Had the body shop do some work on our vehicle and it was a disaster. So many trips and apologies and excuses that we have given up and will get another body shop to fix all their mistakes.

Even had the management involved and they were useless.

I had an oil change and once I reach home I was wondering the motor oil from my car is splatter all over the place from the driveway and inside my garage. I need to bang my head to the service manager that doesn't want to gave it to me in the first place to have at least 3 free oil change to compensate what I paid the guy to clean up the mess of oil plus the 6 gallons of decreaser to wipe off the excess oil. Be warn this dealer not very professional in dealing customer complaint and apprentice mechanic are not much knowledgeable for the money you've paid . Its not worth.

Wouldn't recommend this location if you intend on buying a brand new or any sort of car. Gave the sales adviser all the information such as Down Payment amount, number of month etc. and got a report of my monthly Finance amount. Numbers seemed off so I visited another location for the same vehicle and same information, I got a more accurate report with a huge price difference. The sales personnel try their best to confuse you and get you to pay more then you would normally. This was my experience when attempting to purchase a brand new 2020 vehicle. Do your research and definitely visit another location to compare offers.

The customer service was exceptional! It was my first time at this Toyota location, and everyone was so king and knowledgeable. Booking an appointment with Josephine was no hassle, she was actively listening and was very courteous. Mr. Vejay helped us out and was very efficient. I'd also like to thank Dr. Shah for approaching my sister and I and taking the time to talk to us. He was very kind and informed us that he designed the really cool informational wall with the Toyota tires, air filters etc. We had a good conversation with Shiva, who drive us back; he was very nice! Overall, it was a great experience!

I can see most of the reviews here are very positive and few are very negative. In normal case any dealership is Ok with overall 4 star rating, ignoring negative remarks.
That is not a case with Brimell Toyota!!

Almost 17 Years back, I was one among those having very unpleasant experience from Brimell and had decided to never go back to this dealer ship and I wrote my concern to dealership head. Instead of ignoring me, I was called by Mr. Shah, Customer Relation Manager to discuss my issues. That day, I experienced his ability of Customer Retention… In short He made me to take U-turn.
Since then, I always come here to buy vehicle (from even 200 Km away, where I live at this time). I bought one more vehicle yesterday too!! This is seventh Toyota from Brimell, my family bought.
Here entire staff acts like customer service professionals..

Service bay was jammed with cars waiting to be serviced when I visited the dealership during first major snow in Toronto area, I have to park my car outside the bay entrance door. It was obvious that their service schedule was overbooked. The waiting area is accommodating, but I felt like the similar atmosphere at doctor/government office waiting to be called. Their shuttle service was excellent, and the service consultant I met was well trained and offered good customer experience. I decided to cancel the tire change service due to the unexpected long wait (estimated to be as long as 5 hours), I hope in the future, they should gives the upcoming customer ahead of the expected wait time.

Purchased my 2019 minivan and was happy with purchase experience. However, service has been a nightmare for me. I have complained about a noise I hear from my new vehicle but they cannot seem to fix it and keep brushing me off saying that it is normal. All of these times I always had to wait long for diagnosis but still my car is with the noise(Mind you it is new). When I thought I was due for an oil change (8,000 km), I was told that the first oil change would not be until 16, 000 km but my friend's Toyota had an oil change at 8,000 as the service manual suggests. I am wondering if it is because I have free service (not really free as I paid for it when I bought my car) for 3 years? My most recent one made me decide that I will transfer to another dealership. When I booked to have my wheels switched. When I came on time for my appointment, I was told that I might have to wait 3 hours for tire switch. Also I stored my tires with them previously and was told the price was double this year. Really disappointed with this dealership.

