They will try to rip you off if you bring your car in for servicing especially if your a young woman. Go to Sullivan motor products instead.

Dishonest dealership in my experience. Their mechanics “missed” $2000 dollars in repairs and they refused to take accountability after purchase. They sold me me a vehicle for a Taxi service, and they did an inspection and we negotiated all vital repairs into the price. I find our later the inspection they did was not a CVSE inspection necessary for taxis, and after paying them to do an inspection they should have done knowing I was buying it for a taxi, and asked specifically for them to check to ensure all necessary repairs were done for me when it came off the lot, they failed the vehicle because they found $2000 worth of repairs needed before it can be commercial. I asked to negotiate for them to pay for these repairs, but they only offered 20% off parts and repairs if it was done in their shop and parts bought through them, knowing full well it was already done elsewhere because they scanned in the receipts I brought for them. I’m unhappy with their service, and I recommend getting another shop to check over vehicles you’re about to purchase from them, because they will refuse to hold their mechanics accountable if a few months have lapsed, or they will purposefully hide expensive repairs to limit negotiating on their price. We will be purchasing two more vehicles, doing regular repairs on our fleet, and inspections every 6 months, and we would have been happy to do it all through them, so if they are willing to do this to a business that they would make several hundred thousand dollars from, they will do it to a struggling individual. Try a better dealership if possible.

Coast Mountain GM did a comprehensive inspection on my diesel truck for me and a partial fluid change with additives at my request. Service was prompt and efficient, all points were explained and faults successfully located, costs reasonable, was happy with the work and while I hope I don’t have to go back soon, I’ll be reassured when I do.

I had bad experiences with Chevy service down in the Interior, but so far, Spencer and his team here in Smithers are doing a good job.
Granted, they had a low bar to be better than their Okanagan colleagues, but they’re definitely miles better, and they’re earning my trust with each visit. I’m grateful for that. 👍

Zero stars! Terrible. They installed a part and it was faulty and didn’t bother to check their work, nearly ruining my power steering pump. When I called to address it, they wanted to charge me $600 more to assess and fix it. I have a warranty issue I need fixed and I’m hesitant to get it done here!

Horrible service, I wish I could give zero stars but I guess that isn’t an option. Took my truck there for an oil change and asked for a diagnosis on an issue with a squeak in the front end. They said it was the fan belt and ordered it on warranty, couldn’t get a belt for 21 days. After a fight with them on another matter I took it somewhere else only to find out that the fan belt wasn’t even the issue, it was the water pump, they had the fan belt and the water pump in stock that day and fixed it. I was talked to with extreme rudeness and lack of customer service from the service manager at coast mountain and never once was given an apology. I will never ever go to coast mountain again, nor will I ever recommend them to any one. 0/5 stars

The worst service department they would rather your truck "completely fail" before they would look into any warranty work. Took my truck there with an overheating transmission. Truck was there for more than 2 weeks and nothing was fixed or any problems addressed with my truck. Drove it down the road 40 munites and did the exact same thing I took it in there to get fixed or looked at. Very unprofessional staff.
I would give a zero for patronizing me when talking about my vehicle in the service department. I will be bringing my business elsewhere for the disrespectful service! It may not mean much to the service department and not care; however, I refuse to be treated the way you spoke to me. Find another none service job!

Horrible service, computer says there's no problems with my brand new trucks noisy brakes, they won't even look at them, always been offered a loaner to drive, this time they refused, I buy 2 new trucks every couple years, been a die hard chevy guy my whole life, new to this town and will never deal with this shop again, I'm a business man, my time is valuable I don't have time to play there games

These guys are great I needed to get back on the road and Scott made that happen. They fixed a Nissan truck at a Chevy dealer like it was one of there own. He was welling to take his son’s rims to make it happen lol. Seriously he helped me get everything I need and Curtis was an amazing machanic. He got the job done quick and gave me a lot of good tips over all these guys and gal are amazing life savers. So far the saying is true all Canadians are friendly.

This dealership had my vehicle for 3 weeks and did not contact me one single time to keep me informed about progress on my truck. I contacted them 3 times and each time they apologized for not keeping me posted but did not call me once.
The service manager told me the truck was fixed after the first week but an electrical short came up after driving 2 hours and I had to return to the dealership. They had it two more weeks past this and still no calls. When I finally called them the last time they told me it was fixed the day prior and still no one called to tell me.
The absolute worst service of any dealership I’ve been to. Next time I’m driving to Houston to Sullivan so I can have things done right.

Service department is good, but best make an appointment first. All issues resolved in a courteous, timely manner. They need more techs and bays to accommodate their volume, or maybe extend their service hours.
