Best service I ever had is at Clarkdale VW. Advisor Mickey H kept me well informed on the repair process and was able to return my car back within the same day. He was very polite and has very good knowledge on VW product. He was able to identify the issue I had with the car very quickly. Thank you Mickey H.

Clarkdale Volkswagen really made my day by having a roof rack especially suited to my vehicle in the back, the guy who help me it was such a homey and he gave me 50% off of the roof rack which I was very excited about and installed it as soon as getting home. Great dealership can’t wait to go there again
FANTASTIC! I have been in the automotive industry myself for over fifteen years, focusing largely on premium brands, and the level of aftersales care I recently received from Clarkdale was simply unheard of in this field. My salesperson AJ, service advisor Chris, service manager Phil, workshop foreman Chad, and ultimately general manager Chris Lane, all went out of their way, above and beyond to make sure I was looked after. And the honesty throughout this process was very much appreciated. To say this talented team is truly exceptional would be an understatement!

Jody, Kevin and Christina who is not in this picture but must be mentioned because she looked at the computer screen and it did whatever she was thinking! These three people made my day! Walked into Clarkdale two months ago with the intention of test driving a certified pre-owned vehicle and walked away as owners. Kevin was a delight to work with and worked hard to get us the best deal possible. He was able to keep the car within our budget, even adding a four year warranty. Since then, we’ve taken her on two road trips and are about to embark on a third. Couldn’t be happier.
Great service. I had taken my car in for repair and Mickey was the service advisor. He made sure to explain everything clearly, updating the status of the vehicle, was very organized in getting the claims ready. I was also very happy with service received from other staff at this VW. I would recommend this Dealership over other ones such as Burnaby.
I came in to have my front license plate mount installed. I already had the part so didn’t have to pay for that. I had to make an appointment for 10:45am and didn’t get car back until 4:20pm. I was charged $64. At the time I thought this was pricey and a long time to wait for such a simple maneuver. The very next day I am at Nissan with my girlfriend who is having the same thing done. They charge her nothing and do it on the spot, no appointment necessary. They do it right away and it took them literally 2 minutes at the most. By comparison my experience was pretty bad service and a bit of a rip off. 2 stars instead of 1 because the guy who helped me Dwayne was friendly.
I recently dropped my 2010 GTI in for some repairs at Clarkdale. I have taken my car here several times and have always been happy with the service they provide. However, this particular visit, I was even more impressed with the service. Chris, the service consultant I was dealing with, was top notch. He was in constant communication with me during the entire service. I was offered a ride home (I know it's advertised) which was still nice considering the number of times I've had to ask for it. The mechanic performed a free vehicle inspection and highlighted some issues with my vehicle that I was not aware of. When I inquired about these issues, Chris was very honest; It wasn't the experience I have had at other shops, where any issue is "MAJOR" and needs to be fixed immediately. I've taken my vehicle to other garages but Clarkdale VW will be my shop of choice as long as I have my car.
I had appointment for a yellow engine light that came on. My son, who is a full licensed mechanic plugged in a OBii reader and find out the problem yesterday. Since my car are still under warranty, so I took it to Clarkdale anyway. When I told the situation to the service advisor. He did not listen to anything I said. Just said when the code is deleted, he was unable to read it again. I tried to show him a photo on my phone that recorded what show on the OBii reader, he refused to look at it. The service advisor simply ignored anything I said. Do you think his job should be getting information from owner and give that information to the mechanic. Ì refused to have my car service there again.
I purchased a vehicle from this dealership about three months ago, and it has been one of the best choices I've ever made! Kevin Kutasi was incredibly patient, and knowledgeable and friendly. Christina Duncan went above and beyond with her customer service. She was quick, efficient and able to find me the perfect plan that best suited my needs. I would highly recommend purchasing a vehicle from here. Best customer service I've ever received!

