You feel like you are dealing with family here. It's always a pleasant experience dealing with their staff. Whether it's service, parts, or sales, there seems to be an emphasis on being knowledgeable, helpful, and friendly. I have purchased vehicles here and had them serviced here. Caveat.. . They are currently changing ownership so I am hopeful they carry on as usual.

Showed up to pickup an item that one of their employees was selling for the business on market place, have an agreement to be there by 4 and I should up at 3:45 to find out they sold it to someone else for $20 bucks more. I appreciated the apology from the sales guy who was trapped in the middle, as someone else had posted it and he was just handling the transaction. Poor way to do business. Makes an easy decision for me that it’ll be my one and only time doing any business there.

I am very impressed with the excellent service that I received at Aitken Chevrolet in Simcoe. After purchasing an electric car at another dealership three weeks ago, it stopped working. I called Aitken and spoke to their service manager, Chris. He gave me some suggestions to try and gave me the number to call for a tow truck to come ASAP, the cost of which was covered by GMC. Chris called to keep me informed of what was happening and the cost involved. He took my car for a test drive afterwards to ensure that everything was working as it should be. The service that I got when I arrived to pay my bill was amazing! When I bought the car, that dealership put undercoat on the back-up camera lens. Aitken's service team used three different products until I could use the back up camera safely (compared to the other dealership that told me to use nail polish remover). They fixed my back door which had been in a locked position since I bought the car, and they washed my car. Aitken fixed the car in a timely manner, were more than fair with their pricing, and were professional, courteous, and kind throughout this ordeal. I highly recommend this dealership and I will only be taking my car there from now on.

I will never be returning to Aitkens after today! I was harassed by the owner for not buying my 2020 Silverado from Aitkens after picking up my truck from its first oil change. I was told "its people like me that will put them out of business because I didn't buy local".. I have been quoted by sales staff in the past at this location and have not found them competitive on price. Very disappointed with the customer service I received today. Instead of listening to me about why I didn't buy the truck from them all the owner wanted to do was argue.

They sold me a 2019 trail boss in August 2019 the 4x4 and the t/c came on brought it I was told to trun it engine off so the mechanic couldn't find the problem and it a probably an front drive actuator they are guessing and t/c couldn't find the problem . The emergency brakes applying while driving the vehicle my family onboard and they couldn't find the problem and still cannot fix the problem gmc don't care and aitken wouldn't ring gmc because I had too do it yesterday tom you were trying to gave me the vehicle and today tom you won't so the a problem with all vehicle tom and treated so bad by tom that the faults 3the truck was not done properly because they didn't want to find the by telling me turn off the engine because they wanted to do it but by bit because they are trying to there are no problem with there vehicle

If there was an option of “below zero star” rating, Aitken Motors would be awarded negative five for customer service. Buy out of the leased vehicle through them was a real nightmare. Note, that the vehicle was purchased at another dealer and we could not return to the same dealer due to recent move out of the area. Lack of communication internally within Aitken Motors and with the customer was evident through out the entire process.
1. The dealer has not responded to numerous messages left on their answering service
2. Phone inquires have been forwarded to incorrect rep.
3. Only an in-person conversation started the process only to be dropped for a month. Again, a personal inquiry revealed the file being passed to another person who failed to act on it.
4. Finally, dealing with one rep who although was making progress with buy out, was arrogant enough to refer to a person in the emails by last name without a Mr/Mrs title, TWICE.
5. Customer was not updated on the progress of the safety inspection and readiness of the vehicle. On a plus side, dealership has provided a use of replacement vehicle for the duration of the inspection which was much appreciated.
6. After the payment for the vehicle was made, the “buck was passed” twice within the dealership and the paperwork was not finalized within the promised time. The customer was once again not advised of the delay.
Based on this experience, this dealership has lost a potential customer and it will not be recommended.
