Before writing this review we have thought about it a couple of times making sure our emotions are settled so we could give an honest review.
My husband and I went to Travis to buy a used corolla which is roughly about 18,700 (cad). He was very patient with us. So we picked a car and we were asked to deposit 500 to hold the car. When we went to financing an 18,000 car became 37,900 with an interest rate of 6.99%. We couldn’t agree with the interest rate and Shirley from financing told us she will find us a lower rate. We left and Shirley called saying she got a lower interest rate and called the banks already. We couldn’t agree with the interest rate so immediately she lowered the interest rate to 6.64%. At that time I lost my confidence with Shirley and losing my trust. We emailed her stating we will find a lower interest because it is way too much. We found a lowered interest rate and told Shirley and immediately she lowered the interest rate again. I guess this how it work in their kind of business I don’t know… I lost my trust. She told me she will find me a good interest rate. It felt like a good interest rate is in her hands but for some reason she’s not ready to give it. An 18,900 car you will pay $30K+. Shirley called asking when are we taking the car and we felt like we are being pushed to take the car, I cried it felt like we were in a trap to take this corolla for $30K+ and we couldn’t afford it. We told her we are not taking the car anymore and she said she will give it to us with 1.30% but we declined. We are not comfortable to buy car from them anymore, even with the interest rate of 0%.This is probably how their business works but for us it’s like they will take all what they could get from you and these are the people you do not trust (at least we don’t). Shirley told us that we could’t get our $500 back. Well that 500 came from my pandemic pay for my service and It’s ok they can take it. We probably could be smarter, we learned our lesson and I hope people who can read these will be smarter than us or at least use this as a lesson. We all have to survive in this pandemic but taking advantage is too much we believe.

We had a very bad experience in this dealership. We were shopping around and wanting to trade in our fully paid car for a brand new Rav4. So we agreed on a deal but we changed our mind and wanting a different vehicle. Our agent when we wanted to sit down again and talk about it he wasn’t very helpful and it seems that he doesn’t want to sell us a highlander and insisting that we get the rav4 for the reason is because that they dont have it in stock and they would have to look for one. We feel we were being pressured to get the vehicle that we changed our mind on. Even the financial manager was very unprofessional he showed inappropriate actions towards us when we told him that we were not going to pursue the deal. It was very disrespectful and they were not being honest. Would not recommend this dealership! I wouldn’t even put a star they don’t deserve it.

I ended up going home with a car i love driving today.
Any questions or concerns are answered very quickly and helped with the appropriate departments.
They did not for a second try to sell me something i don't need (wether it be something extra on warranty, add-ons, or offered a complete different car from what i wanted)

My husband and I are tried and true Toyota people so when our daughter wanted to buy her first car we headed to Welland Toyota. She was interested in a pre-owned 2013 Corolla they had advertised, but it turned out that it was in the shop while they were doing work on the bumpers so she had to wait two weeks for them to put it back together before she could test drive it. The salesperson then forgot to call my daughter to let her know that it was ready. She eventually called them and found out it was, but had to call twice over the course of a couple of days before the salesman would even return her call so she could set up a time for the test drive.
We were then very disappointed to find out that when the bumpers were painted and put back on they weren't even the same color blue as the rest of the vehicle. What painter do you use?? It's really not that hard to match colours these days. Fortunately for you, my daughter decided that having a Toyota which is known to be a mechanically solid vehicle was important to her, so she decided to purchase the two-toned vehicle. The salesman also agreed to drop the price a little to make up for the poor paint job.
She went to pick up her new vehicle last Saturday, but they had either forgotten or hadn't bothered to replace the worn tires like they said they would so she has had to wait a week for that because apparently they had to order the tires because they didn't have any in stock. Yesterday, less than a week after getting her vehicle, she has discovered that there is a slow leak in one of the tires as she ended up with a flat. She called today, Saturday, which is a week after picking up her new vehicle, hoping she could finally get her new tires but they said the earliest they can get her in to put them on is Wednesday. So now she is going to have to pump up her tire every day until they can find the time to fit her in. How did this vehicle pass the safety??
There is also a headrest missing in the back seat and she is currently getting the run around with the salesman about getting that taken care of. There was a small crack in the tail light and as I am typing this my husband has discovered that there is now a piece of plastic missing from that. So the tail light cover will also have to be replaced now!
Welland Toyota I am very disappointed in the way you have taken care of my daughter!! Just because she has purchased a pre-owned vehicle doesn't mean she isn't a valuable customer. She paid a lot of money for her vehicle despite the issues it has. Your salesman said you pride yourself on customer safety and satisfaction but that sure hasn't been the case for my daughter!! She will be looking to replace her vehicle in a few years, and I can guarantee you she will be looking elsewhere. Ian, the gentleman from the finance department, has been the only one to help my daughter throughout this whole ordeal, but that has left me feeling like Welland Toyota is only interested in getting their money.

The definition of customer service. I purchased a 2011 tundra in December of 2018. It had an issue with the differential. It took awhile for us to figure out what the issue was and was fixed this week. Why am I not mad it took so long you ask ? The whole time I was assured by Drew Etherington the issue would be resolved . I never felt abandoned through out this experience. Great communication from Drew . I have purchased several new and used vehicals in the last 3 years and never had this level of service period. Niels Pedersen runs a class act dealership that others should take notes from. I was a solid Ford f150 fan for years. This is my 1st Toyota product , next truck will be a Toyota again. It is almost a 2 hour drive for me to get there from woodstock. The service is so good I will drive all the way there for my next purchase. Thanks very much to Drew and Niels for the great experience and customer support. The lunch at MT Bellies is also greatly appreciated.

Best experience ever for buying a pre-owned car for my son. It was his first car purchase and we outlined his budget and what he was looking for in a car. Welland Toyota found the perfect fit when a trade-in came in and called us. The car was exactly what we were looking for and within budget. I can honestly say that I met a person that I would describe as the "best" sales person that I have ever met. That person is Dawson Trickett. I met Dawson last week and he showed me a 2019 Avalon Ltd which I decided I could not afford. Dawson was not pushy at all. He could tell that I was disappointed and through further discussion he showed me a 2018 Camry Hybrid (Demo) which I was interested and Dawson put together a deal that worked for me and Welland Toyota. I really really dislike sales people because most are snakes and rip you off. These people here are the total opposite. They are like from another planet.

Tires passed safety but the owner (FRANK) does not screw around, so he put NEW TIRES on.

Brakes failed on my suv and I was close to Toyota went in and they booked the car right away. Gave me a ride home and 3 hours later my car was already.