Chris Lacusta is the man to see to service your Volkswagen. I am quite detail oriented... I had many small requests from him when I brought in my car in for service and he fully addressed every single concern I had. He went out of his way to impress me with the quality of service and effort he puts in. A competing Volkswagen dealer close by did not deliver anything close to what he did. I have worked in the car industry in the past and I have worked with many people in service. Chris by far knows what he is doing and goes above and beyond what many others do. So thank you very much for your effort and detail and keep it up.
Is there a 0 star option? Clarkdale Volkswagen destroyed valuable items in my vehicle, and would not replace them or work together with me on the issue. I have gone to the BBB and am currently dealing with several lawyers. Clarkdale Volkswagen has ruined my opinion on Volkswagen’s as a whole.
5 star service and a beautiful, clean dealership. Chris, Jens and Jamie were amazing and accommodated me by taking in my Atlas last minute due to my unexpected travel plans. I didnt purchase my Atlas from them, but I wish I did. They will definitely have my business for life!
I recently took our Golf R to Clarkdale in January to purchase and install winter rims and tires. They had some great suggestions and offered competitive pricing. Everyone was very professional to deal with and they took very good care of the car while it was there. I had a number of special requests that Chris Lacusta (Manager) helped me with. Would highly recommend dealing with Chris! I'll be returning for the next required service and wheel swap soon.
Not a great service we got from these guys. First the salesman and I had language barrier. Second no one was told me about the emissions problem the car had. They rushed us into signing the papers. The car was on sale for $17500 and they agreed to lower the price by $15,500., but when I looked at the papers the price was not lowered at all.
Sometimes later I called to cancel my extended warranty since I never used it, got a run around. The lady who sold the extended warranty does not work there anymore, and manager hanged up the phone on me. I called few more time and they always said we will get back to you, but no one ever did. Plus not sure how they calculate the interest, I might be little week, in math but it does make sense at all. I feel like I been taken advantage of this. I will not be going to them for anything. They left a bad taste in my mouth.
Eric is a great salesman and Andy is great delivery specialist. I was comfortable to test drive with Eric compare to an other salesman in the dealership.
However the financial manager scared me a lot when she tried to tell some stories and examples of people who didn’t buy extended warranty.
Fantastic service... I've been taking my car to Clarkdale for a while now and every single time I've been treated like royalty (without the price tag) everyone from front desk to service to sales to higher management has always taken the time to make my wife and I feel like one of the family.

I had to take my car back twice for a simple winter tire change because the warning pressure light came on the following day indicating low pressure. That was an unpleasant surprise. Also wasted a lot of time trying to book another appointment (they don't return calls) to have the tire checked and turn off the warning light. Caused a lot of unnecessary waste of time from work.
For out of town buyers I would recommend Mike, the sales manager, and Eric Chen the salesman. Eric gave me all the detailed information I needed to ensure the car was as advertised. I did my own homework on price and Mike easily negotiated a fair price and refundable deposit over the phone. Road testing and delivery was excellent but it became evident that the battery on the 5 year old Honda was worn out.. Being Sunday their shop was closed and I had to get back to Victoria. I took delivery anyway with the promise that Clarkdale would send a check for my purchase of a new battery. They sent the check immediately after I send the battery receipt. I have bought many cars and have to say Eric was one of the best salesman I have dealt with. No pressure or false promises. A vey pleasant person.

Was on my way to Seattle for a long weekend when my Maintenance Engine Light came on. Drove to Clarkdale at 2:00pm on the Friday and although they were booked up and getting ready to for the weekend the Customer Care Advisor, Tina S. was able to squeeze us in, have a valve fixed and on our way within an hour. It was amazing service they were not required to do. This was service above and beyond.

Please do not deal with this company. I wanted to do a straight forward test drive of a 2017 Audi R8 which was advertised for sale. I was informed that I would have to pay a $500 deposit which would NOT be refunded if I did not purchase the vehicle. This is absurd and probably not even legal. Management shows utter disdain and arrogance in dealing with customers and should not be trusted.
Picked up our new Golf R today. Been a VW driver for a while now so I knew I'd be happy. The service I got from Shubham and Devin in sales was excellent. Their back up crew in finance and insurance were on it too. And then the preparation/instruction of the vehicle from Andy was perfect. Our leasing company encouraged me to use their relationship at another dealership but I wanted to stay with Clarkdale. Happy with the sales and the service there. Dominic (I don't have a google account so using my Son's!)
Owned an off-the-lot car. Made the mistake of not asking where it was made. It was made in Brazil. The car ended up in the shop on average once a month. Sold the thing at a loss. Never again. Japanese is the way to go. They continue to have honour in what they do. And it makes a difference.
Fantastic service! The people there really seemed to know their stuff and actually liked cars! Jackie, the person helping me, was friendly and honest. He really seemed to want to get my problem fixed the right way and in a timely fashion. After dealing with other dealership horror stories(I'm looking at you Richmond Suburu) I'm actually looking forward to continuing to support this business and the people working there!
Very professional to speak with and it's great to have the shuttle service, but the cost to do anything is astronomically higher than anywhere else. I was also recommended to do about $600 worth of work that two other mechanics that I visited said was not only unnecessary, but actually fixing something that was working great.
Purchased this 2014 TDI beetle from Clarkdale. Totally recommend clarkdale for your VW needs, the sales Dept was very easy to deal with and never felt pressured. Even the owner came out to say hello and chat. We really felt good about our purchase and the salesman followed up with a call 3 days later to see if we were still happy. Our other TDI is a 2001 and still going with over 380,000 klm! Great value!

