Fantastic Sales department. Really helped me out and would come here to buy my next car for sure 5/5. However I am changing my rating since the services department is absolutely terrible. Sat around for almost 30 minutes because they kept forgetting about me and giving me incorrect information. Took me over an hour to pick up my own set of tires while having an appointment. This comes after sitting around another time for an oil and tire change that took 2 hours longer than told with no one wanting to give me updates and when asked would say oh they are just finishing up... 0/5. Will NOT be returning for servicing

HORRIBLE LOCATION DO NOT GO HERE
Mechanics are too lazy to do a thorough inspection.
These guys are money hungry and look for excuses to charge you.
Worst part is the Manager did nothing, he was rude, and insisted I go through Honda so he wouldn't have to deal with the issue that was caused by the negligence of his staff.
Would give negative rating if possible.

I've had terrible experiences at this place. I have been to Family Honda for oil change a couple of times. They never take the customers based on their appointment time. The oil change is extremely slow and they never update you on the wait time.

If you give your car at this place, be careful as my stuff has been misplaced the last time I went there. In spite of following up with the service manager about my lost sunglasses from the car, they never got back to me. The investigation took more than 3 months. Also, the lose change or any other things can also be stolen. So please be very careful.

If I could give them a negative rating, I certainly would. There are many other Honda service centers that offer much better service. This place is a big NO NO for me.

I recently bought a Honda Accord Sport 2.0 from Family Honda through Max Gill. I was considering a couple of alternatives and took out an Accord for test drive. I really like the car but had my eye on the Sport 2.0, a difficult model to find for a test drive. Max went out of his way to arrange for one. Loved the car and his help throughout the process really sold me on it. He answered any questions, filling me in on all the features and when he told me to call him with any questions or concerns anytime he really backed it up.

Surprised to see that even on a busy morning, the staff were still brother cordious and efficient at least on the surface from what I can see. As I walked in for my appointment the mechanic already started the work almost immediately after signing my order. Yes of course these are dealership prices but it's not too bad. No promises is large and bright and aesthetically pleasing and the interior is clean. There is an adequate waiting area. At this point I have no complaints.

Taking a car for service is one of the dullest and most tedious chores. So when the employees are helpful and cheerful and the service happens quickly, yet thoroughly, it becomes a nice experience. The service managers always inform knowledgeably, but they don't pressure. The staff really listens to feedback and acts on it. They have super-convenient online scheduling software so I can schedule my own service appointment and get reminders via text/e-mail. And they are well set up for people to wait for their service to be complete (they have some desk space to work, and couches/TV/ wireless). They also have a shuttle to take you to work or back home and the 2 drivers I have met were very courteous and professional. I plan to always drive a Honda as long as this location is in business and keeps up this kind of service.

I recently bought a 2019 Honda Passport from Family Honda, through Jordan Pizzorusso. I had done a lot of research into the vehicle, as I wanted it to be just right for my family especially comfortable and safe for my two young children who I would be transporting a lot!

Jordan was very easy to deal with. I especially liked his honesty in discussing the pros and cons about the vehicle as well as his suggestions that I also check out the completion, to make sure that this vehicle was the one that I actually liked and that it satisfied all my needs. I made many trips to Family Honda to test drive the vehicle as well to ask him questions in person. He was always willing to take the time out to answer questions and go for test drives. Not once was there any pressure to purchase the vehicle.

One thing that you will notice about Jordan is that he is very knowledgeable in many aspects and not just of the vehicle at hand, but in the auto industry as a whole. This aspect is important when you are trying to narrow down your search of vehicles to buy the best vehicle possible.

When it comes down to the purchase, Jordan was the reason I bought my new vehicle at Family Honda. He was very professional. The day I was suppose to pick up my Honda Passport, Jordan was not feeling well, but he made the trip to the dealership, closed the deal and did the presentation of the vehicle.

There are many dealerships out there, it is the personal touch that I experienced with Jordan, that I would go back as well as tell other people to buy a vehicle from Family Honda!

I found a Honda Fit that I like on their website, I called them to find out more about the car. It took me 5 calls until I could talk to someone. I asked about the car and I mentioned that I was from Waterloo and it is a long drive for me so I wanted to find out about their minimum price and the car condition. She said the car is in great shape and for the money, she would call me in 15 minutes. I called at least seven times during 2.5 hours of wait time before I got frustrated and I asked to talk to the General Manager. I told him that his staff have no interest in selling cars. He thanked me for reporting the issue and said he would look after this. In 20 minutes, two people called me back. Their bottom price was $600 lower than advertised. Again I asked many times about the car cosmetics in and out. The assistant manager said that there was some dents in the rear bumper which is fixed. The other guy said that the car is in top shape. Assistant manager said that the rotors were replaced with new rotors.
My brother in law and I drove all the way from ( Waterloo and New Hamburg) to find out that the car had multiple scratches and dents in and out. There were big dents on the dashboard and the seats were in a bad shape. The car was at best 6 out of 10 in my mid. We were so upset that I decided to get hold of the used car manager and complain about this. The used car manager said, “This is a used car” and said if we want them to fix the dents, he would charge us $800 more. Also he said that the rotors were only machined.
The people in this place, in my mind, are the ultimate dishonest people I have experienced in my car shopping experience for more than 20 years.
. I told the sales guy that if they do not care about us, at least they need to care about environment. We drove more than 3 hours. It was almost 10 PM when I got home tired and frustrated.

Worst service in the history of Honda Dealerships. Please do not go there for service. Complete rip-off. Forget satisfaction, all they want is your money. The sales side maybe better as per reviews. I wouldn't recommend that either knowing the service side of this place. Even if you have recalls please choose other locations unless you want to get into some unwanted/new/mysterious/coincidental problems which they make you pay indirectly. I had a suspicion about putting regular oil for synthetic price before but had no way to confirm or prove it. This another time I went for a airbag recall and magically the battery and alternator died the same night I returned home. Dealership completely denied calling it a coincidence since it had no connection with airbag, again no way to prove what happened in the background. Also to mention I walked out of Number 7 Honda EVERY SINGLE TIME. Wish I had chosen to drive a little farther for a better service.

I wanted to post my experience at Family Honda.

Back on Sept 9, I placed an order for a Blue 2015 Honda Fit EX-L Navi at Family Honda. Mind you, when I ordered this car, it still hadn't been released in Canada since it's release date wasn't till Sept 19, 2014.

Anyway, it took a while to receive this order (roughly 9 weeks), again, not the fault of the dealer, since Honda was having difficulty keeping up with orders and delivery times.

Credit goes to my sales consultant, Michael Roman, and his staff for keeping me posted on delivery updates. They also were kind enough to throw in a few extra accessories for my long wait(Thanks Ryan Cragg).

They were also able to help me get my winter tires installed promptly for a trip I was going on this week even though the dealer was overbooked with service calls(special thanks to Gary Small on this one).
