Aside from excellent salesmanship and the patience to answer all my questions while buying my new Escape, the ongoing service and dealings with the dealership staff have been very positive. I suggest any person looking for a new or second-hand Ford should come to Lacombe.
Now, if you are lucky enough to live in or around Lacombe, stick around for the service. I can tell you that the staff work hard to do their best to earn and keep your trust. They also work to reduce cost as best as they can. I value customer service and relations building... and the interactions with the staff.

There was a mechanic working on the vehicle not through Ford and was getting frustrated from the axle bearing not working, I ordered an axle bearing from napa, from the ford parts department, I even showed the parts department the bearing comparison and asked how its suppose to fit in, 3 different parts people said it just fits in, the parts number has been upgraded and its supposed to look like that 🤦‍♀️ the mechanic was standing there last time we went in so my friend asked him if he'd look. Literally, a half a second and the mechanic says "it's an aftermarket axle. That explained alot! I just wanted to get home so I wound up towing the car to the Ford dealership and had them put a new axle in.

I have been going to Lacombe Ford for years. Oh I've looked at other places to buy a vehicle and I even had service done on my vehicle elsewhere. But I always go back to Lacombe Ford. Why....the people make the place! In the service they are awesome. They will drop everything to make sure I have air in my tires, look at a problem, or even put windshield wipers on for me. They always get what I need in quick turnaround and work around my schedule. On the sales side, they always seem to come up with a deal for the vehicle that I want. From sales to even the scary financing. Alex was fantastic. I took the Fusion out and said Yep that's the one. Claire was awesome and very understanding and helpful with the finances. I would go nowhere else to service or buy a vehicle.

I have forever been a ford driver and used Quick Lane and the shop for regular maintenance for a long time. I now drive a Jeep and have continued to have - hands down the best service and outcome at Lacombe Ford. They have saved me thousands of dollars on a misdiagnosed transmission and let me tell you, it's been a year and the Jeep is running like a dream. The mechanics are knowledgeable, helpful and will take my vehicle for a test drive if I think something's just a little off. I hope you get to experience the charm and quality service that these guys offer. Not to mention best oil change deal and special offers (I just won $200 over the summer in a spin to win deal). Very dissatisfied and disappointed. They used to very good shop but recently I had taken my escape to get looked at for a rear end howl, they said the howl was from my front wheel bearings and my tires. They said tires create road noise ect and not to worry but my front wheel bearings are completely worn out on one side and going on the other, I was suspicious considering I came in for rear end noise not front end plus I had just gotten my front wheel bearings replaced a year previous so I got second opinions!

Turns out there’s absolutely nothing wrong with my wheel bearings, not the back or the front but what’s causing my noise is I face a bent rim making my tire cup. Ford told me that it was road noise and didn’t even check the tires as far as that goes considering they did not tell me or put on the report that I had a bent rim or tire cupping. They literally wanted me to pay for something that wasn’t even wrong with my car and would also not even fix my problem!!! Very dissatisfied and upset I spent the money on a diagnosis check just to be screwed around

I gpt the best truck buy or vehicle buy in my life at Lacombe Ford. They bought out one F150 Ford I had, and they gave me a new F-150 a few years back, and I put an extended maitenance package on it, and eventually a remote start, and a cover for the cargo hold. That was in 2012. The truck works excellently, and the service is the best in the world. Plus ther is tiresd for life. Lacombe Ford is the place to get your car and truck. We made an appointment on Thursday for Monday morning, it was suggested we get there around 8. We get to the location shortly there after, we are not in the system the appointment was not made and we had to drive 30 mins, my husband took time off work and they did not even have the right part to get us in until the following day. We asked why the parts were not ordered as the lady we made the appointment knew the reason of the service call. we just moved from Calgary and indented to use this dealership for both of our vehicles. Well that simply is not happening now. This is extremely poor customer service, lack of communication, simply not capable of doing their job of inputting appointments.

I have dealt with Lacombe Ford for many years now, and can compare them to many other dealers in red deer, edmonton, grand prairie, edson, hinton, ect..ect... I have never had the same quality of service from any of the other dealers I have used. Of course, everyone will have a negative to say about their bad experiences, usually those bad experiences are to do with ignorance or not understanding how warranties or repair work goes. So go and try all these other dealers like I have, and than you will see!!!

My experience at Lacombe ford was one of service. Brought my truck in for a pinion seal repair. Was told truck good to go, I made it to Blackfalds noted a lot of smoke rolling out behind truck. Long story short turned out that pinion nut not torqued properly backed off blew out seal, in my opinion this caused serious damage to rear end that had been re bearinged 4000km ago. Not by Lacombe, but non the less it had all new bearings. They did put in a new rear end which they said they'd do at cost, (looked up the numbers it was not at cost) I made it 800kms and new rear end grenaded. Apparently general opinion is that wrong shims were used. Also the week prior to that my duallies blew off and an examination of the lugs showed that there was rust on the interior which is an indication of over torque. You guessed it I had lacombe ford put new tires on. There was some other issues with my wife's edge as well get them to check it out and on their sheet shows that they checked and cleaned battery terminals. Two days later she needs a boost, mainly due to oxide build up on terminals. Honestly find the service side lacking, well really think they suck. But nice people. I'm buying a new truck this fall, it will not be from them. Cuz your vehicle is only as good as your dealerships service.

Lacombe Ford is an awesome place. I have been around alot of dealership and this (by far) is the best. And by the way sydney....the oil pan is not removed for an oil change....your story dont jive. And for the wheel bearing story below... the 3 min drive is not the diag charge, he is just the guy who tries to determine what it may be, whos the best tech for the job, and estimates the time needed. The tech does his own diag before working on it.

Never go to ford. I went in for an oil change and I brought it home and it started to poor out oil. I took it into the main shop for a FREE (as they told me) quote on how much it would be to fix the leek. They charged me 200$ for the "FREE" quote. The oil pan was over tightened by who ever changed my oil and they won't own up for it .costing me over 2300$ for their mistake!
