We had our SUV serviced here and had a horrible experience and would not recommend this dealership for service to anyone. When dropping off and picking up our car we had a difficult time getting questions answered. We asked if they could take a look at the interior roof which had a about 4 very small mud splatter dots and they did not confirm one way or another whether this would be possible to look at, let alone address. When we picked up the car we were charged double due to an additional fee for the roof, which was never mentioned. When we called to discuss they said there was nothing they could do aside from a small (very small) discount off a future oil change. The staff we talked to to set up we’re pleasant and the shuttle service was helpful, but the lack of communication from within the service centre and the additional fees is less than professional. Would not recommend getting your car serviced here to anyone when you can find better service else where in town.

0 star if I could, not only am I totally turned off buying another used vehicle, I'm definitely not from Mike Jackson GM. After waiting over a month the 2nd key fob does not even work. I of course got the extended coverage and on my first service visit that was a total debacle. Next oil change visit I get the recommended full point inspection and get a quote for over $1000 of things that should of been done before I bought the vehicle off them.

The staff at the Service Dept. are absolutely ridiculous. I went this morning for an oil change. Drove up, asked the guy at the desk if I pulled up far enough, he said "yes". Shut car off, got out, then, a lady beside him gets in my car, & moves it up about 3 feet. I said to her, I just asked if I pulled up far enough, & that guy said "yes". She said another car is coming behind. It was a small car - you could have put a truck easily behind my car! Then I asked how much the oil change would be - same guy said $60 + tax. When I got the bill, it was $85.00, & we argued over it. While waiting in waiting room, I took my mask off to finish my coffee. Same guy walks by & orders me to put my mask on "between sips"!!! I will NEVER EVER go here again. The dealership in Barrie treat you like gold. I will go there from now on for any future oil changes. Unbelievable experience - I've shared with my neighbours, who were just as stunned.

Trying to go to this dealership is a waste of your time. I went 10 days ago looking at trucks and was very interested in info and pricing on a new chevy truck. I test drove a used one and my wife really loved it. Told the associate i was very interested and wanted to know pricing. Told him i didn't want used and want to buy a 2022 model and was willing to put money down because i knew it was a wait. He was speaking to another customer and seemed more interested in them than me and my wife. I left my business card and asked if he could email me pricing on a new 2022. Been 10 days no response. I mentioned we were looking for a bigger truck with a bigger back than our Toyota Tacoma and he made little slights on how ppl arent happy with Toyota seats and they arent any good, very unprofessional.
4 years ago I had the same experience when i went looking at Chevy HD truck. I should of never went back this time after my experience 4 years ago. 4 years ago after the bad experience I went to Toyota bought a new Tundra, this time went back and put money on a new 2022 Tundra as our family vehicle. This dealership lost potential 2 new vehicle sales. Ill never go there ever again.

I have had nothing but negative experiences from dealerships here in Owen Sound. Not at Mike Jackson GM! Bring my truck in for a TSB. Right off the hop the place is set up for success. Drive through style registration, service manager on site and does not even need to test drive vehicle. Takes the time to explain the TSB and the differences I should expect post service. Waiting room was air cooled and service lady offered me, my GF and the dog ice cold bottled water. Every employee there respected the Covid restrictions and I look forward to returning.

Disappointing as usual. No communication, took way longer than they said with many excuses why. All apologetic after the fact but only because “I was in a panic” or so the message was delivered. They left their COVID plastic in my truck thrown on the passenger side. Employees repeatedly walked right past me in the waiting room without observing a 6 foot space when there was plenty of room to give me the space.
I had vowed not to return after multiple times of being overcharged by service and the service manager never would address it. I bought my new truck at Georgian in Barrie but was hoping that this dealership could handle a simple oil change...next time I’ll drive to Barrie.
They don’t understand customer service.

My husband took my Escalade in to have it checked because the battery kept dying on the vehicle. They told us it was my fob key battery. It turns out it had nothing to do with my fob battery. So they basically gave my truck back in the same state that I gave it to them. They admitted they didn’t do a full diagnostic test on my truck. Sheer laziness!

I bought a Chevy Cruze from Mike Jackson GM 1 year ago, and before that I had a hand-me down Sunfire also from Mike Jackson. I was worried when I went there to look for my first car because I knew nothing about buying a car and I was scared that I would get swindled.

Bradley Allen was the representative that helped me. Not only did I get a 2015 fully loaded Cruze that I LOVE, but I know I got the best deal. Brad looked through every discount he could possibly offer me. I felt comfortable asking him questions, he was honest and knowledgeable. If I asked a question that he didn't have the answer to, he promptly asked someone or found the answer so that when I signed the papers I was confident I had made the best decision.

A year later, Brad checked in with me to be certain I was still happy with my Cruze. He told me that within the next 2-3 years I can trade it in and asked if there was anything else he could do for me.

I recommend Mike Jackson GM and most importantly Brad Allen 100%.

Dealt with service rep named Janice. She's hard to miss, looks like a man. I wasn't even out of my car and she was at my door with a clipboard, like a dog begging for a treat. I told her that I had dealt with Ashley in the past and that I enjoyed her professional service and would like to work with her again. Janice advised me that Ashley was unable to help me, I was under the impression that she meant she was busy/away. I gave Janice my info and she immediately started trying to upsell me, even though I knew what I was in for. After I, quite reluctantly, handed my keys over to her, she drove my car out of the bay and parked it around back of the building. Not 2 minutes later, Ashley returned from washing another customer's vehicle. She was there the whole time, Janice straight up lied to me. I'm disgusted that someone so ignorant and unprofessional would be allowed to work there. Speaks wonders of the owners who keep people like her on staff. Will not be returning as long as she is working there.
