Bought a used car at this dealership in March 2021 the salesman informed me that I had a warranty until December 2021 after booking my appointment with the service department the advisor informed me that my warranty finished in December 2020. After countless hours over week and going back and fourth with the salesman. Making sure there was a warranty MULTIPLE TIMES and that the car was up to code. I decided to purchase the vechicle so you can understand my frustration and how I feel CHEATED. Once i got ahold of the sales manager he was rude and condensing. To his knowledge I was told this. I was sent a warranty document that I did NOT have in my folder from when I bought it. I feel lied too, just to make a sale. The manager didn’t care to help the situation at all. Awful customer service! I had to give it a 1* because I had no choice. On another note the guys that work in the service department are all very nice! Including the service department manager that took the time to sit down with me and see what we could do about the situation even offered to do a test drive on my car with me. I know the manager will try and write back on this and explain some story to how I’m wrong but coming from someone that works in customer service I think the way I was spoken too was awful.. he could have handled the situation A LOT better! Anyways go someplace else to buy a car … save yourself a headache.

They used the wrong cleaning product on the interior. It left a smudgy white residue all over the shiny surfaces on the drivers side (center console, steering wheel, door handle...etc). I made 3 attempts to contact them in writing to give them feedback (2 separate online forms and an email). Never heard back from them. They're great at taking your money and upselling, but don't expect to hear back from them if you have a problem.

I have been going to this dealership regularly for maintenance since 2015. Never had a problem. I leased my first car there. I recently went in to get my winter tires put on. Much to my surprise, the service agent found my work order and asked if I was there for an oil change. I stated it was just for a tire change and asked to check my brakes as they were squeaking. The service agent responded "No problem we do a 30 point inspection." I signed the work order assuming the service agent would cross off the oil change (as Campbell & Cameron have done in the past when the work order was incorrect ), which I found out he did not when I received a bill that included the oil change. I checked my records and found that they had done an oil change in May 2020 at the time of my 15K maintenance (done at 11,500 KM.) Because of the pandemic, I only put 4,000 KM's on my Golf since that last oil change. So I contacted the Service Manager, who said since I signed the work order they could not refund me. Instead he offered me a 10% discount on future visits until it made up the $145 for the oil change. While I appreciated the gesture, a 10% discount every 6 months doesn't help much with finances being tight due to the pandemic. Campbell & Cameron have lost a loyal customer. For those who continue to frequent Campbell & Cameron, don't make the same mistake I did and assume they will fix the word order. Insist that they reprint it before signing and leaving your keys.

Absolutely terrible! Dishonest and don’t honour their work! A 2 year warranty on an engine MEANS 2 YEARS.. not 3 months later it breaks and they do not honour the warranty or guarantee their work. BUYER BEWARE if something goes wrong you’re on your own and potentially out of pocket for THOUSANDS!! They Refuse to accept any responsibility, unwilling to work with customer to fix the problem. Shameful business practices! There are far better options available, do your research and avoid these crooks!

I went in for a simple oil change. Amidst the pandemic, I was a little concerned but figured that safety comes first for the staff and their clients so they must have measures in place. When I got my car back, the plastic covering on my seat wasn't removed. This made me really uncomfortable as it should have been removed before it was brought back into the lot. No one really seemed to care about it when I went back to ask why it was still there... I was called a few days later for a telephone survey and when I mentioned it to the rep I spoke to, she only agreed to update me when I asked to know what happened. Shortly after, she called me back and advised it was an oversight. Mistakes happen, but the experience left me questioning whether or not my business was even valued. Hope it was a learning experience and that it didn't continue.

Coming to this dealership with my friend today to test drive. My friend is willing to buy a golf. But he doesn’t know which version he want(R or Gti). He prepared money already and just want to test drive and made his final decision. We went to the dealership and ask can we book a test drive. They told us with very bad attitude: ‘this car is 50k, it is expensive, the future owner doesn’t want the mileages too high.’ And they declined our request. Omg that was ridiculous, I own a Porsche(100k) and BMW 750i(150k). They all can be test drive when I ask the dealership, the golf is too expensive for test drive. Definitely not recommend this place.

