We have been loyal Landrover customers for 15 years having owned at least 15 Range and Landrovers. 3 years ago we leased a new Landrover Discovery from Budd's in Oakville, On. My wife is fastidious when it comes to caring for our cars and even took the trouble and paid to have the car detailed before we returned it to Budd's at the termination of the lease. When we returned the car to Ronda the woman in charge of leasing, she said the car looked fine and there were no problems. After that there was only hell to pay. One week later, I received a bill for $1750.00 for miniscule barely perceptible lines in the paint, which is normal wear and tear. Here's the sly and evasive ruse Budd's uses. According to the manager, Budd's is not responsible for the charges but the company Canadian Dealer Lease Services Inc, makes all those decisions and he has no say in the matter. So , a company you have no relationship with and folks you have never met can arbitrarily charge you whatever they want and YOU HAVE NO RECOURSE. We argued in futility and the manager of the dealership simply said it was not his problem. We have been so frustrated with this rip off with Landrover absolving themselves of any responsibility that we feel other customers should understand how your typical 'car salesman' remains a typical car salesman. Good luck and make sure you squeeze every last penny out of your deal because you will have to pay up in the end.

I just picked my second Ranger Rover with Dan Stuart at Budds. He was great in the leasing and getting me the vehicle that I wanted. He even remembered that I wanted a red one three years after the fact. Additionally, when I turned the first Range Rover in at end of lease, I was surprised by a bill for wear and tear (note that I had the vehicle and it was only 44k after 3 years and I had it cleaned inside and out every other week and no accidents or damage) which I thought was unreasonable. Dan helped to ensure that a revised final invoice, which was more fair which included pending service that was due that month, was provided to me. He worked with his internal staff as well as the leasing company to make this happen. It was appreciated. Additionally, Budds is always flexible with their waiting are and business centre.

I visited this location two weeks ago to get help with removing my rims lock nuts for my rims because I recently lost the rims key. Bill Stotts was the kind soul that assisted me with this task. Bill asked me for the key of the vehicle, and to wait in the waiting area. Within 10 minutes the car was ready to go.

Given the circumstances I gave 3 stars for my last visit. Normally I think I would give 1 or 2 stars. Love the car and the buying experience but the service experience is well below par.
Last 2 service appointments I had were to get a tire replaced. This took a combined 4 hours to get done. This was having made appointments in advance both times.
Previous appointment was 2.5 hours and when I asked for an update (while sitting there to wait because I was told it would take 20-30mins maximum) I was told "just waiting for the car to be washed and it'll be ready". I said to skip the wash but it didn't seem to make any difference.
Not the worst experience by any means when compared to other dealerships in the past, but given that they are selling high end vehicles you expect the whole package to be of a high standard.

Life in Oakville

Definitely not the kind of customer service you expect going to a big name like Budds.

No clear communication, very aloof and vague when it came to the situation ,no sympathy or real concern as to my feelings as a customer.

Even the customer service rep manager who is supposed to handle complaints couldn’t bother to call me back after leaving numerous voice messages and just added further to my frustration.

At the end of day got huge bill to diagnose the situation , would have spent the same at a
Small mechanic to have the problem fixed.

They take hours to phone you back let alone even trying to get through to anyone. Then you are told that this is why there is a delay with your car because you as the customer didn’t call back to advise them promptly!

They charge per hour double what any mechanic does and don’t work on your car , they start it and then start another job to have a high turn around, something that should have been done in one day (5 hours) took three days.
Even getting my car back took a whole day , after I decided I wasn’t continuing the work with them because again my car was not being worked on because they had moved on to another job.

Definitely the place to go If you want to be treated like a number not like a customer. Will not be recommending or giving them my business again. Very disappointed and frustrated.

Purchased my 2019 Range Rover sport back in April of 2019, had a small warranty repair that was requested to be scheduled in. They wanted to charge me $29 a day for a rental car while my vehicle is being looked at. I’m leasing this vehicle and was called by my bank to let me know that a red flag was issued due to the fact 2 monthly payments were taking out in the same month! I will never buy another Range Rover land-rover product or purchase again from Budds. Not what I was expecting from a what I thought was a premium brand name.

