In early November 2019 my son was looking for a good used car we went to look at a 2012 Ford Focus that was on the lot. The car looked and ran great. My son returned on Monday to purchase the car. The salesman was Matt Komer, who we realized later was who my wife and I had dealt with when we purchased our Ford Edge in August 2016. Can't say enough about the service he provide to my son. He was fair to deal with and treated him as if he was buying a new Lincoln. He delivered the car to our mechanic so they could check out the car. There were a few minor things to do and he saw to it that it was taken care of including replacing the radio. When we went to pick up the car it was detailed ,gassed up and ready.
After about a week the check engine light came on, it indicated a catalytic converter problem. My son called Matt and he arrange for the repairs to be done. They honored the 30 day warranty and replaced the cat converter.
My son was thrilled and relieved and has been happy with his car ever since.
Excellent experience, thank you Matt and a big thumbs up to Oakland .

On Monday 24 June 2019 my husband and I were driving in our 2013 Ford Escape down Hwy 6 heading to Port Dover. Thankfully Hwy 6 is a 2 lane Hwy with not much traffic. We were coming up to a stop light when my husband yelled “There is NO BREAKS”. He tried the emergency brakes but that also Failed. Then he put the car in park but it would not stop. Eventually it stopped on its’ own approximately 80 cars lengths later before the intersection. In order to get out of the intersection he put the car in drive and the car went on it’s own accelerating into the intersection and beyond again putting the car in park in order for it to stop. It stopped approximately 40 cars lengths later the second time. We were so lucky there were no cars on the Hwy at that time. We called CAA to have the car towed to a Ford dealership near our home in Oakville.
The dealership said the Vacuum Hose was broken and that is why we had No Breaks. I had asked if they were going to replace it and was told it was an older model and that they were replacing the part with a newer upgraded part, as these vehicles do brake down they are updated with this newer part. I asked if this is an issue with this vehicle and is there a recall on vehicle due to the Safety Factor of their clients. I was told no there is No Issue on this vehicle and No Recall. I find this very concerning even with regular maintenance this issue would not have been found. We were very fortunate we are safe but this could have ended very differently if we were on a busier Hwy. Ricardo and Sandra G

Horrible customer service and terrible technicians. Bought a NEW 2020 Ford F-250 from these guys and got a call from the CRA saying that they over-charged me on the HST portion of the purchase (which they haven’t rectified since March 2020). The service manager Tom is completely “off”. Won’t cover anything that is under the extended warranty I purchased for an additional $6,000 (plus tax). And the technicians use visibly broken devices to diagnose electrical and computer problems so that they can tell you “we had been unable to replicate the error message and there is nothing to fix”. When you bring their attention to their broken equipment, they say “oh yeah. So it is broken”. Took my truck for 3 weeks just to tell me there is nothing wrong with it. Brought it in today to show them the error message and brought them videos and pictures as proof on other occasions...but they STILL can’t find anything wrong? Really? Maybe fix your diagnostic equipment first before brushing off good paying customers and uphold your warranty! Disgusting. Will never go here again. Now I’m stuck with a lemon truck that I have to complain about to consumer protective agencies and go through the trouble of filing a suit. Thanks Oakland Ford for the awful experience!

Just bought a 2017 F150 from OakLand Ford, love the truck.
Was looking at at a 2016-2017 F150, had come by to look at the truck Oakland ford had for sale, Ron Winn helped me and answered all my questions. Wasn’t pushy, unlike the next dealer I went to check out another F150, who only wanted to deal with me if I was making a deal with them that day itself.
I came back a week later and bought the truck with them just because how I was treated at my first visit. Thank you to Brian, Matt and Ron for a great experience and for an awesome truck.
Hope this review helps when going to Oakland ford. I can’t comment on their service department as haven’t had to deal with them yet. But used car sales team one of the rare few good ones.

I want to say my experience buying my 2019 Edge Titanium was fantastic!!! Ron Winn and Brian Nichol were just great while I was trying to decide on which Edge to buy! I must say Ron was very patient with me as I thought at one time I was driving crazy trying to decide, but he went right along with me and between him and myself, I picked a great looking Edge Titanium! I must also that Brian Nichol was just great also! He helped me very much with a decent trade price on my older car and helping me with my new Michelin snow tires! I can't thank Brian enough! Don't buy here, Try Ford Kennedy or other FORD dealers. After you bought your car and you complain that there is something wrong. They will just tell you that "it passes our safety", They don't have consideration even you paid too much for CAR itself and EXTENDED WARRANTIES that cost about 4.5k CAD. They all good when your on the market for cars, but after that you'll just waste your time. Not professional/ No consideration/ Not entertained very pleasantly.

When I bought my car , I accepted an Extended warranty contract with 5 years. Then after 3 days they called me that they misquoted the contract and deducted the time/miles for warranty.

I complained that my tires are already worn out (after I bought my car) , there response is "we guarantee that it's enough for 2 years", I just drive for less than 5000kms and now when i got to my inspection I was evaluated that I need to change my tires. So it's kinda weird that after "FIRST" oil change I have to change my tires?

I was invited for an inspection, I went to the dealership then I got the chance to explain, then the only responses I get is "it passed our safety , and as long it passed our safety its not our problem". "NO INSPECTION happened as promised they just rant that they have their safety standards".

I recommend to buy on other dealership. This only cares for new comers but not recommended for car services.

