Buying a car from Goderich Honda has to be the worst customer service experience of my life. We bought a CR-V for the company, it took Honda Goderich about a week to even get a RIN for the car! After only 9,248km it had a brake problem that wore the pads 1mm on the front and 7mm on the rear. It left us with a vehicle that was “unsafe to drive” according to another dealership. Goderich Honda blamed my colleague, suggesting it was due to aggressive driving they even accused my colleague of lying. In fact, it seemed like anything to avoid any cost. At one stage, before they started ignoring emails (even at senior levels), the General Manager told us to deal with Honda Canada and wished us a sarcastic “Good Luck”. Honda Canada were even less helpful and told us to go back to Honda Goderich and speak with the Manager, the same person we had been speaking with.
Goderich Honda, never again ! Honda, probably not, if this is the quality of dealership.
Just purchased a pre-owned Civic and Darren made it an easy and smooth experience. I will definitely work with him again for my next car.

Only twice did I need to use the services of this branch. In both cases, I encountered a voice on the phone, which, by its manner, was unfriendly, to say the least - more accurately borderline rude. And that, given that generally the traffic at the dealership is slow.
Maybe Goderich Honda is not aware of the huge strides in customer appreciation that occurred at other dealerships. Time to catch up.
I have never received such terrible service in my life quite frankly it was the worst experience I have ever encountered in my life in regards to a vehicle. No accountability whatsoever for any of the staff involved. It all made sense to me when I got a call from the general manager named Pat Barnes, he was an absolute nightmare to talk to on the phone, and completely inappropriate. This place is terrible take your money, and business somewhere else.

Started out okay, friendly salespeople
bought a certified vehicle. Placed vehicle in storage for winter use but had to bring it out because we sold one of our summer units, glad we did . 1st night we noticed that one of the exhaust pipes were lower (broken clamp) no big deal deal. The second issue was that there was no windshield washer fluid we filled it seems that there is a crack or hole as there is no fluid. So much for a certified vehicle.
My son recently purchased a 2017 jeep patriot from this location. We live 2 1/2 hrs away and the salesman Taylor (I believe that is his name) was amazing. The only day that we were available was on Sunday ( the dealership was closed) made arrangements for us to meet him then.
He took the time to explain the car to him and than told us about some of the sites to see while visiting this amazing town. If you are looking for a vehicle and don't see something in your local area take the drive to Goderich Honda it was 1 of the best experiences I have had. I have owned many vehicles in my life and if and when I need to repurchase I will definitely make the drive.

I purchased a CR-V from Goderich Honda last week, which is 2 hours from where I live. This is my first Honda and first purchase from Goderich Honda. (I have had my service completed with Goderich Honda previously but I had never purchased anything there). I have had some not so great experiences with trying to purchase a vehicle recently (Due to arrogant and ignorant sales staff) , and I was reluctant to continue my search...... however these guys all made it extremely painless and fun! Over all a great experience. Scott, Alex, Jennifer and Carl helped me through this process and I am extremely happy with how it all turned out! I have great respect for all the people involved!! We took our existing Honda Pilot (2014) and our other car to have our snow tires off and noted the beautiful 2022 Honda Passport Trailsport on display. The next day test drove it, got a better than hoped for (that never happens!!) trade on our 2014 Honda Pilot (YAY) and bought the new Passport the next day! We absolutely love it! It exceeds our expectations at every turn, literally. The service dept is great at Goderich Honda, as is the overall service. The owner/manager bought our existing snowtires since they won’t fit the new one, and took the time to come out on car pick up day (only a couple days later! Easy financing, super rates!!!) and personally thank us for our business, he is super nice and very personable! Scott was an amazing sales fella, funny, easy going, no pressure. Jennifer in finance easy to work with and most kind. Our neighbours keep stopping in to see the new wheels, everyone loves the Passport! I have had the unfortunate experience of buying a used truck at this dealership for what i thought at the time was a fair price. On my (cold) ride home there was no heat at all on the passenger side. I opened the cabin air filter and to my delight found a mouse nest in my dash... replaced the filter out of my own pocket, still no heat. Took it back to the dealership to have them fix it, and was told "its a 14 year old truck, we wont fix it we will only pay for half of it" Well I certainly would not have bought it had I known, but too late. I decided to live with it. As soon as i hooked it up to a trailer it overheated and low and behold... needs a head gasket. I thought I was getting a decent truck, from what seemed to be good people but in reality they just did the bare minimum work on it to get it road legal, and now I am left with thousands in repair bills. If you are looking for a used vehicle look elsewhere because clearly Goderich Honda is Okay with selling their customers junk, and does not stand behind what they sell whatsoever.
I purchased a vehicle through Goderich Honda in the summer. The process was easy and financing was fast. I’ve gone back to purchase new winter tires and have them installed - I really appreciate that they’ll store my other tires for a small fee.
I loved the complimentary car wash that’s completed after a service too!
If you want a couple guys that will put in the work for you to get you a great trade value. you've got to reach out to Scott! between him and his manager Alex they truly went to work for me. giving me real advice when to came to selling my vehicle. These two went above and beyond what most dealers would ever do to get me the value I did for my vehicle.
All around straight up genuine guys, would recommend anyone in the area to go chat with these guys when talking about purchasing or selling any vehicle.