I had to harass them to get any information about the car but once my credit was checked, oh boy I was the one being harassed ... It's funny because after my credit was checked and we spoke for the second about the amount of money they were giving me for my vehicule. I was getting 500$ less than what they told me in the first place, and when I told them about the 500$ difference I was politely called a liar and so I decided to buy a car somewhere else because the service I received was not worth the time wasted .... I have MANY issues with my 2017 Golf and I’m extremely disappointed on how the owner of Volkswagen Campbell and Cameron is handling the situation. Back in December, my sales representative offered to break the lease and give me a new car because I was experiencing many issues with my car (leaking sun roof, broken light dial(due to rust caused by water infiltration), broken gas tank, defective keys, problems with car starter, gas pipelines issues and more). After acknowledging that the car was a lemon, my sales representative advised me that I could get out of my lease and get a new, reliable, safe car with them. This offer was made to me back in December, I was advised to come back to the dealer in the spring for the new car, no mention of a penalty fee. I returned a few weeks ago and I was told that I would have to pay over $6000 to get out of my lease. Today I went to the dealer and asked the owner for a written confirmation of the amount they are asking me to pay ($6111) to break my lease and get a new car with them. I was given the letter as requested but the owner didn’t bother going over the details with me so I went to see the sales director for clarification, he was extremely rude and uncooperative. Needless to say the customer service is horrible but more importantly this is my 3rd car with Volkswagen and never have I experienced such poor quality and reliability in a car.

Friend bought a car here in October. Sales rep seemed nice at the time but turns out he was very misleading and falsifying information. When the time came to get some maintenance done, it took a month to just get to the final answer of the orIginal question. Sales rep was extremely rude after the fact, service department would not return calls or hung up multiple times and the owner of all people was very condescending and basically calling her stupid. Truth is owner did not listen to anything we had to say and is perfectly okay with his sales reps misleading the client when asking very specific questions but somehow we are the idiots because of what HIS salesmen claimed. I would never recommend this dealership to anybody even if it was just for service because they can’t even manage to do that properly. Much better Volkswagen dealerships out there. Huge mistake, Campbell and Cameron provided the worst experience I’ve seen.

Love the car golf 2018, however I needed something small fixed which was my own fault but the sales rep told me when buying the car the 4 year warranty covers EVERYTHING bumper to bumper, I gave him a couple ridiculous examples and he said yes to all, I was so impressed. Turned out when I called to get this fixed what he'd told me was not to be valid. I spoke with the owner of this dealership, he wasn't very nice to me and threw a lot of back handed comments to me, after i spent 30,000$ on a brand new car, implied I'm a liar, telling me I'm making up what the sales rep said to me while buying the car even though he was not present for the conversation and I have multiple witnesses who came with me who can confirm the conversation. If they're so honest why'd they quote me 820$ for a fix verbally, yet when i called to make the appointment it turned into almost 1100$ and refused to do it for the original quote? They did offer me 10% discount on that price which was nice, however I just wanted the original price (especially since I've only had the car for a couple months) and a little bit of remorse for what I'd been put through they wouldn't even call me back. I felt very helpless.

I've been thinking about changing my car, and had read good reviews about Campbell & Cameron. So I went there to find out more about the VW Golf, and had the pleasure of meeting with Igor Gherciu. He was extremely personable and took his time to explain everything about the car. He knew his product, but didn't hesitate to ask a colleague if he didn't have the answer to a specific question.

We also went for a test drive, on the streets and highway, with Igor being patient and explaining things as we went along.

I'm still in the deciding stage, but would go back to see Igor at Campbell & Cameron at a later date.

I guess if you purchase a new car there you are part of the family, but if you bring in a used truck for a scheduled appointment at 7 45 am and receive a phone call at 4 45 that afternoon only to be told that a part needs welding "that we don't do, you can come pick up your truck with no wipers now working take it some where have the part welded and bring it back for the new linage to be installed.'" What a joke .....will never return to this dealership

I've been a client at Campbell & Cameron VW for over 10 years now, and I wanted to review the store because I just leased a new 2014 Tiguan, and traded in my 2010 Tiguan 4 months before the old lease expired. I wasn't planning on changing until the lease expired, but a really pleasant salesman, Julien, called me one day and told me that I could get in a brand new Tiguan, right now, and it would cost less than my old one!!
Needless to say, I thought it was some sort of dealer trick. But when I went down and met the salesman in person and he showed me the Tiguan and the numbers, it was a better car (more stuff) and for less each month! And, my old winter tires even fit the new one!
Great service, great sales and service guys, and I would recommend them in a heartbeat to anyone looking for a VW.
