Unethical Sales Process - 2 situations when I was recently buying a used car with trade-in from them...

1) We came to an agreement - in writing - on the value of my trade-in. 1/2 hour later they reneged on it. I should have walked away, but I didn't. We negotiated a bit and they came up a small amount - but still short of what they had committed to in writing and we had a deal.

2) When I picked up my new (used) vehicle, they had changed the contract without advising me. The contract I originally signed included the original OEM summer tires (in addition to the winter tires.) They removed that line from the final agreement. When I called them on this, they played dumb for a quite a while. I suggested that they were either trying to be sneaky to correct a mistake or that they were hoping to make more money by selling these on Kijiji. They said "we're BMW, we don't do that." Turns out they had the tires sitting in their showroom. They had removed them from the trunk, changed the contract and were hoping I wouldn't catch them. This was an intentional, deceitful act. I'm guessing they were trying to get more money out of me because of #1, but changing a customer's contract and not telling them is not the way to fix that.

Don't believe this dealership when they say they hold themselves to a high standard as a BMW dealership. An agreement is an agreement and they should honour it. A signed contract is a legal document and they should honour it. There should be no question in a customer's mind as to whether they are going to do something unethical or lacking integrity. With this dealership you cannot trust them.

My car was running fine until I had it serviced at Policaro. Went back 3 times to fix the problem, and now they are blaming me for it. A high luxury vehicle should have royalty for service. I don't need attitude. Taking my business elsewhere.

I brought my car in to replace a recall.

My whole experience was good. Reception was very nice and accommodating while calling to book. Daniel texted me throughout the process which was nice because I couldn’t always answer the calls.

They advised me what was getting done and when it was finished. They also advised me on other areas on my car that were not up to par which I appreciated. I will go back once I gather some money to perform.

They also found 50 bucks in my car and left a note on it and put it where it was visible. (Which they easily
Didn’t have to do) but was very much appreciated.

Terrible experience, Used car sale department is joke They would promise the world and deliver nothing. Purchased used x5 nothing but problem since I picked up the vehicle.

Please be advise:
If you do buy a used vehicle please be aware of paperwork, payment structure, vehicle safety (I would recommend you have a trusted auto shops/body shops preferably European specialists triple inspect Inside out)

We were big on BMW’s and recently bought two form this dealer but fortunately because of this experience we have second thoughts going back.

worst experience ever!! Bought a 2014 BMW X5 on Jan 31.2020 two days later i noticed two of the front tires Have Almost no tread on the edges and one of them had a bulge, reached out to the sales personnel and his manager about the this safety issue, started sending text messages, emails, phone calls and then The response came two weeks later From use car sales manager only him to say that these tires pass safety.

Paid to get a problem diagnosed however it was covered under a recall months later. Did not get my money back. The techs who work here are apprentices and the service desk staff are incompetent. If you are not covered under warranty I would advise you go to a BMW independent shop who will give you better prices and also better service for your investment.

I am very disappointed with their services. couple weeks ago, I had minor problem with my car and I went there since I purchased my vehicle from there, they said they need to perform some tests with my car. After that, a person came to me saying that we have a good news and bad news. Good news is we found the problem and bad news is cost ( which was $1100 ).
I asked them what happened? He said motor and regulator are not working. I denied their service and brought back my vehicle to different shop. People you know what, OTHER SHOP fixed my car problem within an hour with few money.
In conclusion, I STRONGLY ADVISE PEOPLE TO BEWARE BEFORE GOING TO SUCH PLACES since they don’t believe in service, honesty and finding root cause. I never expected this from BMW DEALERSHIP. WHAT A PITY.

Policaro had a website where you could purchase parts online so I called them to make sure they had the part in stock and I could pick it up on the weekend. They said yeah sure we don't have it in our store but if you purchase it we will have it ready for the weekend for me to pick up. So I made the purchase, called on the weekend before I made the trip there and they said they cancelled the order because it was over $1000. What? Why did you not tell me this when I called? Why did you say yeah go ahead and purchase? Also informed them the part was less than $1000. Why didn't you aleast call me or email me that the order was cancelled? I paid I full with no complaints. They made up excuse after excuse. I wanted a item, you gave me a price, I paid, you cancelled my order because it was too much money. Do you know how to do business?

Didn't buy the car here, but went in for warranty repair. I drive a 430 with 20 thousand kilometers. My parking break doesn't disengage completely, causing excessive wear on the pads. I've never had a car where the parking break doesn't fully disengage, definitely not a car that expensive. But since the first comment I stepped into this dealership I have been told it's normal wear and tear, that I am responsible for damaging the breaks and that the warranty doesn't cover user error. They had not even seen my car by then. I booked an appointment and the service rep said the same thing. I never asked for pad replacement, which is something I've never ever heard anyone doing on a parking break, but that the parking break system be looked at, since on a car this young it shouldn't fail.
Instead of listening and trying to understand the problem, my wife and I felt humiliated by the staff that was adamant our car is old and rusty and we are not using it properly.
I have only bought German cars my whole life and have never been mistreated at a dealership before, let alone have a vehicle that young give me trouble. From this point onwards I am just going to avoid every Policaro dealership, which is a shame because I believe they're not all the same. But I will not do business with a company that treats me like a moron.

I switched to Policaro BMW last year for my service needs on my X3 and have yet to be disappointed. My last visit several weeks ago was for a simple oil and filter change but they discovered a leak in the valve cover which was later determined to be a hairline crack. Not only did they take care of my car but they took care of me as well.

Amandeep, the Service Consultant was great at keeping me in the loop on the repair status as it took longer than expected. Robert, their Shop Foreman looked into the issue and oversaw the repairs and Shawn, their Service Manager set my up with a courtesy car. He called me several times updating me on status and warranty request to BMW Canada on my out of warranty vehicle. Turns out he was able to save me some money. And to boot, he arranged to dropped off my vehicle and pick up the courtesy car at my home when it was ready. Now that is service!

Policaro BMW was extremely thorough and addressed all my needs and concerns. Worth the drive to Brampton . . . especially when I work downtown Toronto.

It is a great place but they charge more than other dealers and I don't get why... I used to go to BMW Mississauga but starting to go this one as it's more convenient for me and my first experiences were great (was there on opening). But last time I called to book an oil change and a tire swap I was quoted $270 for the oil change and $90 for the tire swap. I called BMW Mississauga because that's not the price I remembered and BMW Mississauga quoted me $190 for the oil change and $75 for the tire swap. It's a nice location but not worth me paying that much more.

I have to say, Policaro BMW was the most pleasant car buying experience I've had to date. Audrey Tan (my sales consultant) was simply outstanding. I would highly advise anyone looking to buy a vehicle to at least have a chat with her. There's no sales tactics or pressure, just honest and open communication. Once my deal was done, she made sure it was a seamless transaction and I was impressed that she even responded to my requests/questions about the sale on her day off! Actually, Audrey and the entire team at Policaro have been amazing. Friendly, courteous and professional - which is rarity these days. I will definitely go back for my next vehicle and encourage you to do the same.

We just recently bought our first BMW at Policaro and it was a very smooth no stress experience. Devi was there every step of the way making sure that we see all our options and let us decide in our own time. She gave her full attention, time and expertise all through out. Not only did she exceed our expectations, she also made the whole experience fun and exciting. I highly recommend her if you're planning to get a BMW.
