BEWARE - I recently brought my VW to have my washer fluid leakage repaired. After looking at the problem, their technician determined the pump was leaking and needed to be replaced. The cost for the pump was about CAD 68.00 + labor, but they could not tell how much labor it would take to replace it. The initial diagnostic was completed in about 20 min, ad the pump was replaced just short of 1 hour.
I GOT BILLED 2.5H labor for a 1.5 hour job. Their reasoning was that the diagnostic technician they hire is paid 1.5 H per diagnostic, which is based on industry standards; so they said.
My total bill came up to $400 including taxes, while parts make up only $ 68.

Recently contacted Easthill regarding a pre-owned vehicle. Was greeted by Danielle who provided information on the vehicle interested in. Was asked and then arranged for a test drive. At arrival at the dealership, she had the vehicle out front ready to go, plus being a hot day, had the windows down to reduce the hot interior. Took the vehicle for a test drive. Upon arrival back at dealership, Danielle asked about my experience and since had interest in purchasing, introduced to Jeff Parsons sales manager. He, like Danielle ,was very helpful, pleasant and professional. I was extremely pleased with the whole experience at Easthill. I would strongly recommend this dealership when seeking a vehicle.

I don’t usually write reviews or letters of commendation etc, but I had a great experience at Easthill Volkswagen worthy of sharing.
My sales person, Jeff Parsons, was friendly and knowledgable... quick to answer any of my questions and very patient with me.
He help find financing for me and I asked him if he could add summer tires and rims. (an extra set worth $2000)
Jeff went the extra mile in helping me with this.
Easthill Volkswagen went above and beyond my expectations and installed the new tires and rims with brand new brakes all around.
My car looks smokin’ and I love it.
I could not say enough positive things about my experience there.
I would highly recommend checking them out if you are looking for a new or used car.
I will be a returning customer some day...

They are just a small family run dealership, so I don’t imagine they have a lot of time to watch out the windows for people who happen to drive onto the lot.
I am positive though, that if you went inside or called ahead like I did, you would get the same superior service and attention to detail.

I ordered a paint stick for my 2017 Golf on April 5th and left the service advisor with my contact information with whom the order was placed. Today April 26th, after receiving no phone calls I was in the Walkerton area and decided to drop in. My item was not there and the same service advisor had no recollection or information of said item. Few hours later at home I received a call from the Parts/Service Manager to reorder the paint stick again, during our conversation I asked him to send me the item as I was not willing to travel 90km round trip because of their mistake. I was willing to pay for the item and asked the dealership to pay for shipping to my house to which I was told No. Lessons learned, find a new dealership. Robert

I have stopped at this dealership several times. I have been interested in some of their used vehicles. I am still to find out if anyone works here. Last time there I spent 15 mins looking at their cars and no one approached me at all. I worked in cars sales and to me this is unacceptable. The dealership looks nice and they usually have good stock. It would be nice is their sales people cared enough to talk to the potential customers.

I’ve put off writing this review for a long time in the hopes that this place will start providing better service. Unfortunately over a year later, the service from these guys is still inadequate.

Above all, it’s almost impossible to get a hold of the service desk. Either they’re always away from the desk, or simply never returning my calls. One time last year I called to order a part, and had to leave a message as he was away from his desk. Never heard back, had to call the NEXT DAY to leave ANOTHER MESSAGE for him to call me back. If I remember correctly, I called yet again later that day and finally got him on the phone.

Last week, I called to order a part. Luckily, he called me back in just a few hours. He asked whether or not I wanted to order the supersessor part instead of the original. After checking and calling him back, I made sure to confirm with him that I wanted the supersessor part. He said it was ordered and that it would arrive the next day. The next day when I called, no answer at the service desk. I called again an hour later, and the secretary was told to inform me that my past was not in yet. This was very inconvenient for me as I needed my car to be fixed so that I can open my driver door for work. So my part came in on Friday instead (the secretary had handled my call yet again), so I sent my fiancé to pick it up. Unfortunately when I got home and saw the part, I noticed the guy ordered the original part, not the supersessor. At that point they were closed, and not opening till Monday. Yesterday (Monday), I tried to get in touch with the service desk to find out why the part I wanted was not ordered. The secretary said that the service desk was currently busy and that she’ll take a message. That was about 10AM yesterday morning and I still haven’t heard back from them. Honestly, I don’t even expect them to - it’s clear that they have no idea what good customer service is. I can handle his poor attitude, but I won't tolerate being ignored.

Too bad there wasn’t another VW dealership close by - I will be avoiding this one from now on. The only reason this place gets a second star is because I always get my part in the end. Unfortunately it’s like pulling teeth to do so.

