I was out looking and pricing out an explorer for quite some time. Dan, who has sold me a vehicle in the past explained we could build one. At first I was hesitant, but he walked me through it. It was honestly an amazing experience. He was always available to chat/answer questions along the way. I have to say my 2022 explorer is beyond my expectations. Sara did an amazing job explaining all the new features and how to use all the fancy stuff!

First of all, wow, I've never had such a great experience when buying a used vehicle, I needed a good vehicle to tow my new pop up tent trailer and the Ford Edge seemed to be the best option for me, plus buying from a Ford dealer seemed like the best choice.
I live in Ingersoll and looked in London and area for a while to be disappointed with either the vehicles I looked at or the dealers attitudes towards my budget. In my searches a lovely looking 2012 Edge showed in McDonnell's inventory, being in the Covid situation I emailed to set up an appointment to see the car and Buck Wright responded promptly and had me set up to see the car on a Saturday to be convenient for me.
Arriving at the dealer the car had been parked out front to make looking it over nice and easy and being satisfied with the exterior condition I went inside and met Buck who got me setup with a dealer plate and went over some of the features on the vehicle along with its comprehensive service records, not being from Strathroy I was unfamiliar with the area so Buck gave me a route to drive to really test the vehicle for suspension noises and such, which was very helpful.
Following the test drive I was fairly satisfied with the car and was ready to talk some numbers, I had some concerns, but they were quickly quelled as I was ensured they would be sorted no problem (they absolutely were and some I didn't even bring up!).
The purchase process was a breeze, there was a couple hiccups due to parts availability but that's not McDonnell's fault. Buck got my delivery set up on an evening that worked best for me and took the time to go over features of the car even though it was close to their closing time, couldn't ask for better service than that!
In the following days one or two issues presented themselves (it's a used car it happens) Buck got me setup with the service department and I dropped the car off on a Monday morning and they were fairly confident it was all set but wanted to keep it an extra day just to confirm, which I appreciate as it's a bit of a drive back and forth. I picked up the car the following day with the issues solved at no cost to me, couldn't be happier.
Anyway if you're looking for an honest, reputable family oriented dealer to purchase from, you'll do no better anywhere than McDonnell Motors and their fabulous, helpful, and friendly staff.
This is my second go around with buying a vehicle with Dan Murphy, I gotta tell ya it's been a great experience both times. They treated me right on my first brand new vehicle in 2017, I gave them a call a few days ago about a truck they had on their website and got the ball rolling instantly! To say Dan has great customer service and takes care of every need is an understatement! My family has been buying vehicles from this dealership for as long as I can remember and none of us have ever had a complaint, they do exactly what they say they are going to do and do it in a timely manner.
I would highly recommend everyone to give Dan a call when looking for a new vehicle!

A few weeks ago I drove from Paris, Ontario to see a Buick Lacrosse trade-in. While it was a very nice vehicle, at the time I thought it wasn't quite what I was looking for. Dan, the Sales Rep., followed up with me a few days later to check on my status and see I was still interested in the vehicle.
I mentioned that I would pass on the Buick and continue to look for a shortlist of either a Ford Fusion, Toyota Camry or Honda Accord.
A couple of weeks later, Dan reached out to me to see if I was still looking and mentioned that they had a couple of Ford Fusion trade-ins they were working on (a 2014 and 2016) if I was still interested.
The following week I made another visit to the dealership and took both for test drives. After thoughtful consideration, a few days later I chose the 2014 Ford Fusion. It was in fantastic condition, nicely detailed and loaded with options....a really nice car and well taken care of.
I've been driving it for two weeks now and am 100% satisfied with the purchase.
I worked with Dan on both the initial Buick contact and on the subsequent Fusion trade-ins. The sales process in both instances was very cordial, professional and pleasant. I was very satisfied with closing the deal on the 2014 Fusion and would have no problem recommending Dan or the dealership if one is considering purchasing a vehicle.

I had my Nissan serviced today here. I live in London Ontario so it's an 'out of town' trip for me to do this. I was very impressed at the way they have set up the service department during the current pandemic. There is a waiting room reserved for those from out of town. They know who will be using it and sanitize after every use as well as your vehicle before the keys are passed to you . The staff made it so fast and easy for me in these difficult times.

Drop your keys in a drop box, your car is sanitized in and out! Great appointment email that sets the stage on what to expect and how you will be cared for during this pendemic ~ what I didn't expect was the easy, safe payment process once I received my invoice by email! And the price was stellar! I have been paying too much for my tire change and oil changes - Thank McDonnell - see you in the fall for the same routine in reverse and hopefully not so much distancing will be required. Leslie!
I am a self-proclaimed handyman. With the tools and knowledge to do most of my own repairs. The other day I humbled myself and took a chance with my local Ford dealer. Mind you I am not a Ford fan. McDonald’s Ford went above and beyond. Not only were the $200 cheaper than the original over the phone quote. They are quick and efficient. I brought my Lincoln MKZ in because of a grinding sound coming from the front of my vehicle when I turned the ignition on. I was being told from mechanics in London that I may need to change the starter, but would need to get it diagnosed first to determine this. I decided to bring my vehicle to McDonnell Motors due to the amazing reviews they have as I am cautious of trusting most dealerships and I am SO HAPPY that I did! They took a look at everything and said the starter was completely fine and the rattling was likely coming from my rusted heat shield. I asked what the cost would be as they spent about 10 minutes looking at my vehicle, they told me nothing. This is the first Ford dealership I have been to that didn’t try to scam me or tell me something needed to be replaced when it didn’t!
I know where I will be going when I need any future repairs done to my car! It is definitely worth the drive from London to Strathroy!

Sales team will talk to you for hours and teach you about all the vehicles they have to sell. Go by a Ford and if you're close to Strathroy, go to McDonnell Motors, you won't be disappointed.
