This is my third truck from Dan Murphy / Barrhaven Ford in 7 years. Jeff and Gerry were a pleasure to do business with.
Fantastic location and staff. Jeff, Andrew and Stephen all helped take care of us. We went in as tire kickers and they worked so hard to find us our dream vehicle. It's easy when things go smooth. Things did not go smooth with our purchase of a new Mustang GT...there were some issues and it is at that point that you will find out what kind of dealership that you are dealing with. The General Manager, the sales person, the finance guy...it seemed like EVERYONE was scrambling to make everything right...and they did just that! Even the service manager came out to introduce himself. We ended up leaving with big smiles and all the faith in the world with Barrhaven Ford.
Andrew was super helpful and contacted me about my trade in value of my previous vehicle. I was interested in a Ford Bronco Sport and he gave me all the details and had me in to test drive it that afternoon. He gave me the space I needed to test drive it myself and get an unbiased opinion of the vehicle. He was super relatable and easy to talk to when I came to negotiations and information about the Bronco and my previous vehicle.
I was in there for an hour at most and had the smoothest vehicle buying experience I’ve ever had. Everyone on the back end was super helpful as well and just as easy to talk to which made me feel super comfortable.
Tyler is an amazing sales person. He is knowledgeable but not pushy. He actively listens with great follow up and execution.
Jason knows his stuff as the finance manager. That part is the least excited part of the process but Jason keeps it upbeat and relevant.
I will be recommending both Jason and Tyler to my friends and family.

I recently purchased a used vehicle from Barrhaven Ford and had great service. Karim was the finance manager I dealt with, he knew my budget and what type of vehicle I was interested in and successfully secured me the one I wanted. On the day I went in to test drive some cars, he and my sales person Holly had some already picked out which made my time at the dealership effective and efficient. Even though I did not go with the Ford brand, both Karim and Holly were very supportive and knowledgeable to answer any questions I had. Great job Barrhaven Ford!!

Very impressed with the level of customer service, attention to detail and 100% lack of pressure you would normally get during a new vehicle purchase.
After months of searching and vehicle comparisons I settled into Barrhaven Ford because they knew and respected that I was looking for a specific build of F150. They made sure I received exactly what I wanted, when I wanted it and for the price I wanted.
The only negative thing I can think of is the complete waste of time I spent preparing to battle for a fair trade in value on my vehicle. They gave me exactly what I wanted for my trade. Add in the friends/family/VIP discount pricing and it was a no-brainer to purchase at this dealership.

We purchased a new Ford 150 Lariat yesterday and we were very impressed. Charlene came out of her office to thank us for our business and asked if we were excited about picking up our truck. Leased a new 2020 Ford Edge from the great folks at Barrhaven Ford and I must say the experience was a pleasant one. I reached out online very late one night and much to my surprise, got a very quick reply from Mike Assad confirming that my request for a 9:45 get-together would be fine. Mike was very attentive to what I wanted in my new Edge (I've owned Edges before) and after searching their extensive inventory, brought me out to see a few Edges that met my expectations. The whole process was quite simple once I found the one I wanted. I closed out my previous lease and arranged to pick up my new Edge in a few days. Mike walked me through the updates around Ford Pass and Sync 3 and he even arranged to have my grand-daughter's car seat moved to the new Edge. Great service indeed. All in all an easy, pleasant experience.
I’ve not purchased a new vehicle in a while and my experience with everyone from the sales team to the managers to the service advisors have been totally professional and have gone beyond the call of duty. The sales staff were very informative and no high pressure sales tactics whatsoever. Very impressed with the team spirit. I just bought a 2017 Ford Escape from Barrhaven Ford. While the negotiations were a bit intense with our sales associate, the final outcome was that Barrhaven Ford has some really great team members and the company makes sure that the customer is treated as any valued customer should be. They proved to me that after sales support is as important to them as it is to the customer. I plan on bringing my two current Ford vehicles in to Barrhaven Ford for service from now on, as well as my new Mustang Mach-E GT which should be in the process of being created.
I had an excellent experience working with Mo, David and Josh. They all went above and beyond to find and deliver my new F-150. I could not have asked for better service from this team. I highly recommend anyone go see them for their next vehicle.
I bought a used truck from these guys. Very friendly and comfortable. The only drawback was that they worked really hard to try to sell me something new, even though I wasn't at all interested. It took a lot of effort to convince them otherwise, but eventually the pressure ceased. Still don't have the door lock combo yet, but beyond that, a good experience. Very happy with my vehicle and looking forward to maintaining it there.
Horrible experience with both Sales and Service department. Sales had multiple issues including ordering in the completely wrong vehicle that was shown to me window sticker of. Even after negotiations on a different car, they lied all over the place and gave me the car with incorrect winter tires that I ordered and paid for. Sale of the car was end of 2017. Been taking my car in for its regular service and service department is just as bad as sales. Lying to your face and not giving you clear answers to questions. I have a colleague who went their also who also had horrible experience. Dealership has become the laughingstock of the office for their terrible service. After many complaints to management team, all we get is “we're sorry, give us another chance". They've had over 6 past failures, why should I give them business or recommend them to anyone.
All this said, I did come across some staff that were fantastic. Sadly those were not the management team so those staff were stuck with the rules from their higher ups. I feel sorry for them and hope they find a job where theyre treated with the respect and consideration they deserve.
We bought our company vehicles from Dan Murphy Ford and now that they have now become Barrhaven Ford it is the same great service and we will continue to deal with them. They are very knowledgeable and prompt.

