I just found a gem of a car in the used car inventory. It was a 2016 Corolla LE with extremely low mileage. All of the staff were very personable. Warren LaRoque assisted me during the purchase. He was incredibly accommodating and I felt provided service that far exceeded my expectations. This particular vehicle was admittedly an exceptional find so the dealership was inflexible with negotiation. However, I did not resent paying the final price agreed upon.
Additional details such as winter tires, undercoating and delivery were handled very efficiently. Warren transformed a transaction that I was dreading into a very positive experience. I will certainly do business with this dealership again.

I am extremely displeased with my experience at George Jackson Toyota.
I had contacted the Sales Team via email through a used vehicle ad on their website. I was advised the next day that the vehicle was unfortunately recently vandalized(catalytic converter stolen), however, I was welcome to go see it. No approximate repair date was advised at this time. I live approximately 2 hours away from GJT and had an upcoming business trip, therefore I chose not to make the drive to see the vehicle until I knew it was ready to be driven safely.
Eight days later, I responded to request an update on the vehicle’s repair status and to negotiate a sale price. After coming to an agreement, receiving a confirmation that the catalytic converter had been replaced, and receiving a purchase agreement by email, due to my work schedule I agreed to make the 2 hour drive to see/test the vehicle three days later on the Saturday. When I arrived, the vehicle was absolutely filthy. The exterior and interior had not been cleaned whatsoever, and the interior wreaked of wet dog. Knowing this vehicle was the model/colour I was looking for and I had taken a 2 hour drive to see it, I still took it for a test drive and visually inspected the best I could. Not knowing what the vehicle looked like in a clean state, I advised the salesperson I would think it over and call on Monday morning, and I made the 2 hour drive back home. The salesperson did advise at this time that someone else had shown interest, however, they would hold it until I called on Monday.
I called on Monday morning and expressed my concerns regarding the vehicle not being clean, and I reviewed vehicle service history with the salesperson. I asked if they would accept an offer slightly less than what was agreed upon, which was declined. The salesperson asked if the previous agreement was still an option for me and I confirmed. I explained I wished to discuss the agreement with my spouse and I would follow-up with a confirmation by the end of day. I called only one hour later to confirm I agreed to proceed with the purchase, however I was advised they were giving the other potential buyer the opportunity to see/test the vehicle.
After waiting for a few days to receive a confirmation if I still had the option to purchase the vehicle, I called the salesperson for an update and was advised it was sold. I explained to the salesperson the total displeasure of the situation and argued the fact that we already had an agreement. I was advised they would discuss with Management to determine if I could proceed with the purchase, and they would return my call. The General Manager called me back, stating that the business owner’s vehicle had also had it’s catalytic converter stolen and that they needed the vehicle I wished to purchase for an unknown length of time. Although I knew this statement was a lie, I advised the General Manager that I am still interested in purchasing the vehicle, even if it becomes available in a month or two.
The following week, I noticed the same used vehicle ad remained active on the GJT website, so I had my spouse respond to the posting. The salesperson who responded confirmed the vehicle was in fact sold, and the new owner was taking delivery within the next few days.
Tim Chevalier was the salesperson who assisted me, who I will say was very helpful in answering my questions and concerns, and was pleasant to deal with.
The General Manager is Warren Larocque, which is who I dealt with for the purchase agreement. I can’t say I’m pleased with his service or professionalism at all.
After wasting so much time, gas money, effort and being lied to, I can honestly say I will never consider George Jackson Toyota for any future vehicle purchase. I will also advise all family, friends and any other person inquiring about this dealership of my terrible experience with them. If you’re looking to purchase a vehicle, I would suggest looking elsewhere.

It was so very refreshing to receive excellent customer service from Tim Chevalier at George Jackson to help us with our replacement vehicle. Wait times for new vehicles are at an all-time high, but Tim was quick and efficient to deal with, often responding to our questions within minutes, sometimes even on his day off. He spent over 2 hours with us at the dealership the day we picked up our vehicle, showing us all the ins and outs of the truck so that we felt very comfortable leaving the lot. Overall, it was a stress-free buying experience that was honest and not pushy. Would highly recommend.

Has to be one of the worst dealerships I've ever gone into in my 45+ years of driving! First they low ball you on your trade-in, then when you tell them you'll sell it yourself and do a "convenience sale" through the dealership to save tax on your new vehicle, they refuse to do the convenience sale, stating, "it's not our policy". Go somewhere else, most dealerships are happy to do convenience sales.
In response to your response. A safety check and Carfax would cover all those concerns.

My husband and I bought a RAV4 and a Tacoma within the past year. Sales rep Tim was great, we have really enjoyed the vehicles and have been happy with the service....until today. Whilst in the waiting area for over 45 mins, I noted that receptionist never put her mask on, despite there being several clients there. She did not put on her mask while putting out fresh coffee cups or interacting with any of the clients in that area. Several times another young woman came to chat with her in the waiting area and neither of them wore their mask despite being in teh same area as waiting clients. The sales reps wore their masks. The woman at the servicing desk also did not put her mask on, albeit she was behind the plexiglass when interacting with clients. What a contrast - great sales and service wrt to vehicles but total disregard for public health....

I've never been treated so poorly by a car dealership. They replaced an A/C clutch on my Tundra under warranty because the bearings were squealing. A couple months later the A/C failed entirely. I had them re-diagnose and they told me my compressor needed to be replaced, but now my truck was out of warranty. I was reluctant to pay for this on a 3yr old truck. They said they would contact Toyota to see if it could be replaced under goodwill.

For months I was led on and told that they were processing the claim. I checked in every couple of weeks and was eventually told by a new manager that they had no record of a claim ever being submitted. The dealership took the position that they no longer wanted to assist me and if I wanted to pursue a goodwill claim I would have to go to another dealership.

Eventually I found that the source of the problem was the improper installation of the A/C clutch by George Jackson. My receipt indicated that Toyota Parts should be covered for 24 months, but George Jackson told me because I didn't pay for the part (under warranty) they would not cover it or offer any refund.

I was patient and courteous with every interaction. The service department here is either incompetent or dishonest. I was not shown any respect and will avoid George Jackson at all costs and recommend the same to friends and family.

I love my RAV4!!! I gave up on Pembroke dealerships as they don't give a stuff about customer service, some of those Pembroke dealerships are verbally abusive to female employees..I will not support violence or being a seen as a second class "civi". I got a better price and better vehicle in comparison to the Santa Fe. Fair pricing, I would recommend Colleen to any buyer; 1st time, seniors or repeat customers, the whole experience has us all converted to Toyota owners. I would like to talk about my experience with this dealership. I bough my first car from them in March of this year. The salesman was very professional and respectful in all his dealings with us. He took the time to explain everything in a manner that we could understand, and answered all our questions. When we picked up the car He said that they had discovered a stone chip in the windshield. Instead of just patching the chip, they replaced the windshield. They also replaced the side mirror when it was discovered that part of it was broken.
After three months we discovered a problem with the front brakes. Without any hesitation they agreed to take care of all the cost for repair. I personally recommend this dealer as I have received excellent service from everyone I have dealt with.

My initial thought was that it was a little far to go from the city, so I sent an e-mail outlining my interest in a Highlander and my starting offer to see what they could do. Tim from George Jackson responded promptly, took my offer seriously, and invited me in for a test drive. The buying experience with Tim was stress-free, no pressure and very professional. I Highly recommend reaching out to him if you are in the market. One week later, I am in my brand new Highlander and loving it.