Blown away by the service at Clarkdale. In particular, Michael Brand was absolutely amazing. I just had my first two warranty claims with my car (I've owned it for over 4 years) - my rear defrost wasn't working and I had a parasitic drain on my battery. I had originally approached another Volkswagen dealership with my first concern, my rear defrost, and was made to feel like my concerns with my car weren't genuine: "are you sure the rear defrost isn't working? Because it could be...." and they were unable to provide an appointment for a weekend (or even an alternative) since I work during the week and require my car for work. I tried Clarkdale and immediately was taken seriously and booked in for an appointment on a Saturday. After one meeting with Michael, he recognized me and called me by name as soon as I set foot in the dealership for follow up visits. He has worked with me over the past couple weeks and they were able to get me a new rear defrost and then dealt with my newer issue of identifying the cause of the parasitic drain. Michael listened to me and my concerns and made sure I was updated every step of the way. I have never felt so valued as a customer at a dealership before and I want to extend my sincere thanks and appreciation for the courtesy and professionalism from both Michael and the dealership in general. If you own a Volkswagen, Clarkdale is the place to be - best service out there. Thanks Clarkdale!
Excellent customer service. I brought my car in for service today. Very friendly staff greeted me at the door and the service staff Kyle is very helpful. They are renovating offices for customers to use during wait time. I was able to do some work in the small office. Overall a very good experience this time.
Clarkdale is the best dealership I have ever dealt with. From the moment I walked into the dealership in bike clothing ( not looking like a prospect) to the moment I drove off with my car I was treated exceptionally well by friendly efficient and helpful people.
The car I wanted a manual shift late model golf with a sunroof.
The salesman Jordan Hicks told me the car I wanted was as rare as a unicorn. But he did not pressure me into something I did not want. Nor did he write me off. Instead he kept his eyes open and found me the car I wanted and was willing to go to bat to negotiate a price within my budget.
The rest of the staff are also very helpful and efficient from people that sold me my snow tires to the service department, The guy who showed me how to work the car for a drive off and the back office people that processed the transaction.
I understand the dealership is family owned and The approach taken by all the staff shows a culture of good customer service.
Moving to Vancouver, clutched in my hand is a long list of things to do in a relatively short period of time. Near the top of the list - "Buy a car". I began at the 'Auto Mall' in Richmond where I assumed I would be able to find at least one or two vehicles that would work for me and someone who would take an interest in selling me a car. I left disappointed and made my way back across the bridge to Clarkdale. What a difference! Sure, the dealership doesn't cover acres of land with thousands of cars but that was not what I require. I was looking for a small, reliable car at a good price and, most importantly, a dealership that would get to know me, was easily accessible for service visits, and where I would feel comfortable asking questions. I found all these things at Clarkdale. From Kong who wanted to sell a car (surprising that not all car salespeople are not equipped to do this), to Madilyn and Chris in financing who helped me understand my options, ending with Patrick who patiently unpacked the car options with me, I knew I bought my new car from the right people. Having Andy from Rand and Fowler insurance onsite meant that Clarkdale was a one-stop shop for me. I have only had the car for 24 hours so I unable to review the service department; however, based upon first impressions of the dealership, I have every faith that I will be well cared by that team as well. Thank you, Clarkdale, for easing my move to Vancouver. "Buy a car" - check!

The staff were knowledgeable, supportive, understanding and professional. Recently I bought a new VW. Andrei Jelescu demonstrated the new car, showing expert knowledge both of it and other VW models. Chris Field, at trade-in time, made me a most generous offer. I had checked the Black Book before going to Clarkdale and was delighted to receive an offer above the top listed price. Cindy Stone and Christina Duncan handled the actual purchase of the VW. As I anticipated, they made me special offers from VW for special care and protection of my new VW. I was entirely free to accept or refuse these offers. VW goes out of its way to provide excellent care for its new vehicles. When it was time to pick up the new car, Carly Broetz showed me every feature of the new VW. She patiently answered my questions and demonstrated a thorough knowledge of the vehicle. All in all, my purchasing experience was wonderful!

This is my 4th VW and my 2nd from Clarkdale. From Adam in leasing who 'sold' me my new 2015 Golf 7 TSi, to Christina in the office who 'made it happen' to Carly in after-service care who 'made it all make sense', the Clarkdale experience was seamless, painless, and very enjoyable. My last VW, a 2011 Jetta TDi was only serviced at Clarkdale, and my new Golf will have the same treatment. Madilyn in service is terrific. I went to check price and inventory to replace my 2009 Tiguan with a new 2014 Tiguan (same colour - love silver cars) and found the model I wanted, at a price that was better than I'd expected so I bought on the spot. They hustled to get the car ready, including the trailer hitch and a couple hours later I was driving away. Everyone there was so positive and friendly. I have the impression that they know their jobs well, and really want to wow the customer. Mike Hahn was a great sales guy and Carly Broetz made driving it away easy and actually fun.
