The guy in charge of buying used cars must have serious mental issues. Asked me if I had the original mags for the car on the phone and I said yes and brought them. Then insisted we agreed on giving him all 8 of my mags when we didn't.. he just walked away without even trying to resolve the issue or even mentioning why he was so upset. guy has some screws missing.. STAY AWAY FROM THIS DISGUSTING DEALERSHIP

ATROCIOUS CUSTOMER SERVICE. If at all possible I would rate it a no star. While our initial dealings with our sales representative were very positive, upon purchase of the vehicle we were met with nothing but exceptionally poor/non-existent customer service. Our car had a fault immediately upon receiving and we were told it was nothing and would be covered by a warranty. In fact the issue was caused by their service team while preparing the vehicle and actually voided the warranty as we discovered from another service centre. It took 6 months of constant phone calls and emails to receive any satisfaction in resolving the issue. Dealings with the General Manager were frustrating as he would end calls and not respond to any emails. When approached on the issue he stated it was not worth his time or effort to solve a problem once a vehicle was sold. I would never deal with or recommend to anyone to deal with this dealership!!! TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE

I emailed a few dealers last week to look for an SUV. I first spoke to Lasalle Chevy/GMC and was VERY disappointed when they said they can’t give me a quote by email or on the phone. I explained that i I have kids and with COVID, it’s hard for me to go to the dealership. William from Hamel got back to me the same day and was able to give me a quote right away. So I went on Friday to test drive my first GMC. The service I received from him was amazing. After the test drive, he took the time (and stayed after hours) to go over my options and I signed the same night for a new SUV. I got an amazing deal and I picked up my car today... everything was quick and extremely pleasant. I would deal with William for my next car and I would refer him to friends that are looking for a GMC or Chevy. His knowledge in GM cars was great. Hamel is lucky to have him in their team! Merci William!

I went to the dealership for car maintenance and change tires. Bought the car 2 months ago said I don’t want the inspection but they still tried to sell it to me by adding it on the bill. After, I was asked to wait in the waiting room for an employee to drive me home instead of waiting all day over. 50 minutes of wait later no news nobody knows where and when the driver would come. Decided to order an Uber. The service is terrible but at least the place is clean.

I will avoid any further dealings with them,
They sell me a suv very good looking but has lot of mechanical problems.
Radio turn on off automatically when its cold outside, after a car wash there were lot of scratches on the rear bumper which they did excellent job at hiding during selling the car, thirdly most importantly car transmission jerks during rain in 2 and 3 gear(very bad jerks).
Will keep updating for more faults.
They said we have tested each thing mechanically. Their manager tested for many days by driving to work etc. Clearly a lie.

Bought my car however I was charged taxes though I gave my old car. To my understanding if you have paid taxes on one car., you don't to pay tax on new car. Customer service at service station is really bad, they don't care what you do you want but only what they want to offer.

Customer service has been substandard for my last 3 service visits. Today's service appointment was again slow, took over 2.5 hours to install 4 tires and complete a wheel alignment. When asked to speak to the service manager the response was that he would like to see me but was with a gm representative, and could not be disturbed. Again a lack of customer service which seems to be a common occurrence at this dealership.

I didn't deal with Hamel directly, I dealt with the 3rd Chance finance company located inside. I went in and I had a car I wanted, I told them which company to submit the application for approval. 3 weeks went by and all they did was tell me lie after lie. It was by far the most awful service I have ever received. It all came to a head when I visited again, this time they tell me they don't deal with the company that I had asked them to submit an application too. It was the only reason I went there, my credit is poor and I had a good relationship with my current finance company. I was obviously upset but then instead of being straight with me after three weeks the manager Claude said that he would put in an application to the company I chose. He said he would call me at two. It was noon. So I left and ran errands. 3 comes and no call, I call back and he said he put in the application and he was waiting for a call back. I was pumped! I was going to get the car I wanted. To help things a long I reached out to my contact at my finance company to check in on things, make sure there were no hiccups. I find out there was no application made to them. This time I'm fed-up. I go back to the dealership to confront them and ask why they have lied to me, the manager Claude lost his temper and told me to get out. So essentially, when called on his BS he couldn't own up to it, he decided to publicly and loudly kick me out. All I wanted was to buy a car, with my current finance company at their dealership. That was clearly too much to ask. So I left, not without getting heated myself. I think I was in shock really after it all and just the sheer bs I had gone through with this company. While other members of the office seemed very friendly and professional and the sales staff in the front floor were always courteous and helpful, Claude and the guy I dealt with for three weeks Hubert were shady and had that sickly slimey salesperson vibe. I'm not sure if they are capable of telling the truth or if they even know how to conduct business without lying. I can't comment on who they are personally in their lives but professionally the worse individuals I have ever dealt with in my life. My situation, credit and whatnot were complicated, I know all to well however if they had been upfront and honest from day one my perspective on them would be very different. Even if they weren't able to get me approved but had just been truthful about it I would have given them rave reviews. I wouldn't take my business to them or Hamel ever again, I don't want to make that decision for you but I will say this, buyer beware.

If you have an electric car (like I do) and you are in desperate need of a charger, AVOID THIS PLACE. The app “Circuit Électrique” shows two free chargers in this location. It is true but they don’t let you use them. Besides, the customer service in this place is the WORST I have ever experienced. Just to confirm that this is true, check the other reviews. They look fake.
I’m a visible minority and even in the smallest ”racist” towns in southern US they have let me charge my car. EVEN WHEN THEY DON’T SELL THE BRAND I’M DRIVING!!! But not in good ol’ Montreal Nord!.
I was going to tell the “gentleman” I spoke with that my other car is a Volt, but I known that was not going to be enough. You know when you are talking to a jerk.
Good thing my Pacifica is a hybrid and I just kept driving.
I’m reporting this to the CE app and to Chevrolet.

Would truly recommend to only buy new products and nothing used at this dealership. Buying from a reputable dealership, you would believe that their certified products are actually well inspected. After purchasing a 2011 Audi R8 months ago, premium price and it started off with wore off tires which the salesman Christian indicated the opposite. After thorough inspection from a true certified mechanic and driving the car 3000kms, a major overhaul in the rear end with a $7000.00 fix which Hamel wants nothing of it. Any assistance would of been appreciated from Hamel. A true showmanship of sales, yet a sleazy certified vehicle tactic let’s them cheat off their inventory to the public
