau cover, and a price of $26000 off the lot." He agreed by replying "$26000 off the lot and I wont lose a deal over a tonneau." (We agreed before that I was ok with a used cover.)

Fast forward two days later. I meet with Max and drive the truck. He informs me there has been some issues finding a tonneau but he is working on it. We drive the truck and I am happy with it. Its in my price range, and all the features meet my expectations. Eddie meets with us and asks us if we are ready to buy the truck. I am. He says alright $26000 plus GST and we will be ready to go. "Whoa whoa whoa, I thought we agreed to $26000 off the lot. Which means taxes in no?" I ask. Eddie replies "Off the lot still means plus GST. Had you have said "All in" I would have known you were including GST." They still agree to working on the tonneau. They walk away to try to talk about the price and get consultation from above. In comes Senior Sales Manage Mike. Mike starts by saying "He's not here to say no." Due to the condition of the vehicle and the extra cost with the GST, we asked if they would be willing to cover undercoating? Mike replied with "Absolutely not." When we ask about the price he begins to try to discredit me and calling me a liar that I can't even get my story straight. He then goes on to say the price is a great deal and that "He doesn't even want to sell us the vehicle anymore."

DO NOT GO HERE!!! DO NOT TRUST THEM or their ADDS.
They are lairs! When I saw the Kijiji add I called to see if the CAR WAS STILL AVAILABLE and if I can take it on a test drive, they said I could. So the day comes when I’m able to see the car. I call in to make sure the car is still available. (My brother toke TIME OFF WORK so we can go see the car) As we are heading to the dealership I text Eddie the salesman and tell him we are heading over. He says “no problem”. When we get there and we ask for him. My brother and I go to checkout the car, while he grabs the keys. He comes out saying the “CAR IS SOLD...it was sold this morning, Would you like to see other cars”.
Like why would you tell us before we came...we drove from the west to the south over 30 min drive to see a SOLD CAR? Very disappointing. I wish I could put 0stars instead of one.

Terrible experience!! with these guys Bought a vehicle from here back in January 1st day drove fine, next hand problems with the whole electrical with the no air conditioning system because dash panel was faulty, so they put me in 4 loaner vehicles in the space of 4 months !!!! So I finally get my vehicle back and now there's still issues and lots of em, all electrical which can be costly , after paying alot of money for a vehicle now these guys don't want anything to do with me, I bought this vehicle 5 months and I've probably on drove it for 3 weeks, called me everyday to get ya in to get me into now that there's more stuff wrong they won't get in touch with me, I've called left messages with sales managers still nothing, you sold me a vehicle that's completely faulty!!

Simple amazing experience. No up sells, friendly service. Parts are sold cheaper here than other dealership. With out a shadow of a doubt this is my go to dealership for anything. Would highly recommend this dealership to anyone.

We have been looking for a car and have been to several dealerships across Edmonton. From the moment I walked in 40 mins to closing on a Friday night, to the actual pick up of the vehicle there was nothing but positive, welcoming and service focused energy from the team at south town. Especially Samson; he took notice that it was my birthday 2 days later and he sent a text in the morning wishing me a good birthday. He was down to earth, no pressure but well connected, ensuring I had all questions answered. Everyone from the assistant sales manager to both finance associates made a point of connecting with us in a personal way. I had an extended test drive, taking the vehicle home for the weekend to really know it was right. And the dealership totally cleaned and detailed it so it was sparkling new to us when we came back to finalize the purchase. All in, no comparison to several other dealers - including others owned by Go Auto group. We would definitely be back for a future vehicle and will refer our friends and family.

He was straightforward, knowledgeable and super friendly! There was no pressure whatsoever and my husband and I both wish we could have bought the van we did from him instead. Went in for an oil, and was out within a half hour. However when I left the lot I started hearing a knock in my steering that was not there when I arrived. After 30 min of laying in the snow trying to diagnose my new problem I noticed my skid plate was installed incorrectly and was wearing into a boot on my steering rack. The sound was easily noticeable from
Inside the car and should have been caught by a service technician and brought to my attention but was not.

And then he worked even harder to get me the trade-in value I needed to make the deal work. Heather completed the deal with bank and got me an incredible interest rate. I unfortunately have to change my 5-star review down to a one-star review based on current circumstances. I made an offer at this dealership to buy a 2016 Dodge Grand caravan for. 16500 ALL IN, and the offer was accepted. everything went very well at the dealership the sales rep was very good to me. I was told by the finance department that my loan was going to be $12,500. I didn't realize until later that the dealership did not honour the agreement of 16500 ALL IN. They added on several other hidden fees that I did not agree to, making my loan $2,500 more than I was told it was going to be. I contacted them and they told me I would be contacted by a manager the next day but the call never came. I do not recommend this dealership because of the dishonesty.

I was recently contacted by GoAuto offering to upgrade my 2008 truck to a newer one. I ended up with a great used truck at a payment and interest rate I can live with.

The road from start to finish was a painful one sadly. Sales did a great job (Shout out to Alexander!!) finding the right vehicle for me, listened to what my needs were, and worked within my restrictions and interests. The pain point for me was at least 5 times I was told that "the approval was in place", when in fact, no approval was even attempted (so after getting my hopes up on a new truck at one payment/rate, was told that the approval was now at a higher rate/payment. Over. And. Over.). I actually walked away more than once, to be called back because "they'd got an approval", only to learn again, they had not.

After this roller coaster, they (finance) was FINALLY able to find a deal that fit my needs. But by now, its been a week, 5 trips to the dealership, and i was really frustrated.

There were a few minor issues we discovered right after I took possession, and they were great about taking care of them. I am very pleased with my new truck, and outside of the issues with the finance department, everyone was great.

My experience with Go Dodge was hit and miss. On one hand, Sheldon was great and got me into a vehicle that i am very happy with. On the other hand, i definitely have some complaints that i think should have been dealt with by the dealership. The car was advertised as having 2 keys, but i was only given one key. Upon receiving my car, one of the employees gave me the 1 of 2 keys and said that's how used works sometimes, you just get 1 key.. Sheldon reached out to me multiple times after my purchase saying he was still looking into that second key, but ultimately came up dry. While i appreciate him trying to assist me in getting the key, i do think it behooves the dealership to supply a second key, whether that is a brand new one, or the original key from the car. Additionally, i have had the car for about 3 weeks now, and the oil life on the vehicle is at 15%, and i just ran out of washer fluid yesterday. Definitely feel like small services like that should be handled before purchasing a vehicle. Finally, when speaking with the finance guy, i asked why the interest rate was so high when i have good credit. He told me the rate is what it is. When i tried to inquire further he ignored me and i still have not heard anything back.

Well. I did sign up for the goauto tire storage I was offered last year when I did got my service done. The advertising actually says: We at GoAuto store your tires and one point says that the advantage is they clean the wheels before they store them. I'm sure you are guessing it. Goauto.ca doesn't store your tires, they have a 3rd party doing it. Today I did find out all of this because my brand new tires and wheels with only 1,000 km on them weren't washed and one wheel was actually badly scratched on not one but around 9 spots. Means Southtown Chrysler has the trouble to replace one expensive 20" wheel now! My appointment was at 9 a.m.. Dropped my Jeep at 8:25 and it was only booked in for a winter to summer tire wheel swap. No installation of tires etc. I wasn't done in 2 hours! After figuring out all what was wrong, I finally left at 12:35 p.m. So what now? Don't know how you reading the sign? Who stores them and what is included? Let me know! Thanks. Btw. That's far off 5 star service in my opinion.
