I actually really dislike most sales interactions, especially when buying a car. The salespeople always feel very self-serving, focused only on selling you on every single feature of what they have to offer hoping something resonates. Very little attention is paid to the buyers needs. I should mention I am a salesperson myself so I probably recognize the selling tactics more than the average person but Volvo of Vancouver was definitely different. I could tell Anna and Lloyd cared about my needs and made sure I was more than happy with my purchase. Most car purchases I've made I felt like everything was so drawn out and quite frankly time wasting but the entire process was very efficient. There also were no surprises with the pricing and I did a lot of research.
Prices were the best at V of V. I highly recommend this dealership. Thank you! I love my Volvo. It is the most unique vehicle I've ever driven.

We purchased our 2020 XC40 from here. We built in in December of last year and picked it up in May. Our sales representative, Gill, was very helpful in facilitating the transaction all the way through to delivery. I was arriving from Ontario and given a loaner a week before my car was set to be delivered so that I would have a vehicle. That is the type of service that you call "above and beyond". Similar to world class vehicles, purchasing a Volvo from Volvo of Vancouver comes with world class service.

I had a horrible experience buying the car from Volvo Vancouver. I bought a Volvo Certified 2019 S60, with about 3500 km. When I got it home, the sun roof did not work. The voice activation did not work. The back seat vent and baby-clip were missing parts. There was scuffing on the diffuser. There was 100k unaccounted for. There were scratches not there when inspected. The sales rep, Thomas Crozier, picked up my car to take it to be fixed at Volvo. He told me he was not being paid to pick up my vehicle and that it was his day off. When I tried to speak with Sandro, the Manager of Sales about perhaps some free maintenance for my trouble, he was rude right out of the gate. He accused me of breaking the vent myself and was rude in tone on the phone. He told me he would not consider any compensation for my troubles, even though the certified Volvo was clearly not inspected as guaranteed by Volvo. He told me that I was the problem and that his staff had complained to him. He told me to bring the car back if I didn't want it. It was a bizarre discussion and very unprofessional on his part. The only person I had spoken to at the dealership was Thomas Crozier the sales rep. I can safely say I have never had a worse experience with a large purchase in my life. Not anything like the old Docksteader. My advice? Go to another Volvo dealer. They do not put the customer first. Trying to get a certified Volvo that was actually in good working order was like pulling teeth. I know my conduct was professional and courteous. I am shocked by my experience. BEWARE, they seem not to stand behind their customers. I am currently looking to complain to Volvo / Dalwiri Canada about this experience. I don't ever write bad reviews or go "above somebody's head" but definitely will this time.

Their entire team was fantastic and we ended up getting a great deal on a lease. It is obvious that their amazing service starts at the top - with their General Manager Sandro Mati setting a high standard for personalized service to customers. This is our second vehicle from Vancouver Volvo and this was an even better experience than the first time.

We have dealt with a few different dealerships now and have generally had the fortune of dealing with managers at some level. However, there has never been an experience in my 25 years of getting cars, that had been equal to our experience with the Dilwari group and Vancouver Volvo.

Sandro Mati, the General Manager of Volvo of Vancouver likes to handle miscommunication between his employees and his customers by being rude, immature and falsely accusing his them of wrong doing. After twice having work done on my vehicle which was not needed, nor requested, I received a rather unpleasant phone call from Mr. Sandro accusing me of asking for work and then not paying it. This is not the case and can easily be proven by a paper trail of email correspondence which backs up the fact that I did not ask for the work he claims I did. Unsurprisingly Mr. Sandro had no interest in seeing said correspondence when I offered to send it to him as a way of reminding him of what was actually said. The management team here would benefit in a Customer Relations 101 crash course. Do yourself a favour and take your vehicle else where. Vancouver Volvo doesn't deserve your hard earned dollar.

The gentleman helping us, named Luke, has really gone above and beyond the call of duty by helping us to repair the key rather than replace at a considerable cost. He was so kind and helpful even though he had other things to do. I have never experienced this kind of customer service... Went in for an emergency service a few weeks ago.

I knew exactly what I needed. A simple alignment due to the tie rod that had come loose and started to cause the front tire to toe out. Which then in turn threw off the differential, which in turn caused the “check anti-skid” light to come on.

The dealership calls me saying that I need a clock spring in the steering wheel and they don’t recommend an alignment until the clock spring is fixed.

They wanted to charge me $1000 for the spring.

I told them multiple times “No, fix what I am telling you to fix”

The serviceman was reluctant to agree.

I also had asked for a full diagnostic scan with a print out.

After a few hours later the tech calls me and said the alignment is done and the car is working fine.

I pick up my car, pay for the work that has been done.

There was no diagnostic printout from the VIDA/DICE scanner that I asked for.

No less than a week later, my wagon breaks down dead. I had to replace the boost pressure sensor and buy a brand new battery.