We had a terrible experience with Walkerton Volkswagen. After repeated attempts to have the many issues with our vehicle (purchased from Walkerton Volkswagen) fixed, we finally took it elsewhere and had the vehicle fixed properly. Customer service was nonexistent after we drove off the lot with the vehicle and they made us feel as if our vehicle issues and our business was not at all important to them. We will never purchase anything from there or have any vehicle serviced there again.

Check out a used Tiguan, sales lady had no clue about their vehicles. She did say there were no accidents. Except underneath the back seats was a piece of paperwork saying the vehicle had been in an accident. My wife after the test drive asked the sales lady why she wasn’t honest. She replied that she didn’t have to notify us being the accident was under $2000. I know it was much but it was the principal and we bought somewhere else.

I didn’t buy a car from Steve. I bought happiness and peace of mind. When I asked him to let me know if he had a Jeep, I didn’t think it would happen because afterall it’s a VW dealership and also I wasn’t sure if the financing would be approved in these uncertain times. Steve did all the legwork to get me pre-approved then directed me to a website of one of their sister dealerships to pick out a Jeep in my price range. It was completely seamless. Getting groceries is more difficult than buying this Jeep was. I am so happy to be back in a Jeep. Thank you to Steve and the staff at Easthill for helping me buy my happiness. It’s a Jeep thing, you wouldn’t understand. 😉

I took my new vehicle for its first service a few weeks ago. Along with the service I asked them to have a look at the other two indicator lights on: engine light and tire pressure light.
The following day my vehicle was ready, diagnosis: nothing wrong with both the engine and the tire. Off I went with a clean bill of health for my vehicle. The following day the engine light came back on. I booked another service call. Four days later (including the weekend) my vehicle was ready. Turns out they swapped the wrong fuel injector the first time! Two things concerns me here: 1) they changed injector 3 when they should changed injector 4. 2) I was not told they changed injector 3 during the first service.
Off I go with my vehicle. On my way home the tire pressure indicator comes back on! I book another appointment. Turns out they missed a nail that was in it. Next day they told me they filled the hole and the tire is ready for the road. Off I go again. The following morning on my way to work the tire pressure indicator comes back on!!
I called and spoke to the service manager and he tells me (you're not going to believe this) he tells me to take the tire some place else!!!

4 service calls in 2 weeks + 8 hours on the road + terrible service manager = unhappy Volkswagen customer.

If I could give Easthill VW 6 stars out of 5 I would. Both my wife and I were extremely impressed with the level of service we received during our recent car purchase. Patrick was extremely helpful in guiding us through the different options available. Lori kept our 3 and 4-year-old occupied AND HAPPY for almost 2 hours while we looked at different options and talked numbers with Dustin. Dustin was great from start to finish and worked the numbers to get us into a roomier, better optioned vehicle that fit our budget. I bought an as is mini van, I ask the owner son about getting it safety , he came back with a price $1800.i ask for what he told me nuts and bolts here and there , and the steering wheel hose needed to be replace , and was told it was approx a 5 hr labour
I text my partner who works with machinery and a family member who is also a mechanic and was told by both of them get my money and run !!
Then they wanted to charge me for a pre safety
I took my can to Elmwood garage that is own by Elam it took him 30 mins to fix the hose not 5 hours
Cost me $240. To fix it for my safety not $1800.
This place discuss me how they take advantage of people !!!

I am baffled and deeply disappointed as to why this dealership does not take safety seriously. That's twice now. In December 2015, I purchased a certified used Jetta. When I had my local mechanic re-install a tow hitch from the old car, he found that the car failed safety. The hoist crushed the rocker panels in a couple of spots as it lifted the car and many repairs were needed - bad brakes, shocks that needed replacing urgently ... but I had spent my every last cent on purchasing it. I drove the car, swaying to and fro to Ottawa for Christmas, on the 401 and my uncle, horrified when he drove it, paid for the repair ($800) - all before the 30 days were up on the safety certificate.
I had visited the dealership a couple of days after the purchase to address the issues, but was dismissed within 20 minutes - denying my observations and those of my mechanic.
Be wary she-wolf dressed in lamb's clothing. I used to be a wiser shepherd (for real), but got shredded by this one who takes down the creature that displays any sign of weakness. In an extremely vulnerable situation, she got me good.
In 2012, I went in for a rear indicator light that was out; I was going through Chicago the next day. I needed a part that they did not have, but instead, they returned the car having not reassembled the lights and with an additional bulb missing. I had to ask for the bulb back and reassemble it myself.