Our 2015 ford edge had some minor issues to resolve while still under warranty. I took it in to White Oak ford as it is very close to our home. They told me the warranty had expired. This was premature according to the bill of sale and had to be amended by the selling dealer, White oak. I contacted them and was told the correction would be made and that they would notify me when done and we would have 30 days in which to get the work done. We were contacted and took the vehicle back to White Oak only to find that nothing had been corrected. 4 messages later to the contact at Oakland with no reply. Finally got through to him and the arranged to do yhe work at no charge to expedite the situation.
This was well and good and they were nice about it however it should never had dragged out that long. This stared in June and was finally resolved at the end of August. A long time for a simple records correction. Other than that they are a good dealership.

I had an oil change completed with the vehicle report card on Saturday August 17. Service appeared to be good and timely. The vehicle report card indicated that everything was "green" or "good" when it was given to me. However, later that day, my windshield wipers were completely worn out. Clearly the staff did not check the wipers as wipers do not wear out in a matter of hours.

I am driving my third Lincoln and have been delighted with the entire experience. There was a time when dealerships quite frankly over charged for maintenance services but those days are gone. I take my Lincoln "home" to Oak-land Ford Lincoln for ALL my servicing needs and take comfort in knowing that the staff will treat my car with great care. I feel quite safe in my Lincoln knowing that it is state of the art engineering supported by meticulous maintenance from my dealer.

Took in my Explorer for a recall, tire rotation and check of fluids on July 16, 2019. Rep was friendly and the service was done that day, and vehicle was washed too. The next day one of the tires was soft - there was nail close to the sidewall which meant it could not be repaired and had to be replaced. In Aug 2018 a similar thing happened in that I took the same vehicle in for balancing because of a slight wobble at 115 km/hr, and the cause was also reported as a nail, close to the sidewall too. Although the service was great, I'll have to avoid the area around the dealership as there must be a lot of nails in the area.

I’m a new customer of Oak-land and my first impressions tell me, I won’t be going anywhere else. From the moment I walked in first thing on a Saturday morning I was greeted by a friendly and professional Service Advisor (Tammy). Even though my vehicle couldn’t be completely fixed that day, a temporary and satisfactory solution was provided and an appointment made to come back. On the day of the appointment, Tammy was ready to greet me by name, had my paperwork ready, and intake completed within minutes. My shuttle driver was courteous and had me headed back home with only enough time to grab a coffee in the clean, well laid out and convenient customer lounge. Throughout the day Tammy kept me updated with the progress of the repair and associated costs. When it was time to pick up my vehicle, I received a text letting me know a shuttle driver has been scheduled, and the driver called me to tell me he was on his way. This never happened at the other dealerships I’ve used. When I returned to pick up my vehicle, once again, Tammy was ready to greet me by name, had paperwork ready, took the time to walk me through what was completed and her recommendations to avoid the issue in the future. My payment was processed and I was headed out to my vehicle within minutes of arriving back at the dealership. It was very nice to find my vehicle had been washed (as opposed to asking or making sure it happened at other dealerships) and a hand written “thank you” note from Tammy left inside. Nice touch!

All in all, I was blown away at the level of service all around from Oak-land. It was nice to be treated as a valued customer as opposed to feeling like I was an inconvenience which was the case while I was using Terrace Ford in Burlington.

Poor service experience at Oak-land. I don't know a lot about auto service processes as I have been fortunate to not have had any major issues with any cars thus far, but the process at Oak-land is quite frustrating.

I took my car in to change over my winter tires, and thought I would have them also take a look to see if they could figure out what was causing an odd noise when I was driving. This issue was not impacting performance at all, it's just something I noticed and thought should be a quick fix so why not have them look at it. My car ended up being with them for nearly 2 weeks, the problem was not fixed and the process is very opaque and frustrating to deal with as a customer.

I am not sure if it is industry practice, or just a Ford thing to have a centralized service system, but every time I would call for an update, I would get the response "we are waiting for the Ford engineers to tell us what to do"?? I think if I were to take my car to any auto repair shop, they diagnose and fix it on site. Not sure why Ford thinks a centralized system for fixing cars is the way to go, but it leads to a lot of frustration as a customer when the person you are speaking to is waiting on a third party to diagnose the issue. She was very helpful and apologetic, but it doesn't change the fact that it is a poor system.

Anyways, long story short, I won't be taking my car back for anything outside of routine maintenance, as I think the third party servicing model really doesn't work.

So far I am extremely impressed and this is based only on interaction with service appointment person. They were booking into May and I needed service before a long drive to Windsor. They squeezed me in. I called 3 other Lincoln dealers beforehand and no one offered to help me but Oak-land came thru. Outstanding service before I even had any service work done!!!

Awesome car-buying experience! Colin went above and beyond to ensure my needs were met. He's polite, professional, and very knowledgeable! He even took the time to explain the electronic system in great detail and gave me a tour of their well-run/clean facility! Total VIP treatment! It was a pleasure dealing with Patsy as well! Knowledgeable, professional, helpful staff. I'm very satisfied!. On a couple of occasions I had to wait several hours, instead of leaving and going back to pick up my vehicle I chose to sit in the waiting area and the staff on duty offered me lunch and escorted me to the staff lunch room where I could choose what I wanted to eat. I also noticed the owner actually takes the time to look over all the reviews and jumps into action to improve overall service and customer satisfaction. It is rare these days that people and businesses take the time to listen to what others have to say, and that explains why so many businesses out there are destined to be short-lived.

Oak-land Ford was very accommodating when I had a door lock issue that wasn’t resolved even though the warranty had passed. The service manager even took the time to mention that they wanted to make sure it was fixed properly. Great customer service.

I did not have the same commitment through Ford Canada’s customer service team. They basically said they couldn’t do anything for me. A manger was suppose to back to me in two working days and haven’t heard anything in a week.

This is my first Ford truck and have many issues with it. Not sure if I would be another one.
