A month or two ago I was cruising the internet looking for a Toyota truck. A link got me in touch with Jason Savard. We had a chat on the phone shortly after.

Jason had promised he would look for me. I was pleasantly surprised when he phoned back a couple of days later wondering about colour and options I would prefer. Another phone call in a week or so, and Jason had found a Toyota, with the options I wanted (except Command Start) and even the right colour! So after a chat on the phone again, Jason would have the command start put in and we made a deal.

A few more days go by and I picked up the truck at the dealership, even though I had never met Jason, he was there and called me by name ! Its a little thing but it impressed me. He stuck to the deal, (which was an alright price ) , we had a nice visit and I am very happy with my purchase from Gary Moe Hyundai ! He even phones once in a while to see how the everything is going. So not only did I get the truck I was looking for, I seem to have made a friend as well...........just a great all around experience.

Terrible, not only is the Palisade plagued with issues electronics stopped working, can barely put the vehicle in park most days air conditioned seat won’t turn off the other one won’t turn on but the warranty department will look for any excuse not to cover your vehicles warranty. If you do not change your oil at Gary Moe warranty is voided. My 2020 palisade should not be burning not leaking 7 litres of oil period in 3000 KMs period.

The team at Gary Moe Hyundai are 100% customer driven. I have purchased two vehicles from the sales team and they were all great . From Kerwin in sales to Gary in Finance and Ron the Sales Manager they all have made me and my family feel like a person not just another sale. Fast forward almost three years and my motor seizes on the 2013 Tucson we bought. Warranty expired and grace period long past Hyundai Canada wasn't willing to do anything for me. I called up the Service department at Gary Moe Hyundai and spoke to Nicole. After explaining what happened. She offered to replace the motor at cost with employee pricing which would have saved me $2000. I appreciated her offer but felt I did nothing to cause the Tucson engine to seize so I asked if there was another option. She got back to me a few days later and said we might be able to get the engine replaced under good will with her warranty rep. So I provided all my service records to prove I maintained the vehicle. I got the news today that Hyundai will in fact replace the engine at almost no cost to me. Nicole and Elizabeth went above and beyond for my family and myself and I will never forget it. I wouldn't buy from any other dealership in Red Deer. Customer for life

There is a very good reason this dealership has an "F" rating with the Better Business Bureau. Absolutely the worst service, and most demeaning and condescending attitude from both the General manager and Service manager. 6 months with a new vehicle abandoning us multiple times. Hyundai knew exactly what the problem was and kept trying to put patches on instead of fixing the problem. They would then send us back out to "see if it strands you again", which it did THREE times. The arrogance of management here is beyond description!

I knew someone who worked in their service department as a mechanic and was terminated "with cause" as they put it because he refused to stay and work late for FREE. They requested he clock out at 5, but then stay late and finish the job. As an apprentice, a person gets paid by the hour and I wonder what type of business thinks this is exceptable. HR doesn't even know how to do their job as no severance was paid either so I sure hope there is a lawsuit filed. Make these big companies accountable. Cheers

When I purchased Tucson, I got 2 keys and they promised me to make one more free key. So I visited today and I got one more key but when I came back home, the other original key that I didn’t bring, doesn’t work. Nobody told me I need to bring all of the keys. I called about this problem and Nicole picked up the phone but she told me that “I didn’t serviced you today so don’t complain to me” and hung up the phone while I was still complaining.
I felt like she was ignoring me because I’m an Asian.
Does it right because she didn’t serviced me so she just rudely hung up? Are you guys only service well when selling a car?

I really like their sales employees and their finance manager is awesome; however, there service department could use improvement on their customer service and when my vehicle got totaled they did a terrible job in finding me an exact replacement with my insurance company. Also, some of the sales people are too pushy and unprofessional. I always ensured to choose to work with a good sales person by going in their and browsing prior to purchasing and seeing how the employees interact. Always choose the right person for you! Both times I had good experiences with the male and female we used. I'd recommended Julie or Jordan. With that said, to repurchase a new vehicle they did everything they can. I loved my 2015 Hyundia Sonota for the short time I had it. Another con was my airbag didn't go off during a sandwich vehicle collision and they had no explanation. A few months after I settled with the insurance companies I received a letter from Hyundai statingmy vehicle year and model had a defect in the air bags which made me concerned and upset as they shouldn't have just brushed it off when I inquired. Otherwise, I actually really liked the dealership and I had no issues going back. All companies could use improvement and from the different dealerships I used in the past this one is really great! Oh and Amanda is also absolutely awesome in the service department!

Original Post: April 22, 2016 - Vehicle was brought in today for service to fix the motor on the sunroof. Sante Fe was in for service 3 weeks ago when they discovered the problem. After the first service the dealership asked if they could purchase the vehicle because it is without exaggeration "like new." The dealership was told no to the sale of this vehicle.

When picking the vehicle up 3 weeks ago it was extremely disappointing to see the condition the service department left the vehicle in. There is grease on the headliner, column trim pieces not installed correctly, ripples in the headliner and so on.

The service manager Chris was informed of this and insisted they would take care of it. Today the vehicle was picked up with Chris stating he would be there to do a walk around of the vehicle and handle any concerns. Chris was not there. The vehicle was dropped off at 7:30am and was not available until right before closing time. The sunroof is misaligned, the roof has been dented, there are scratches and marks in the door panels on the driver side. There are gobs of grease on the sunroof from the interior and you can make out the technicians finger prints all over the light grey headliner. There are spare plastic trim pieces left on the dash, the original concerns have not been taken care of.

I have emailed the dealership through the website as well as Facebook. I intend to contact Hyundai Canada as soon as possible as they seemed to be very curious after the first service incident. I will edit this post and complete a write up after the dealership has responded.

Brought the vehicle back in. Richard the director of sales sat down and went over the concerns. He was extremely professional. He provided a service loaner and said he would look after it. Will edit once the vehicle is back.

Richard S. has been in constant contact updating the status of the vehicle and has taken every effort to ensure the vehicle returns to its original state. They have even transferred parts from vehicles on the lot to ensure we don't have to wait for parts. As of today I am extremely impressed and always like to judge a company by how they handle mistakes. Thank you thus far.

My husband and I came in about a month ago looking to buy a used vehicle. We were apprehensive as we initially did not want to buy off the lot. As soon as we stepped foot on the Gary Moe Hyundai lot we felt at home. Kevin Davison our sales consultant was AWESOME! He was not pushy at all and gave us some really great suggestions on what would work best for our family. It didn't take us long at all to decided that that was were we wanted to purchase our car. We ended up getting a 2007 Equinox and LOVE IT! Kevin was great throughout the entire purchasing process and even afterwards. We had some problems with the CD player and with one simple text message to him it was fixed free of charge!

I will definitely be recommending Gary Moe Hyundai to anyone that is looking to buy new or used! And when the time comes to buy our next vehicle I have no doubt in my mind that we will go back to Gary Moe Hyundai!