Great place to purchase a vehicle. Pleasant. Not pushy. No high pressure sales. Michael Assad great salesperson, nice to deal with, always accessible, great follow up. Manager, David, ?(sorry) also nice to deal with. Vehicle delivery as promised. Vehicle immaculate. In and out in 30 minutes when I bought my Expedition and when I took delivery.
Great experience purchasing a truck without high pressure sales tactics. I received a fair number for my trade in and am very happy with my new vehicle. Barrhaven Ford also threw in new molded car mats and a brand new set of tires at no extra cost which was much appreciated!
Overall a very pleasant experience. Holly was very helpful and listened to all our requests and helped us find the perfect truck for what we need. And Josh was great at finishing everything up for payment. Don't hesitate to give them a visit if you are just looking around. They don't give you any pressure to buy.
Bought our first car here! The whole staff is super supportive! Even offered to pick us up the day our car was ready so we could drive it out. They double check their facts before giving any information for 100% accuracy and they work with you on all fronts! Great service - in Ottawa for meetings & my rear signal went out, I stopped at a dealership in Ottawa who said - we can't even look at it for 2 hours. The purchase was fairly good but I noticed too much of whisper behind the customer. Which makes me doubt if I made a right decision to buy from them. I hope there was no catch. Only advise I can give is make sure you see the same vehicle in other dealers to make sure you’re in a right place.

I must provide an update to my previous rating I had added on Dan Murphy Ford. I was having some issues that were causing me serious concerns and questioning the purchase of a used truck. I am sure I am not alone to say this, but it has happened to many of us to be forgotten after a purchase, whether it was a good or bad/faulty product – stores/businesses leave you without any support after you have spent your hard earned money on what they sold you. I can go on and on, and in this day in age, it is a sad reality we live in to know that many businesses are like that. I had assumed the worse when I was having some issues with a truck I bought from Shawn at Dan Murphy Ford. After some patient communication between Shawn Murphy, Shane McInnes, Dan Cross and myself, the excellent team were able to work something out that was decent for all of us. Shane took the time to meet and offer me scenarios that would help me best, and Dan took the time to chat with me and ensure that I would get excellent service to address the issues. I got my truck back and could not believe the difference! Thank you Dan and to your excellent Diesel Technician! I can say that I have full trust in these fine people and look forward to future dealings with them. Make sure you give them a chance as they will take the time to help you out and take care of you, that’s what they are there for.

Hello DB, In response to your post, I have not had the clunk fixed yet -too busy. If your service manager would like to contact me he is welcome to do so, you have my number. The concern I have is whether the defect can be accurately diagnosed by your mechanics. The DMF service advisor informed me that "there was so much going on " they could not be sure where the noise was coming from. There was no mention of the driveshaft issues that other model years are experiencing, that are covered by numerous Ford TSB's and which seems the most likely cause.

Brought my 2010 F150 in for a repair back in December. There was a clunking sound coming from the rear. DMF replaced a transmission part but the noise remained (but not as repeatable). In February I went back and had a test drive with the service manager in order to point out the noise. I was told, based on what he could hear, it was a minor issue and might go away in the spring with the warmer weather . The truck went back in to the garage at the end of March. After being checked out by a DMF mechanic I was advised that they were unable to isolate the origin of the clunk coming from the rear end as the front LH/RH lower bearings were worn as was a RH tie rod. Apparently, the rear shocks were done for and the leaf spring stop pucks were also U/S. Shocked at how these serious defects were not discovered during the previous shop visit (approx. 5000 km ago)I did not proceed with the suggested repairs. Instead, I took the truck to a mechanic friend with 24 years experience and a F150 owner his entire adult life. He checked the front end and found that everything was "tight" and no play or evidence of wear. There was no evidence of fluid coming from the shocks and no noise either when excited. Took the truck to another Ford dealer today and they believe the noise is from the drive shaft. Any chance you can explain what is going on here?
I recently moved to Ottawa and needed to have my Ford Escape serviced. I called Dan Murphy Ford and requested an appointment. They were really busy due to winter tire season...but told me to come in that day and they squeezed me in. I really appreciated the Service that I received and would recommend them to all my family and co-workers.