I purchased a used vehicle from Brimell Toyota in June 2019 and found out after the fact that the vehicle had been in a rear end collision previously but this was not disclosed to me when I did the deal on Saturday Morning of the long weekend. I finalized the deal and paid in full within half an hour. I asked to have the ownership so that I could get the vehicle transferred as I was paying for a rental vehicle but to my surprise I was told that they do not have the ownership of this vehicle and it will need to be on Tuesday after the long weekend. Since I was using the rental vehicle, they said that they will reimburse me for 2 days out of the 3. Over the weekend, I asked for the carproof for my records and noticed that it had an accident reported on it with another motor vehicle. On Tuesday after the long weekend, I told the sales person who spoke with the manager and they decided to refund me. I went to see the used car manager Chris to see if he could reduce the price to account for the vehicle’s previous accident history, he was of absolute no help. I explained to him that I am already 3 additional days into the rental plus now need to continue my search the following weekend and continue to pay for the rental, yet, absolutely nothing. I asked him for my refund and he said that he already signed and approved for it and I will have my refund check available first thing in the morning. Next day, my wife went in and there was nothing. Spoke with Chris on the phone and he just brushed off by saying that he will call me back.
The issue continues… I will update this as it progresses…

Came in for a test drive and I pretty much stood in the lobby watching people pass by one after the other no one greeted me until i had to call the person that told me to come in, I was told i would meet a manager and i spoke to a rep (after all that wait), after test drive i felt pressured into jumping into the vehicle that very day ( I guess this is the feel of any dealership), after long talks with a rep by phone the rep made me an offer and I then asked about the said offer and she has not called me back text nor email, before that it was constant communication, the last thing she said to me is that she did not make that offer, after sending me an actual document of the said offer she did not make (joker).

Very sad I was not able to get the said vehicle as i had liked it a lot and roomy for my family,

It would be just easier if i had dealt with a manager the entire time, cause the reps are clearly oblivious about what they are saying and how they deal with people, as i deal with people on a daily with my job.

Half of the staff didn't know the product and needed a brochure for all my questions on top of that got rude with me and my brother on the test drive when I told them I am shopping around. Sales reps shouldn't work on getting the sale today but to provide a great experience where the customer feels to return and give Brinell the business. They shouldn't hire kids without any experience or automotive knowledge and especially people that will take everything to heart and get annoyed with customers. If I am looking to spend 50,000 on a minivan I am surely going to shop around that is the consumer. They should understand this being in the automotive industry. I don't know what's worse the overly confident managers or the miserable sales staff ....

I bought my truck about 2 month ago used but fairly new i had a few issues with some electronics in the vehicle. Its been in service back and forth a few times. Finally i have what was promised to me and all things are working. At first i didn't have such a great experience with management that made promises and didn't come through. However BRITNEY in the service department listened to my concerns and made things happen for me that should of happened before i took the truck home to begin with. She spent time with me in service trying to figure things out her efforts were beyond what i expected truly appreciate it. The 5 Stars go out to BRITNEY !!!! .. Wanted to see inside of boot, was given a weired excuse as to why they can't. Once my service is done will drive down to Scarborough Toyota, much better customer service. My experience with Brimell Toyota was a testing one. Their sales staff isn’t necessarily trained to handle problems with after sale customers. In other words they might try to make a big problem seem like its nothing.

After they realized the seriousness of my situation they took responsibility. A number of their senior staff got involved. They made sure I was comfortable (got me a rental) throughout the repair of my car. On top of that they were never rude. They never asked me to do more than what I could handle. When I couldn’t they swiftly took care of me despite my residence being one hour away.

They’re a fair bunch. I happy with with Brimell. It’s important to find a dealership you can trust when buying a car. I’m glad I found this one.

Very bad service.
1) Had a very bad experience in 2015 with purchasing a used vehicle where it was not delivered on time and had to cancel the purchase because the staff and managers didn't know what they were doing. I ended up going to another Toyota Dealership to purchase a vehicle.
2) Had to take my vehicle into the body shop (June 2016) as Brimell was the "recommended" collision center of the insurance company. I was picked up by their shuttle service and once I arrived their they informed me that my car wasn't ready. Had to wait 2 hours so they can get the car ready.
The staff at Brimell have no respect for the customer's time and don't appreciate your business. Please choose another dealership. I'm never going back to Brimell.
