After a year of humming and hawing about trading my truck in I finally decided to go to Vernon VW. Still completely in love with my truck and still not 100% ready to give her up, I figured I'd look around at a few cars and leave defeated in my truck.... met Fred my sales guy in the used lot and he got me to park over by the new cars lol as soon as I stepped out of my truck my eyes instantly went to a tornado red GLI and my heart started racing! I knew this was the car for me! Fred was by far the best sales guy I have ever had the pleasure of dealing with. He was very knowledgeable and very relaxed, at no point did I feel pressured into anything. I told him I loved the GLI and he showed me a few other options just in case and then sent me off to the amazing Dionne!! I told her to work her magic and do whatever it took to get me into that beautiful piece of machinery and boy did she ever!! She fought for a lower interest rate for me, extended my warrantee and I even got my winters on alloys thrown into the deal as well!!! I dont care what it is your looking for, everyone needs to go see Fred and Dionne and get hooked up!! These 2 are amazing people! My next car in the distant future will also be a VW from them!!

Be very careful about asking a dealership for car repairs... There main policy is not to find and fix the problem.. they list all the new parts installation price weather you actually need them or not... They charge like raging bull....
I didn't think I'd ever say this about a car dealership, but we loved the experience of purchasing a vehicle in Vernon VW. No nonsenses. No handwritten numbers or "I'll speak to the manager" circus, or sneaky upsells. Certainly the most open and transparent automotive transaction I had in years, with much more flexibility than I expected. Thank you Fred and Dionne.

My experience with Vernon VW started out well, but the wheels sure fell off in a spectacular fashion. This is my 5th Volkswagen, I am a huge fan of the brand. I’m very active in the Okanagan and area car communities, but I will be sure to advise people to steer clear of this dealer. The buying process was easy enough, efficient but didn’t stand out as anything special but that’s where the positivity ended.
The evening I took delivery of my Jetta and made my way back to Kelowna, I noticed that the car sold to me as “fresh thru the shop and inspected” had both low beam headlights burnt out. Unfortunately, I’d left already and stopped for a bite to eat so the dealership was closed. I spent a rainy October evening driving from Vernon to Kelowna either high beaming all oncoming traffic or driving in the dark completely. Arrangements were offered to get this fixed, but due to my timeline for a trip, I decided to replace them myself and negotiate an oil change for my Jetta instead.
I was rear ended, and ICBC wrote off my car, just 45 days after my purchase. ICBC informed me that there was a lien on the vehicle, from the previous owner. 6+ months before I purchased it. I reached out to Angela, and Dionne hoping to get this resolved ASAP, but more efforts were put into selling me another vehicle than resolving a glaring sales issue with the first one. Many of my e-mails were left unanswered, including to the dealer manager when I wasn’t hearing from anybody else. I was left hanging and the entire situation was incredibly frustrating.
I have to give a big shout out to the entire team at Volkswagen and the Used Car Superstore here in Vernon. Their team went above and beyond for me which over all my years in Vernon has been the BEST customer service experience I've had with a dealership thus far. From Dionne, to Angela and Jessie in service Dept, their attention and priority to my issue was immediate. They problem solved for me, kept me updated on the status of my vehicle issue and always had my back for the costs associated with the repair. Going above their responsibilities as my vehicle is not a Volkswagen, they helped me worn transportation so I was never stuck. Jessie kept me updated regularly so I was never left wondering how long the repair time would be. For once I felt like my best interest was the most important detail for them, making sure my vehicle was fixed and safe for me and my daughter without costing me a fortune.
I highly recommend that you stop in and allow them an opportunity to earn your business as my experience with them has topped all of the other dealerships that I have dealt with in the past and I've been to three others over the years. Angela and her team are by far the most engaged and dedicated to great customer service.

So we were in a sticky situation and there were a lot of caveats to what we wanted and somehow Dionne and Angela made it all happen. My girlfriend and I are incredibly happy with the service we received and all the help we were provided. The staff were knowledgeable and very friendly, everything was straightforward and well laid out and we weren't hit with any surprise fees or strange dealers fees that some places try to throw on you. Angela was super pleasant and helped us pick out the perfect vehicle, and Dionne worked some magic and made it possibly for us to get the vehicle we needed. The Vernon VW used lot was really well stocked and they had a large selection of vehicles of different makes and varying price ranges which made it all the easier to get the vehicle we needed. We were in and out relatively quickly too considering all the wrinkles that needed to be ironed out. I'm happy to say we have no regrets on our purchase and can confidently recommend going here to anyone else that's looking to purchase a new vehicle.

Had no choice but to go to this dealership for proximity reasons...never got good service from them. The manager was extremely arrogant, patronizing, and horrible to deal with. I went there a hand full of times to get a serious fuel system problem looked at and they band-aided the problem and never completely fixed it. I moved from the area and am now living back in the lower mainland dealing with the same problems I had before. One time the left the drain plug under my engine off and I drove home with no oil in my engine....if that tells you anything!

I understand that this might be a little hard to understand what these guys are like. I'm not sure whether it's good or bad but I'll say that since I'm a backyard cheapo mechanic guy I wanted everything diagnosed and not fixed so I asked them for help in diagnosing my problems. So far I'm not certain they got it totally correct on my turbo issue that I'm having. The mechanic didn't give me any time or at least it wasn't enough to my satisfaction on my second visit there. They worked til lunch and then finished my car with no info cause they had to go to eat. So see ya later is what i got. The front desk lady Lynda was very nice. Cecelta was not so nice. And the mechanic, I'm not sure if he liked talking to the customers but he didn't seem interested in me so I figure that overall it was poor service.
Second story is that I was trying to see if my car would trade in there and I guess the mechanic just passed my car off without really telling me why it wasn't worth trading in? Was never informed about what the problems were and I thought everything would have been fine if I got the check engine light fixed yet I'm not sure if they knew something and they aren't telling me cause they didn't tell me exactly why they weren't interested in my car. The story about the Jim guy with Financing seemed to be correct. He had no interest in me as well when I attempted to ask him about financing. As soon as he found out I wasn't working and on EI he ushered me out the door without even giving me a chance to ask any questions. The guys Jake and Tim seemed very nice in the front selling and trading. And so did Lynda at the service desk although I did feel there was a struggle there with money and how the dealership is trying to get money out of you. My mechanic was Ken a young guy.
The are not there to help you. They claim that they make "no money" on the cars when they sell them. My main problem was their finance guy "Jim". He tells people that they are approved and then turns around and says "oh nevermind, I need everything short of a blood and hair sample to sent to Volkswagen". He doesn't call back. He doesn't tell you when you need to send him more information. Instead he waits for YOU to call HIM and then whines about his weekend in Vegas. If you tell one person one thing they DO NOT pass it on, then act like it's a surprise. If you make anything less than 200,000 a year don't even try to buy a vehicle from these guys. They are horrible.