Thanks Volvo for trying to blatantly weasel this deal.

I can only imagine how many unsuspecting people you rip off .

After being approached by Volvo of Vancouver to install tires and a promise in their advertising that this is a sale and lowest price guaranteed - this is the furthest from the truth. I found out that the exact same winter tires that the competitors are $400 cheaper.

Horrible service. Did a 15,000 mile maintenance on my car and a week after the engine service light went on. Also checked my tire pressure on each tire and all were low. They claimed they filled each tire to 42psi. Called service department to follow up on my engine light issue and was put on 15 minute hold. Called back and the receptionist had a bad attitude and said they were inudated with calls. I asked if she could call me back when not busy and she took my number and basically hung up on me. I didn't buy my car from this Volvo and now I remember why.

I ended up at this dealership, even though it’s not the closest one to my house, because the Surrey one let me down even though I had been making plans with them for two weeks. But I’m lucky Surrey was useless because it meant that Louis Redmond could step in and save the day! It was luck that they happened to have the exact car I wanted, in the exact colour scheme and correct packages, but it was Louis that made the whole process better than any other time I’ve bought a car. He is not only the best car salesperson I’ve ever dealt with, but the best salesperson I’ve ever dealt with in general. He was extremely accommodating, nice, and most importantly genuine. This is the first time I haven’t left a car dealership feeling like I’ve been fighting with the salesperson to get what I want. From the moment we spoke with them on the phone to driving a brand new car off of their lot, we were given exceptional and amazing service. It was only a few weeks ago that I was speaking with Laura, one of the newest sales members at Volvo Vancouver. She provided us with plenty of options and equipped us with valuable knowledge on all Volvo cars. I felt confident in their sales efforts.

Finally when we were ready to sign we connected with Josh in the financial services side. Once again we were given great options to pave the way. We felt secure and protected by the optional enhanced packages which we later accepted.

Within a week of driving our new car, we encountered a situation on the road which damaged the car. It was minor, and because I had the increased protection from Volvo.. I went back to the dealership and the damage was fixed right away. Isn’t that great, thank you Volvo of Vancouver!

We bought our first Volvo here. We flew in to Vancouver just for the vehicle. It was a stressful day, but our sales agent (Victor Lin) was extremely helpful and answered all of our questions (via email, by phone or text messages). He was prompt, easy going, informative and professional. He even bought us lunch. He did his best to make the day and the travel easy for us. There was a slight problem with a door handle, but we were driving the car home anyways and due to the fact we do not live in Vancouver, he contacted another Volvo dealership and they were happy to resolve the issue at Vancouver dealership's cost. Jordan Schornagel was helping us in the finance department. He was professional and very patient with us, especially with my never-ending questions about extended warranty, insurance and anything I wasn't sure about or didn't understand.

I recently visited your location on October 31st and was quite disappointed with the miscommunication and false information I received from your website. The weekend before the 31st, I went online to book a maintenance check to my 2001 Volvo S60 and was thoroughly impressed by how simple it was to navigate and book so quickly. After completing the booking, I even received a notification message to confirm my appointment for Monday October 31st at 07:30.

When I showed up to your Cambie location I was very disappointed to find out I wasn’t even in the system, and that you do not take booking less than ten days in advance. I planned my time to commute and changed my work schedule around the confirmation notification I received just prior. As I was helped by a kind lady at the front, she apologized and offered to reschedule me to this Thursday November 10th. I am not one to argue, especially knowing that this was not her mistake.

I am writing this letter to inform you and bring awareness to the miscommunication your team is giving on your website as well as share my disappointment with what occurred. Again, this is not an issue with the staff, but the website. I may not be the only one who’s time was wasted due to this issue. Not only this, but a customer was lost for this maintenance. I ended up going somewhere else for my $1140 service. I do not know when my next service will be for my vehicle, but I would love to still consider my local Volvo dealer and service shop. I hope we can work something out, and start from scratch in terms of my expectations of such a great world-wide brand.

Told me over the phone that my American bought Volvo would be covered under warranty for regularly scheduled free maintenance as it was a "North American-wide" coverage program and to bring the volvo down in the morning. They then decided that very next morning, that we should pay 300 odd dollars for the privilege as they only cover for damages under warranty. Of course when I challenged them on this I received the perfunctory "he said she said" trick after I accused them of wasting my working day morning. Neither any responsibility taken nor apology given. Not the first dealership to pull this type of last second bait and switch nonsense but I'd try another dealership for a service in future.

nice guys but someone has to fix how calls are processed. it took 3 phone calls and rerouted from reception to services to parts who then put me on hold just to know until what time I can pick up the tires. One department closes at 5, another at 6, another at 7, it couldn't be clearer. Of course if you call one department who transfer you to another department, they might roll the tires over to another department who can hold them until later.