I attended the dealership last week for service on my Jaguar and was more than a palled by the extreme Lee poor service provided. My wife has a Mercedes and their service is far superior. At jaguar there was only one technician with a terrible bedside manner. The sales people on the floor when I was looking at vehicles were nothing but rude. The overall experience of this dealership has been terrible and I would never recommend anyone attend this location. My car was given back to me dirty with a ding on the side door. I had purchased new tires and my winters were tossed in the car with no care to the leather seats. The stickers were still in my new tires. They also damaged my license plate cover in their terrible excuse for a car wash. They took several hours longer to do an oil change because the technician advised he had been busy and did not have time to let me know it was done. I was not offered coffee or any comfortable place to sit. I am telling everyone the service at this dealership is terrible and not worth a penny. My daughter gets better service at the Kia dealership. To top all of that off they overcharged me by $700 on my new tires which I now have to go all the way back to the dealership to get credit back.

My partner bought a used Jag at Budd's and said he would NEVER buy here again. Only after he bought it did we realize it had been accented (not reported but evident in the structure, and in the back window deck-liner which was crooked, and noticeable repaint when we knew to look for it). The salesman said he had no way of knowing (yeah, right!). After sales service was also absolutely terrible. At one point the young girl in the service department told us that the problem (that we came back repeatedly for) was the "normal nature of the model-design", to which we replied, "We've owned four Jags before this one; it's NOT normal!" The problem was a surging-thing that was in fact a problem with the 2004 Xj8 model and which WAS finally rectified, but which Budd's reported to the warranty company was a "master cylinder" defect but was not. I know they did this because the warranty company called us to confirm the repair but at the time we could not dispute it because we did not know, at the time, what the master cylinder was. We shortly thereafter discovered that the master cylinder could not possibly have had anything to do with the surging issue. Now this model's surging issue is common knowledge. Budd's basically scammed the warranty company. Incidentally, I also read some of the replies to the reviews here and I find it HIGHLY unprofessional for the owner to discuss personal/private information ("records indicate we spoke with your wife..."). Your reply should be, "Please contact us..." not trying to justify your failure to fix the problem. In short, you could not GIVE us a Budd's car today! NOTE: The car was purchased by my partner so don't bother checking your records; it's not under my name. Budd's: Never Again!

I found Carly to be very friendly, helpful in answering any questions I had and true to her word when she said she would phone me back at a specific time. The most arrongant condescending dealership i have ever visited in my life.

My experience started with none other than Shelley Budd, who happens to be related to the Budd family (surprise surprise?). I showed up for the test drive. This lady either had absolutely no clue or was just uninterested in making a sale. She knew nothing about the car, kept saying we'll head back to the dealership to check her computer etc.. made no conversation and wasnt able to provide any useful information to make purchase decisions. She was just typing away on her computer trying her best to print out the quotes and get back to her texting.. The whole dealership in itself looks pathetic...and it looked pathetic 4.5yrs ago when i walked in to testdrive a car.. and got the same attitude..probably even had a racist tone to her behaviour..almost like, 'oh i dont think u can afford this car' type.. i drive a cayenne btw...if u folks want a lesson in cust service, head over..its just a 2min walk..this ruined my experience. Never going back again. Im considering reporting this to Land Rover N.A

Just look at the arrogant response from the guy who manages the account..you're disappointed that he didn't have anything nice to say? Thats it? I've seen more enthusiasm from a drive thru for crying out loud. You walk in to buy a 100k+ car n they bloody well treat you right..

I found him to know the product very well inside out, and took time on the
test drive to explain all the features the car had.
Jonathan showed great professionalism making the deal for the car.
When I picked up the car he had all papers in order and again went through
all the features off the car with me.
I was having a problem programing the garage door opener, he could have
told me over the phone, but he came out to my house and did it.
I would recommend Jonathan as a great salesman and know he will be there
if I have any questions.

In May of this year, I took possession of a 2014 XJL Jaguar. This is my 5th Jaguar from the same Dealership. Budds Imported Cars in Oakville, and all from the same sales executive, Ray Beck. I have always had the cars serviced at Budds. I am completely satisfied with the attention and courtesy from the staff at Budds. The XJL with the economical 6 cylinder engine, 4 WD, and elegant design is exactly what I need in a luxury car. For me, the 2014 XJL is undoubtedly the best Jaguar to date, and is indeed a joy to drive.