We purchased a FIT from this dealership several years ago. Paid for the extended package which included lifetime rust and interior stain coverage. Have been trying to get service for over a year. Service department constantly promises a call back which NEVER happens. Avoid this dealer!!
There service and expertise wasn't the best manner. They said I was covered for warranty for the ignition and when the ignition part wasn't good, they didn't fix. They also didn't tell me the AC was broken and they said the part would be in in a few days but took a week and a bit. They said they detailed it, and when I got it, there was mold, rotten food, used cigarettes (in a car they said was smoke free) and alchol. Very bad experience on my end. Will not recommend getting a car there as I certainly will not be going there ever again. They need to improve alot!

Goderich Honda really went above and beyond to get my business. The Sales Manager Alex, met us after hours to show us a Honda Ridgeline. I was going to sell my truck privately for maximum dollars but my trade in and savings in tax just made sense to trade it.. the sale went seamlessly.Terrence had all the paper work ready for my signature and showed me all the safety and tech features of the Ridgeline .
Jennifer, suggested while transferring my plates that it might be a good idea to purchase another year of my sticker , Great Idea saving me a trip to the license bureau in the near future.
The truck was ready out front, detailed, full of gas , new tires like we had discussed previously.

I made an appointment online to have the valve clearances in my car checked.
I called to confirm the time and day I picked was good for the service I needed.
On the day, I took time off work, and drove 70km one way to take the car to Goderich Honda. Upon arriving I was told that I’d have to leave the car in overnight so it can be left to cool so it can be serviced.
I was not told this very important piece of information when I made the appointment. I was not made aware of this when I called to confirm the appointment either.
You knew this, and did not care enough to tell me so I can plan appropriately. You made me loose money by taking time off my job so I can fit my appointment during your extremely limited working hours. You also made me waste time and gas driving too.
I will certainly not come back, since your business organization and costumer care leaves a lot to be desired.

I made an appointment, had to wait two weeks to get in. I was told to bring it in first thing in the morning. They open at 9am so I brought it in for 9am. They tell me I should have brought it in at 8am and that I now have to wait another 2 WEEKS for another appointment. So I just drove my IN NEED OF REPAIR vehicle 45 km for nothing. Will not be going back. Terrible customer service.

I recently bought a CRV at Goderich Honda. Terrance in sales was excellent; Explaining everything clearly to a first time buyer and making me feel
comfortable and confident in my decision to continue in our family tradition of only buying Honda! Although I live two hours away I knew I wanted to buy at Goderich Honda where that “small town” family feeling can be found. I will be back for years of service and sales in the future!
Only suggestion I say is when buying a car do not buy the "life time rust proofing" it's only up to 40000 km and tire guard they try and sneak in as well other then that great place.
I drove 3 hours to purchase a vehicle from Goderich Honda. I was treated fairly and the vehicle was as described and in very good condition. My trade in was appraised fairly. The vehicle was ready when promised and the whole transaction was transparent and stress free.
During the payment process the customer service was very good. However, when we got our vehicle it had tires on it that should never have passed safety they were so bad. The dealership apologized and switched out the tires which was nice, but it was a lot of driving for us to fix that dangerous mistake.
Then exactly 2 weeks after purchase our battery stopped working, which we were told was not their problem. It would have been nice to not have problems with the vehicle 2 weeks after it passed a safety

Extremely poor service. I took a vehicle for safety on July 12, 2016 and I was charged $ 103.96, then I brought another vehicle on July 20, 2016 and they charged me $ 172.00 stating that they had made a mistake the first time, however, when I dropped the vehicle nobody told me anything about the price changes.
I talked with the service manager who is an extremely rude individual and he said "pay the charges or I won't give you the safety's certificate".
I was charged for 1.5 hours of labour to inspect the vehicle when in fact they only took 4o minutes to inspect the vehicle.
I then went to speak with the new general manager, who is another very arrogant individual. He stated without even checking that the charges were correct.
I have been a customer at Goderich Honda for 23 years and today, Wednesday, July 20, 2016 had been the last time I have ever take a vehicle to Goderich Honda.
On the top of the extremely poor service and the illegality of the charges, I went to another shop and they charge $ 87.96 taxes included for safety inspection.
