Glen was extremely helpful, he answered all my questions and addressed all concerns in a timely manner with honesty and integrity. He treated me with absolute professionalism. Huge Thanks to Tanya Mooney, She helped set us up with a amazing 2018 Equinox at a great price, I got a fair trade in on my old vehicle, and she took into consideration prior mechanical work done to the vehicle at time of trade in. we are well set up in our new Equinox, and she has even addressed a very minor concern after delivery.

Then Brandon in Service, was polite, professional and made my check in experience very pleasant and effortless. I waited for my vehicle at the dealership, and was glad to see that they had so many precautions in place due to COVID. Finally I was so pleased when Kolten the technician, came out to discuss my vehicle. I have had BMWs, Hondas, Fords, and been to other GM dealers, and I have never had this sort of exceptional service. Our purchase experience was excellent and could not have been easier.
We did a long distance deal in January and purchased a 2020 GMC Canyon Duramax from Quantrill Chevrolet. The trade and purchase price was all negotiated remotely with our sales contact Wes Roche. The actual pickup, paperwork and trade drop-off was hassle free and went off with zero issues. We had some accessories ordered as part of the deal but were back ordered, Wes organized a remote delivery on a Sunday after the parts came in!. Thanks again Wes!

I think when it comes to vehicle repairs we all know that things don’t always go smooth and even the best technicians don’t always get it right. However what really matters is how the repair shop deals with these situations. When this happens with the good shop that cares about their customers, they apologize for the inconvenience, they try to rectify the issue as promptly as possible, they even give you a discount for the aggravation if they did not diagnose the problem correctly and further repairs are required, or they don’t even charge you at all to correct something they did not do right in a first place. And this is even more so if you have been a loyal customer and provided them with the decent revenue over a number of years.

Well, don’t expect that at this shop. First of all don’t expect any apologies for the inconvenience. Also don’t expect them to rectify the issue as promptly as possible because their time is more important than yours and you will have to come back when there is an opening in their schedule. Also don’t expect any discounts or anything like that, in fact they will charge you again for the diagnostics that they failed to perform right in a first place. And if they still don’t get it right, they will do the same exact thing to you again. It is only when you escalate the issue to the management they would start taking things a little bit more seriously, though even then they will keep charging you money like nothing happened. And when they still don’t get it right and you finally refuse to keep paying for their incompetence, their General Manager has a nerve to tell you that they don’t work for free and if they can’t fix it you should not bother coming back. Seriously? Well I guess it explains the attitudes and the business practices of the whole shop. I think this person should be used as a training material to teach customer service representatives of what not to do in this job. I also wonder who would entrust somebody like that to run their business and tarnish it.

Oh, did I also mentioned that when they install the part that fails shortly after and needs to be replaced under warranty they don’t even tell you that and instead claim that problem is somewhere else, and of course charge you more money.

Bottom line, do yourself a favour and find a better shop to service your vehicle so you don’t end up in the same situation I have. And trust me these shops exist. I have been servicing one of my vehicles at Lakeridge Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ltd. In Port Hope for years and the way they have always dealt with any issues was impeccable often exceeding my expectations.

Service Manager provided no help in tending to a faulty door latch (safety concern with littles in the back), told me I needed a replacement latch ($400+, didn't even bother inspecting it). Claimed I voided warranty by not having everything lubricated, which is false as they do this during the routine dealership oil changes, which I've always done. Claimed my decline of tire rotation voided the lubrication maintenance? Overall didn't make sense. General manager was of no assistance when above issue was complained about. Went to Thomas Pontiac GMC in Cobourg for a second opinion and to confirm routine maintenance; they assessed the problem, cleaned out the sub par lube Quantrill provided & have thus far fixed the issue FREE OF CHARGE. Quantrill could learn a thing or two from their customer service techs!

I purchased a 2012 Orlando from Quantrills in November 2016. I had the pleasure of dealing with Garth Mooney, who was absolutely awesome. He was upfront, honest and genuine during the sale! He made the process smooth and painless, including helping me move car seats and 2 kids over to the new vehicle when I picked it up!

I had a small issue this week during the cold snap, called Garth and he set me up with the service department. They squeezed me in the same day, addressed the issue immediately and had me on my way inside of two hours!

In an age where customer service seems to have gone by the wayside, Quantrill's have it figured out! Fabulous customer service from start to finish and excellent follow through. Do yourself a favour and drive the extra way to Ontario Motor Sales in Oshawa.
Received horrible service on my Cadillac. They told me one thing on why wouldn't fix my warranty issue then when I went to GM Canada about the issue Quantrills told them a completely different reason.

Had a problem that needed fixing with just a screw when I was heading to Cobourg yesterday. I pulled in to Quantrill Chev Olds..talked to a mechanic Ira, because the service man was busy on the phone.The young fella said just a min..and then said "give me 10 minutes." He fixed it..and then checked with billing dept..and they said "no charge".I am back today to have my car serviced...they have a customer for life now!
That is what service is all about! Well done..

Broke down in Port Hope. My car needed a fuel pump and a filter. Was told this was the cheapest they found. $588.00 I was able to source it for $289.00 The service manager told me the cost to them from Parts Source was $400.00? Good mark up if you ask me considering he told me the supplier was Parts Source. Same place I sourced it for $289.00. The other thing was when I picked up my car my front end was making a lot of noise when turning. It was very loud but at the time I picked it up I was in a hurry and I was listening to my music loud and didn't hear it right away. When I asked the manager why no one had mentioned it or wrote something on my bill he smartly said if you want us to check your car we will at a cost. Now if this was my business I would have at least mentioned to my customer the problem we heard because maybe the customer might say ok please go ahead and fix it thus I would have just made the company more profit as well a good customer relation.

Instead they earn the worst customer relations award from me and for over pricing parts the biggest rip off award.

If you break down in this town of Port Hope Ontario say away from this dealer.

Had I known this I would have towed my car back to Toronto and saved $300.00 it would have paid for the towing... Hope this saves some other poor stranded motorists...
